1) I ordered on the mobile site on New Years 2) I waited for a little while and got the WRONG order back. 3) I waited for another 15 minutes for workers to figure things out. 4) I was respectful and courteous, whochis not the norm for disgruntled customers. 5) I did NOT get any discounts or comped items like would be normal behavior on a manager's part when an issue is made. Instead, you probably violated health codes when you took the incorrect items back into your entity. 5) I was given expired vouchers for a free mini sonic blast. Okay, I don't like to write bad reviews but how does one order a double bacon cheeseburger and get no cheese and no bacon?? Why call it a bacon cheeseburger? I asked for no tomatoes. Went to Sonic tonight after ordering online. Followed the instructions and pulled into a drive-in stall and pressed the red button as instructed. I told the man my name and he said "We're only doing drive through." I said "But I ordered online." He said "You have to pick it up in drive through." Just before I pulled out to get in the drive through line I noticed an employee with a bag from the nearby grocery store sit down at an outside table. I went to the drive through and waited. After a car in front of me pulled forward I spoke into the microphone ordering box, once again giving my name and stating I ordered online. The voice there asked for my name again. After a minute or so he asked again, and asked what I ordered. I told him -- two combos, one with onion rings, one with tots, two shakes. He said he saw the order. So I waited some more for the car in front of me to pull around the corner towards the drive through window. There were some three cars ahead of me. The line went very slowly. Finally I was one car back from the window. The car in front waited, and waited, and waited, and then finally gave up and drove away. I pulled to the window. The guy who had been "on break" came to the window. I asked what was going on. He said there were only two people working, and he had been on break. The other guy had to cook and wait on people and take orders. He asked me my name, and then handed me some other person's order. I gave it back to him, repeated my name again, and he went to look for the order which had apparently been under the heat lamps for quite some time. 45 minutes had passed since I got in the drive through line. He handed me a shake, which spilled all over the center console of my car (my fault, maybe -- those styrofoam cups are flimsy). He asked if I wanted some napkins. I said YES, I WANT SOME NAPKINS and started to mop up the car. He handed me the other shake, and the bag of burgers, tots, and onion rings. I asked for my receipt. He couldn't find it. He asked if I had gone to a stall, I said yes, he said he couldn't find my name but since I had my food things were good. Only been to this one on Cooper Point twice in the past 3 or 4 months. First time it literally took about 45 minutes. It wasn't peak busy hours either. It was only 9 pm. There were probably 4 or 5 other cars max. Today I pulled up to the drive-thru box. Sat there for about 5 minutes and didn't hear a peep. Pulled out of line and drove up to the parking stall box. Took about 2 minutes for someone to come on and say that due to low staffing, only the drive-thru is open. This was at 3 pm on a Monday holiday. This place needs to get their act together. read more

For spending 50$ you would hope they would make the effort to get the order correct. Ordered a cheeseburger w/ no bun, had a bun on it. 4 orders of chicken tenders and I reiterated the sauce we need. Not one order came with sauce, which made the horribly dry tenders worse. Barely any fries or tots came with it. All of it was stale and lukewarm. Every drink order was wrong. I love sonic but overall what a disappointing experience for the first time coming to this location. I didn't understand what was going on in the screen and asked for an explanation and she just responded with attitude about it saying IDK. I am partially blind and things are not as clear to me so I asked so I could understand instead she just gave me unnecessary attitude saying "well uh I saved you a dollar and 68 cents." Wow. I read it was the slowest driver thru but I didn't believe it. It truly is the SLOWEST DRIVE through. Stuck in the line the family had to wait 20 minutes to order and then another 10 minutes at the window to get our order. Others behind us were getting their food in a more timely manner. Once we received are food they added salt to our wounds when the order was WRONG. Son ordered a cheeseburger with no vegetables. He received the vegetables but no cheese. Other son ordered the boneless buffalo wings that had little to no sauce. My Coney dog wasn't a true Coney dog but a chili dog. Thirty minutes for fast food doesn't equal fast food. We should have left when we were waiting and could have pulled around but it was my son's graduation and he wanted Sonic's cheeseburger to celebrate. I went to order through drive thru I normally have had no issues with Sonic except for the time it takes for my meal which I expect. I am waiting and hear the drive thru person saying through the intercom horrible things about the person in front of me. I don't know if that person was horrible to them but just that I heard them was inappropriate. I let the person at drive thru know that they were heard in case the customer yells at them. I get told to mind my own business and if I don't do so then they were refusing to serve me. I tried as a courtesy to give them a heads up and then I get yelled at. that is absurd. I did not yell. When I got to the drive thru box there was no greeting. I checked the hours of operation on my phone and it said they were open until 11pm. It was only 9:48pm at the time. I waited and waited, even saying hello into the box a few times, with no response. I then drove up to the window where I could see at least 6 people inside clustered around on a far corner away from the window. A couple of the workers saw me and I could see they said "Someone at the window." Complete disappointment. Warning: The commercials are infinitely better than the food at Sonic. We were on our way to the coast last night, so we stopped at Sonic because we wanted something quick so we could get back on the road. And we'd never been to a Sonic. I doubt we'll ever go back. I did have some kind of iced coffee thing (Coffee Twist?) that was really good. But it wouldn't warrant going back. The boneless wings were a hot mess. The extra crispy chicken strip basket included 'NOT' crispy chicken. There was no onion ring, as indicated on the menu. The Texas Toast wasn't seasoned in any way, and soggy. The tater tots were - remarkably - the best part of our meals. Here's a new one - we were given a packet of ranch dressing that had been OPENED! Are you kidding me? It had been open a while too - the top of the ranch had congealed and had a crispy edge. Of course, you're 3 blocks away and getting on a freeway on-ramp before you figure that out. I'd like to give that fourth star, but the service is just too inconsistent. This is the 4th time I've tried to order the Oreo Dark Chocolate Custard Concrete, and the 2nd time it's come out practically vanilla for lack of dark chocolate powder (and I know it's a flavored powder, because I've gotten one before that had enough powder, but was not thoroughly blended). Having been raised in the south, custard was a pretty common thing, so when Sonic added it to the menu I was excited; It's a little harder to find in the Pacific Northwest.
