We have frequented this location every time we've visited a Habit location in the past 4 years (close to 20 times) and I honestly can't believe I haven't written a review. I've read a lot of reviews on Yelp and I can't say that I've ever experienced poor or rude service, but there have been several inconsistencies from receiving overcooked burgers, undercooked fries or having to wipe down our table to eat. That said, these issues happen, sometimes more often than others, but not enough times to ward off future visits. There was a small line to order when we arrived, so we ordered through the kiosk without issue. This actually prompted others to order through the kiosk as well. After ordering, we walked up to the register to get our drink cups and were quickly greeted by a smiling, lovely employee who promptly gave me our cups. I ordered the new Parmesan chicken club, which unfortunately does not come in a combo...so I ordered the 50/50 (fries and onion rings) and my husband had the charburger with cheese combo. Our food came out quickly and looked stunning! The cheese was melted around the grilled chicken, the bacon was crispy, ingredients were fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection. My only disappointment is that the 50/50 is almost $5 as a side....and I felt like there wasn't enough fries and only 4 small onion rings. Fries were mostly undercooked as well. However, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. My husband's charburger tasted great, but was a tad disappointed as the burger patty was much thinner than other visits. It was almost $34 for lunch and we almost feel like we didn't get our money's worth. Nice, clean burger joint. Plenty of tables to sit at. Modern decor but no TVs for sports. The bathrooms were clean. Food is ordered and paid for at the counter. They give you a beeper and page it when the food is ready. Download the App and get a free charburger with purchase. I ordered the charburger and the squeeze got the Cobb salad. The burger tasted good, the meat was done perfectly, still juicy too. The only problem I had was the grilled onions were right on top so the top bun was a bit soggy. The Cobb salad had plenty going on, lots of grilled chicken, bacon and cheese, The lettuce was crispy and there were pickled red onions and some avocado slices on it as well. It was a nice lunch. Our first time visiting the Habit Burger in Nampa. Let me start off with saying I'm an In n Out gal but we wanted to try a new place. Customer service first of all was 10/10!! The gal at the drive through was very sweet and everything we asked for was what we got even down to the ketchup for the fries. The reason for 3 stars is just because it was an "okay" taste experience. There was quite a bit of mayo on the chicken sandwich, like a crazy lot... and it was just meh for the price we paid. Had to pay extra for cheese, which was weird to me. Food was...nothing special... the burger was tasty with the char broil on it, just a little pricey for what we got. I would give 3.5 stars if I could. Give them a try, maybe it's your style of cuisine? Everyone working had a smile on their face and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs so that's always good to see read more

