Worst place ever. waited 20 minutes for inedible old food. AWFUL

So I have a few things to say about this place. First, when I have gotten food there, the footlong chili dogs and tots are great. Better than expected hence the 2 stars. Now for the bad. I have been there and pressed the call button for being parked and gotten no answer for up to 10 minutes before just leaving. No signage saying they were closed, no voice to say they were closed, people getting drive through, nobody could be bothered. On to my most recent visit, I walked into the store as there was no sign saying drive thru only. As I walked in with a buddy, our shoes started immediately sticking to the floor. Not just a normal stick, but an actual could have used a scraper to pry my sneakers up to take another step kind of sticky. Then a woman came in and yelled at us that the dining room was closed (remember, they could have put a sign on the door to avoid all of that embarrassment) and that the only thing available was the drive thru. So we ventured to the drive thru, and as we were both paying with cards, separately, I politely stated we had 2 separate orders. The voice boomed back that they ain't doin no separate orders in drive thru. So only my buddy got food. He said the food tasted good though and he was happy with his slimy looking burger and limp fries. I just wish kids today remembered what true customer service and manners were. read more

The worst. 20 minutes for our simple order, and the tater tots were missing. How tf do you forget the tater tots. Not only that, but they didn't give us the combo deal price.. didn't realize this until we drove away and I wasn't going back. This place needs new management. Nobody here cares at all about customers or getting orders right. read more

Let me preface this by saying, I grew up in the south, where Sonic was as prevalent as McDonald's in some areas, so to find out after many years I was going to be reunited with one of my favorite fast food joints was truly exciting, but short lived. So, we've just had our 3rd Sonic experience since it's opened, and unfortunately, it was worse for wear. Our first was within the month it opened. It was a long wait, but our food was hot and order correct. My husband took our child the second time and had such a terrible experience, he called the manager the next day. Upon his complaint, he gave his name and was assured (by word) of a $30 credit upon our next visit. Fast forward to this afternoon. My husband tries to redeem his credit and is told by the manager on duty that they can't find his name in the log, but he's welcome to call the GM on Wednesday. We're there, and hungry, so we order and pay. I ordered a grilled cheese and tots for our kid, the wrapper had lettuce in it. I got root beer instead of coke. There was a random burger in the bag, and my husband's sandwich wasn't even there. No apologies and a smile, and it took over 10 minutes even though they weren't busy. Though my husband does plan on making yet another complaint, I don't think any amount of credit will bring us back to this Sonic again. It's truly a disappointment. They'll be hard pressed to succeed if they continue to run like this. read more

This was my first time ever at Sonic and it will probably be my last visit. The way I was treated as a customer was atrocious. It took me 3 orders to get my meal because of the lousy staff. This causes me to have a distasteful outlook on the company. There truly is nothing good to come from this place and I will take my money to the McDonald's across the street next time I'm around. read more

Sonic is new to this area and they have seen the business because of the excitement surrounding the opening. Since then, it has slowed down, but their service speed has not sped up. On several occasions I've waited an absurd amount of time in the drive thru for a simple order. Disappointing service for "fast" food. read more

They must've fired those incompetent nasty girls from before. We had a very polite person take our order and a very nice gentleman bring our drinks. The drinks came quite quickly and were actually made the right way! It's amazing what a little service can do. read more

Pretty good value for fast food, burgers seem much better than burger King. They tend too have some specials that are very good. I would say I enjoy DQ a bit more, but Sonic much better than BK or McD for the money read more

Sonic is the worst customer service I've ever seen regarding fast food service waiting in line girl sounds un education let alone trainable has no idea of all customer service skills level on the people that are in line waiting for food. The food is OK but never use the drive thru. I went to sonic and got in the drive thru. After waiting at the speaker for 3 minutes and never having anyone respond to me or ask me what I wanted I drove up to the window. They refused to take my order and told me I would have to go around back to the speaker. I told them I'm not going to do that and be ignored again and drove away. read more

