First of all I like Sonic's, but I was a little disappointed when I ordered the sauced jumbo popcorn chicken for the first time this week. It has it advertised as the chicken covered in sauce and looking delicious. Which I am all for, so of course I had to pull up and order some of that. But, my excitement was short lived after the carhop handed me my food, left and there I was ready to be greeted by this saucy goodness. Instead, it looked like they put my jumbo popcorn chicken in a paper tray and then suddenly remembered oh yeah, the customer ordered the sauced ones and gave it a quick squirt of sauce. Overall, Sonic gets it right the food comes out lightning fast. The car hops are very friendly and helpful. I usually receive my food in under four minutes, and the establishment that I frequent is very family, friendly, and beautiful with the addition of flowers. read more

I don't want all the extra complications, but continuous stuff we got. -pulling in and out of ordering spaces, because multiple intercoms were down. -order taker reiterated our order and it was still made incorrect. -no napkins with our food. The burger was good, so that made me feel slightly better. But I regret ordering those weird tasting onion rings. It reminded me of a sweet funnel cake batter; glad I tried it, but not again. Came to sonic to treat our kids to some ice cream. Out our order in and paid. It said on the screen that Lauren was delivering our order. At least 10 mins passed...a car pulled in beside us, ordered, and received their FOOD order before we received 1 shake and 3 blasts. Finally she comes, all of our ice cream is melted so obviously it's been sitting awhile. She was very short and hustled off as soon as we got our stuff because she knew we were annoyed. The service was subpar. I asked for1 cheeseburger, and 2 bacon burgers, one with ketchup and one without. They brought our burgers with no bacon and ketchup on both. No napkins given. The onion rings taste like funnel cake batter. Asked for ketchup for them didn't come out until I had to ask again. Overall my cheeseburger was good.... And they were not busy. IMO, to write a review about a chain fast-food restaurant is pointless. Unlike a local family run establishment that a good or bad review can make a huge difference, a review for a chain will most likely go on deaf ears. With that said, I read the reviews for this particular Sonic and although I saw some bad ones I opted to go there anyway. I'm in town for one night only and I figured that out of the hundreds of customers they have every day what are the odds of my order getting messed up in any way. Well, guess what? If Vegas had odds on this I would have won big. Yep, my order was messed up. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and asked for it to only have ketchup on it. I don't like raw tomatoes on my burgers and I can't take mayo on it either. Sadly they ignored my request and it wasn't until I got back to the hotel to discover they messed up. This is literally the worst sonic I've ever been to. Almost every time I come here, something is wrong. The drinks are all carbonation and no flavor. Almost every time I have to send it back. In the drive thru we wait because every car has to send something back in to get fixed. I parked one time to order and the screen never prompted me to pay (after 20-25 min) I clicked again. They made my food but lost track of where it went. They had to remake it. The employees have a good attitude and always fix it, but you can see them arguing through the window. First of all, the customer service here is terrible. While trying to place our order, they cut me off before I was done. Then I tried to call back to complete my order and they wouldn't answer, then they didn't even give us the correct order after I went over the flavors a few times. We ended up leaving at this point because I wasn't going to wait another 10 minutes to fix my placed order. I do NOT recommend going here, they all need retrained in their jobs, and that is coming from a few of us that have come here. ETA: Our order was less than $3 and we gave them a $10. I'm trying to understand whether they ran out of snicker pieces or if they misunderstood the difference between extra and minimal, but I paid for a snicker blast with extra snicker pieces and no whipped cream. Unfortunately, I received ice cream with what seemed to be a bite sized snicker crushed up and hidden throughout the cup. Last time I'll spend money on a blast from this location.