That might have been the worst burger I've ever had. This is only 2nd visit to a Habit in ten years. We looked forward to an above average burger. Absolute joke! Took the wife out for Mother's Day (her choice) and had an absolutely horrible experience! Will never go back again! Almost $14 for a burger and fries and the fry basket was literally half full. My wife went to ask them is the portion was right and they could care less and told us those are the new portions they give. We paid restaurant prices for fast food with half the food. The burgers are really good but extremely small. I could have doubled my order and still not felt full. I could have eaten a steak @ Texas Road House for less $$. We had a run in with this establishment back in '21 and I boycotted it for a few years but it's my wife's favorite place to eat. Needless to say, she is absolutely done with this establishment as well. Over the past few years I have been going back, my experience has been below my standard but we would periodically go to make the wifey happy. I am so thankful she is done with this place too! I will give them the fact that the food is good but unless I feel like I am not getting ripped off, I can't really enjoy the meal. I could go to Applebee's, Chili's, Red Robbin, etc. and get a better burger, more portions and less $$. What a shame this place has turned into. Had to cancel my entire order. I placed a delivery order and received a call from the delivery service (one hour after placing my order online) informing me that Habit Burger was out of the burger I ordere, the most expensive one on the menu. Apparently, they were missing bacon and pepper jack cheese. The planned to substitute burger was the cheapest one on the menu but Habit Burger still wanted to charge me the more expensive one. First timer and very bad experience. I went through the drive thru and I was the 5th car in line. Exactly 24 minutes later I got my food. There was absolutely no seasoning on the burger. Burger was only semi-warm, fries were over cooked and hard as a rock. Tried to find out what took so long from the young lady at windows and her answer was "I don't know." I decided to go inside this Habit Burger to place a To Go order, instead of going through the drive through. I ordered 2 meals- 1 with no mayo and no grilled onions and 1 with no mayo no tomato. The cashier read back my order to me and he had it entered correctly so to my surprise after driving 15 min to get home did I discover that both burgers had instead of no mayo it was like a double portion of mayo that oozed out of the bun .... Sooo gross. And the grilled onions couldn't be picked off the burger because they were embedded in the bun. I hope this place gets their orders figured out before In & Out opens their doors in the same parking lot because they will put them out of business. Pretty good burgers. We had the portobello mushroom burger. The mushroom was cooked just right. Very flavorful burger with cheese. I was worried the bun would get soggy with the mushroom juices but it was not. Pleasantly surprised! We had the deep fried green beans with their special sriracha sauce as a side to compliment our burger! Yummy! Gave the beans a bit of a spicy kick, but not overpowering. So we used to like going here, however either management has change or something else as the quality has gone down the last two times. Both times we had ordered a chicken sandwich, the first time the sandwich was so poorly made, the chicken covered only half the bun. The second time the chicken was so rubbery we could not bite through half of it. While they offered to remake it, our appetite was ruined. The second issue is they have no way of getting a refund. We had ordered two milk shakes, only to be told after we paid that the milkshake machine was broke. The staff was unable to offer a refund for their mistake. We were told to go the corporate habit website and file a complaint. That looks to be a generic web-form that will go no where as it had no way to link it to my order. To date I have not received any reply back. I will probably not be back for a while. One bad time is a mistake, two is a pattern. Also if anyone and the business cares, the milkshake order was made on March 28 of this year at7:28pm: Edit, by reaching out they said "sorry". No offer of a refund, just a gift certificate for a hamburger which I will not be using. Probably should do a chargeback since they charged me for items they did not deliver. So the customer service team is about as good as the rest of the restaurant. Lowering my review due to this. read more

I think today might be my last time visiting this location. And maybe The Habit franchise all together. Seems that they sure like to upcharge for items, but those items are almost always missing. This time it was the requested and paid for, cheese on my teriyaki burger. This is the second or third time this has happened. Shame on me for expecting what I order and pay for to be correct?? Also ordered sweet potato fries and they are soggy and limp. The last time my husband was with me he ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. No BBQ sauce, but there was an excessive amount of mayo. First visit here tonight, and have to say my wife and I were pleasantly pleased with our food. We both had the Santa Barbara Char burger, except the wife had hers wrapped in lettuce while I opted for the sourdough. Both options produced great results. I swear the sourdough has a slight 'rye' flavor, but that may have been the seasoning on the burger playing with my taste buds. The fries were crisp and excewnt tasting. I might say that some might think a bit to much salt, but for me, it was a great tasting fry. There are several other menu choices, including salads and chicken. Average at best! I can not t recommend any of their chicken sandwiches. After six attempts to get a decent sandwich we have thrown in the towel. During today's visit we ordered a Golden Fried Chicken with cheese. They forgot the cheese that we paid extra for and when i went up to get a slice they gave me piece that looked like they had dropped it on the floor, is was probably just from the cook's hands after preparing a burger but since I couldn't be sure I decided not to eat it. The chicken was over cooked dry and burnt in spots, the bin fell apart like it had been previously frozen. We would give the chicken 1-1.5 stars. On the other hand the burgers have been consistent and decent, not spectacular I would give them 3-4 stars. I recommend eating in while the burgers are still hot and fresh from there oven, previous to go orders were not so good once we got them home. read more