There's a little bit of nostalgia involved when you go to a car hop place. Unusual warm October day we decided to go to Sonic to sit in the car, eat some junk food and listen to a ballgame on the radio. All the makings for a good time. The ordering process went fine and then we waited, and waited... a solid 25 minutes passed before our food was brought to us. I was tempted to leave but I couldn't bring myself to do it! The 1/4 cheeseburger was very good and for me, saved the day. Grilled chicken wrap not so much, very bland chicken like meat. Both were a little sloppy for car eating. Milkshake was good but no straw was given, just a spoon. Overall a little disappointing. I can see going back just for a shake or slushee drink. read more

First time I have ever eating here, love the old school drive up feature. Food is ok nothing to brag about Burgers n hotdogs. My husband had the foot long hotdog which he said was ok( he's had better at other sonics) I had the chicken tenders n onion rings, tenders were normal onion rings had a sweet tasting batter which I kinda enjoyed from the normal batter. Services was ok. I know people brag about sonic, maybe it's just this location, will try another location some other time. read more

This is my second time at sonic. I went again thinking the first time was just a fluke, however, I was right and should Of trusted my gut. My food was cold, took 10 mins for an order of chicken fingers and a shake. I ordered the vanilla bean shake and got something that I don't even know what's in it (tastes like cheesecake maybe.) I didn't get any sauce in my bag and had to beep my horn for an employee to come back to the window. I WILL be calling the manager tomorrow! read more

A strong visit. Order went quickly and easily from the board. Carhop arrived a view minutes later with the food. One good, wrong for the chicken tenders, quickly rectified. Burger was a bit dry, hot dog was right, chicken went down easy. Shakes were on par. Lotta food, big tab, but card swipe worked and carhop had the condiments with here and that was a appreciated. read more

Worst Hamburger ever! Served ice cold they must have breathed on it to warm it up. They added lots of mayo, chopped onions, and dead white iceberg lettuce. I had to scrape that crud off or the kids wouldn't eat it. Even the pickle slices were awful tasting. Service was snail slow and not many people in line. Wish I had read the yelp reviews before visiting. Sorry we stopped here, this is unlike other Sonic's I have been to. Yuck! read more

Although the staff is friendly here I feel as though they aren't detail oriented. My order is almost always wrong when I come here. They have no problem charging me for added cheese but they ALWAYS forget to add it. And when I order a plain cheeseburger it comes with every thing on it. It's frustrating because you don't get what you pay for. They should pay more attention to their orders. It wasn't even busy today. read more

Went through drive-thru because had heard the drive up, carhop delivery was horrible. Got a Sonic Burger meal with fries. Nothing special, better that McDonalds next door, but nothing to write home about. Drive Thru service was quick and speedy, although not very personable. None of the normal "hi" or "have a nice day" when was at the window. Was strictly business, "your total is...", "here's your change". Thats it. All the times I've been there my order has been screwed up. And they are very very simple orders. I've ordered a cheese burger with ketchup only. I don't know how much simpler that could be. How much of a dipshit can you be. But when I got it, it was packed with everything on it. Or when I ordered something else they only gave half of my shit. Better off just saving your money. Or just go anywhere else but here to eat. And the customer service...you can find more personality in a cemetery. And when I got my food they might as well as just thrown it me. I'm not the type to write 1 star reviews, however, I've gone to sonic basically a hundred time mainly for their slushies especially in the summer atleast once a week.. until I found a massive hairball In my Root Beer Float. A few days ago, I grabbed a root beer float, after drinking all the soda I was working on the ice-cream with a straw at night. My straw got obstructed "thinking it was ice cream" all of a sudden a huge hair ball shot to the back of my mouth following with a bunch of long hairs... absolutely disgusting. I pulled the hairball out of my mouth, It was almost like someone pulled hair off a hairbrush and put it in my drink. It was DEFINITELY intentional. I will never go to a sonic ever again after this, and I tried everything I could to not puke on the highway. I continued to gag for the next few days after thinking about it. Do not go to this SONIC.
