Oreo SONIC Blast, Reese's SONIC Blast and a Strawberry Hand Mixed Classic Shake.
    Tiara B.

This is solely based on dessert because that's what I came here for. Ordered a oreo blast and added hot fudge to it. It was really good, I will say that I got a small and it was pretty big. The only thing was the person taking our order didn't know the ounces difference between the mini and small which I found strange. If he was sure of the ounces I would have gotten the mini to be honest. My husband hasda Reese's blast and enjoyed it and we also ordered a strawberry milkshake for my mom which she said was delicious, maybe just a little too thick for just a straw so grab a spoon too. I I'll definitely be back for another oreo blast in the near future that's for sure.

After seeing all the commercials with those two guys sitting in their car eating at a Sonic drive-in I decided to see what Sonic is all about. I had noticed this Sonic in my travels around Long Island and bookmarked it to try at a later date. Well the wife and I were shopping nearby and were looking for a place for lunch. I remembered this Sonic so off we went. Just like in the commercials you can sit in your car and a car hop will roller skate your order over to you. I do not like eating in my vehicle so we opted to sit in their patio area. You place your order at the menu board and wait for your server to skate your order to the table. The service was fast and personable. Now on to the food. I'm not a fan of fast food but Sonic gave us quite a surprise, everything was very good. I was not in the mood for a hamburger or a hotdog or a fried chicken sandwich. I noticed that they serve breakfast all day so I chose a bacon, egg and cheese on a ciabatta roll with fires and a diet coke. My wife had the cheeseburger with tater tots and a diet coke. I do not mind eggs cooked in a microwave if done properly and at Sonic they did it the right way, not over cooked. The bacon was plentiful, 3 slices, thick cut and also not over cooked. I like my bacon on the soft and chewy side and it was cooked like I like it. The ciabatta roll held it all together perfectly. I like the fact the the french fries still had the skin on them, were cooked to crispy perfection and did not wimp out. Even the soft drink was not overloaded with ice. My wife's cheeseburger is not her usual thing but she said it was surprisingly satisfying. Lettuce tomato sweet onion topped her quarter pounder. She is a fan of tater tots and she said these were the highlight of her meal. I would rate Sonic a step above McDonalds and Burgerking. I would have no problem going back to any Sonic and eating there again. I want to try their hotdog on a pretzel roll. I'll be back!

Poor excuse for bbq popcorn chicken

So I went to try the new buffalo chicken bites. They were pretty decent. Also ordered a burger, pretzel & cheese and bbq popcorn chicken. Highly disappointed with the popcorn chicken.

    Surprising tasty!

Occasionally not eating properly is in order. We gave it a try. We were at Tangers Deer Park and was driving to get gas and said why not. Definitely a surprise. Does have some pluses. Tater tots an absolute positive as you can not get them at any Other fast food place. Cheeseburger is not my usual thing surprisingly satisfying. Lettuce tomato sweet onion topped the quarter pounder. I was also pleased to find my sofa had just the proper amount of ice. Nothing bothers me more than having some sofa with my ice! I would rank it one step below Burger King and above McDonalds.

    Boneless Wings meal

Glad we have a Sonic on Long Island. Been here multiple times over the past year or so. I usually dine-in here by parking outside in front of the place and ordering food in the central area rather than driving in. They have a hugeeee menu with a crazy amount of options. I got the boneless wings meal here recently. It came with 6 boneless wings, fries, and a soft drink. It came out to like $8.61 with tax included. The meal was a bit of a rip off; definitely not enough food included for paying almost 9 bucks. The wings were pretty aight and the fries weren't the best. I ate my meal in like 4-5 bites and wasn't full. At times they have a pretty long line for the drive-in as well. I'd give 2.5 stars to be exact.

I have been watching commercials for a long time. When they opened this place up, I couldn't wait to try them. I waited several years and finally went for some ice cream one night. The ice cream was fine. About a week later, we went back for some food. Pulled into a space and ordered from the big board. It was only a couple of minutes before our server skated over and handed us a bag of food. Since it was a drive in place, I presumed they put a try on the window. They do not. I don't understand why they have the stalls to order from. I guess to keep the speed of the drivethru. The food was fine. It was average at best. Typical fast food with tots. I might be back. No point in using the stall.

I don't get the hype about this place. Sitting, waiting- annoying. Would like to see a bit more healthy options.

Do not come here looking for a massive, gluttonous burger, but do come for a quality, carefully built and tasty one. Your 8oz burger may seem smallish when it first arrives, but thats because it comes on a bun that is the right size - not a bunch of extra bread. My girlfriend really liked the turkey burger option and the waffle sweet potato fries - but she was not a fan of the marshmallow dipping sauce and stuck to bbq. I had a standard burger with some bacon and onion straws. She was a little surprised that lettuce and tomato were not standard and automatic (this was said after the burgers arrived - I assume that they are on the menu for customization if you want them), but enjoyed her burger nonetheless. $25 is a bit high for a burger, so this will not be a weekly stop, but once in a while on the way through Babylon for a simple, tasty meal, absolutely. Service is attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is noisy, but I would not call it overly loud - music was not blaring and conversation could be maintained at normal levels. This was on Sunday - early evening - I will make no assumptions about a busy Friday or Saturday night - I can imagine it gets quite lively.