I ALMOST didn't come here due to the reviews, but I'm sooo glad we gave it a chance! These burgers are absolutely wonderful! The fact that I can sub an impossible patty for 89¢ is wild (please never change that)! We just moved to town and this place was super close, so we decided to give it a go because of their family meal deal. I love how much you can customize the burger, and the fried green beans were delicious. I was honestly cracking up because half way though I realized I had a half wheat bun and half regular bun, but I didn't mind at all. My son got the banana shake and said it was the best he's ever tried. The service is quick too, we ordered online both times and it was ready in under 10 minutes. We're definitely a fan and will be coming back again & again! read more

This was a great dinner spot. We had the guacamole burger with garlic fries. We also ordered a regular burger with cheese. All was Wonderful!!!! The family also ordered a chocolate shake and strawberry shake. We had no left overs! My phone died while we were there so I was not able to get a picture but I can promise we will go back if we are ever in the area again! Came in on a Sunday afternoon, place was kinda busy. Had to wait in line to place an order, received a buzzer at the end of the order. One thing I want to mention is that on their menu above the counter, they have a giant picture of a char burger that shows cheese, but they actually charge EXTRA for cheese, pretty lame IMO. The wait time wasn't too bad, maybe 10-14 minutes overall. Definitely not as fast as McDonalds or Burger King, but this food is worth it and you can clearly taste the difference. While waiting on the food, I sat down at one of the booths and noticed right off top how much better the interior design of this place is compared to the location in Meridian. I haven't been at the Meridian location in a couple of months, but from what I remember, it wasn't nearly as bright and modern as this one. The Nampa location has A LOT of natural light, VERY high ceilings, HUGE windows, and a very modern overall design, something I really liked. There is a small section once you enter the place with bar-height tables and chairs. I usually prefer the higher bar seating, but at this place I'd recommend sitting in one of the booths in the back, there is so much natural light back there it's really great. The overall floor plan is very good here. This location is such a step up in terms of atmosphere over the Meridian one in my eyes. The food here was exactly how I remembered it to be in Meridian, didn't taste any better or worse. Even though the price of the food is a little higher than regular fast food places, it really is worth it IMO. I got the double char meal with cheese, came out to around $10, and I do feel that's somewhat fair. Their drink selection was great, they had some fresh limeaid type drinks ( I had the Blueberry, Citrus & Mint one, very tasty). One negative that can be improved on is overall tidiness of the place. When I came in, there were only a couple of open tables, but it seemed like all of them were somewhat dirty (crumbs, napkins, straw wrappers, etc). Bathrooms weren't bad, but the trash can was overflowing with paper towels. Floors in the dining area had straw wrappers and little pieces of food in some places. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. I was leaning more towards giving this place a 4, but the interior design and atmosphere pushed it to a 5. IMO, this location here in Nampa is way better than the location in Meridian. Just be aware there IS a wait time before you get your food, and the prices ARE higher than what you'd expect from other fast food burger places. All in all, I'd highly recommend this place, 5 stars EASY. read more

Ordered the new Garlic fries but what I got was regular fries with a little cheese on top I went through the drive thru and they forgot my drink, which I went back for. Also, when ordering the employee wouldn't sub the regular fries with the Parmesan fries on a combo order. She wanted to charge for the Parmesan fries as a side order. I asked if I was still getting the regular fries with the order and I was told 'I thought you wanted Parmesan'. I stated 'I do, but I also want the regular fries that come with the order.' To be honest, we have only dined out at this location. This was our "Go-to" burger joint during COVID. I have not tried a great deal of things on the menu. I order the same thing, every time we eat here. It's not for lack of options, it's because the Santa Barbara Char is just SO DARN GOOD! This Burger/sandwich is served on perfectly toasted sourdough. It's a double meat burger with enough cheese between the patty that you can taste it, but it's not overpowering. there is also sliced avacado involved here. Not a gross pre-made guac. The avacado is the real deal, making it feel like you're getting a gourmet sandwich every time! The fries are also very good, however my favorite side dish has to be the deep fried green beans. I choose them every time. For awhile they offered a spicy option for the deep fried green beans, but they don't have them anymore. I sure do hope they come back. They were wonderful! The drive through line is sometimes long, the wait can also be a bit longer than your typical fast food place, but we have decided Habit Burger is worth the wait. read more
