Waiting almost 6-7 minutes to order and then waiting 25 minutes for our food is completely unacceptable. The cherry on top is that I got a bunch of attitude from the server when I asked her to stay while I checked to make sure the order was right so that I didn't have to wait to try to get someone to fix it. I've always said that sonic has slow service, but this was a new low. We spent 10 minutes at a car hop, and realized it was probably broken. So we went to another spot and waited another 10 minutes and no one talked to us. Finally we went through the drive through and waited another 10 minutes. The order was simple. One large tot, one large sweet tea, one large fry, one medium diet cherry slush. The only reason for 2 stars was the server was super nice. When she saw my drink leaking she took it back and fixed it. So, large tot was good. Large fry was cold and the fries were under cooked. They were mealy and gross. On Vacation and needed a quick meal. Grabbed sonic on the way to our room. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, added cheese and bacon for an upcharge. Horrible customer service. Several times they have gotten my order wrong and instead of fixing it, I get someone informing me I'm wrong and it's right or I didn't tell them what I wanted when I did. What happened to the customer being right? Maybe in old school but after having spent YEARS myself nn the past working in the restaurant business I have to say they have forgotten how to care for their guest....driving or not....customer service matters. So we understand pigeon forge in general is busy....however. We stopped at Sonic today & went through the drive thru...we sat at the speaker literally 5 minutes. Never did anyone speak, so we assume it's not working. We pull around to the window (which was backed up so w waited another 5-6 minutes). A lady comes out with an order & asks if it's ours...nope. We told her we haven't even ordered yet...no empathy statement at all.....finally at the window....the girl never once looks up. So after a couple minutes later she sees me shrugging my shoulders as if "ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR CUSTOMERS!" She asked if we ordered this or that....nope. Haven't ordered. She seemed very annoyed that we just pulled around. Nothing. She was by far the rudest in apologetic service person I've ever encountered. Empathy goes a long way Sonic. Train your employees better. Waited about 1-2 minutes after pushing the button at the parked order areas and no reply. We then waited about 2-3 minutes at the drive through speaker with no answer. Drove up and the guy who greeted us was nice, but how could you not know someone is waiting? We ordered and they had to repeat it back to us a couple times before getting it right. We're waiting for our drinks and a different girl comes up and asks for our receipt because, yet again, they had to double check our order. We ordered 5 drinks! No food. Unsure of why they were unaware of us being there and unable to take our drink orders with ease. They gave us a drink for free but still...if you're gonna have half price drinks be ready to take drink orders! read more

This is probably the worst sonic I have ever been too. Went to outside kiosk to order and they said we had to go through the drivethrough. We then went to the drivethrough and sat there for about 20 minutes before driving up to the window, and it's noteworthy that other people had got their meals from the kiosk. We then proceed to go up to the window only to be told that we had to order back at the drivethrough. Then we sat for another 40 minutes at window till we could get our food. Chicken nuggets were hard and grilled cheese burnt. The best thing I had was a root beer float which I would say tasted average

Didn't have ice cream or mozzarella sticks. Claim to be out of all items we needed before we ever even asked. Hmmmmmm.

I love Sonic so much but today the service really sucked, my family and I literally waited 10 minutes to order our food.. and then while ordering the server kept interrupting us saying "I can't hear you" causing me to literally get out of my vehicle. Kept messing up the order while we were still ordering and now we're still waiting for our food after nearly 10 minutes! Won't be coming back here! Worst Sonic ever! My family has eaten at dozens of Sonic restaurants all across the country and we have always had a nice experience... until now. Wow, this place is terrible. We tried two stalls, the drive through and waited over 20 minutes and they wouldn't take our order. We spoke to two different employees and the manager, still nothing. Can't use mobile pay cause the staff doesn't know how. Also the lady who helped me was so worried about keeping the restaurants order and delivery times down that she ordered it then immediately went and clicked it as delivered so I could not pay at the stall or on mobile pay. Then she made the drink and delivered it 10 minutes later. Only to then learn I could not pay because she kept me from it. I understand working on your delivery times but to immediately click it delivered prevents the customer from paying. It also meant after food was delivered I had to wait longer because I had to pay another way and she had to take the card inside. That is unacceptable to me there is a reason this is not the normal because that is how card info is stolen. This location needs to train staff, needs to update the signs at the car stalls and needs to follow the set procedures of the company which is not order, mark delivered, then make food and drink. read more

The worst service. I have been to this location multiple times and the outcome continues to be the same. IF you can get someone to take your order you'll still have to wait forever for your food. I once waited over 30 minutes for a bag of ice. In another instance I also waited over 20 minutes just to get someone to take my order (trying in the drive thru and in the pull-up stalls) to no avail. I am a local and will gladly go other places because of how terrible the service is there. After multiple attempts and chances, I will never go back there. read more
