Went thur the drive thur. order chicken fingers plus hamburger meal. We gave her the money 25.00 cash. The bill was 21.50. Ask the for honey mustard, and didn't get it told her twice. Then I ask about my changes. Then she gave me a dirty look like I was gonna give her a $4.50 dollar tip for drive-through . I believe in tipping if someone waits on me and at the restaurant, I tip well but not at a drive-through. I am wrong. I tip car hops. Plus got the bottom of the French fries too! read more

I read someone complained about the wait time, lmaoo, thats ridiculous. You are at the beach sir! its 105 degrees out there, you want to get something cold at SONIC ? so does everyone else! anyway, we ordered a bunch of slushies, ice cream and cheese fries with jalapeños the 4 times we visited while staying in RP for the week. All visits were great, good food and really nice employees and waited no more then 20 mins every time. read more

Not a good experience. Came from out of town. Our sonic is always great... this one is like the ugly red headed step sister. Ordered a waffle cone to find out that they charged us for a coke instead... after correcting him and saying we didn't order a coke we ordered a waffle cone this man looks at us like we grew another head... apparently their machine is down and apparently I'm supposed to know that. Come in for happy hour drinks. I don't think I'll be back. Main concern for stopping in was looking for a restroom and a drink. The restroom facilities were sorely out of order. The women's restroom was completely shut down because the place was so trashed. The women had to use the men's. The drink I got was mostly ice, but fortunately, there were three cherries floating in my Cherry Lime Slush. The ice cream shake that my dining companion got wasn't mixed thoroughly, and there were no ingredients near the bottom. The staff was friendly, but it took much longer than expected for the drinks and ice cream to arrive. The ordering menu sign was partially broken, and the innards were exposed. This isn't the nicest Sonic I've seen. There are plenty of other places in Rockport to grab a soda, and I'd recommend checking those out. read more

Didn't get a refund for the blast I ordered they didn't have ice cream whip cream or m&ms and couldn't refund me the money took over 20 minutes to bring out the drinks and didn't tell Me until last minute they didn't have the blast everyone is on the phone and the screen said someone was on their way with my order and they never came out I had to press the button twice for some service and nothing this place fucking sucks read more

So been there like 4 times in last 3 months. Start out at the car hop spaces where upon we are informed that because of covid19 there were no car hops and we needed to go through the drive through. After waiting in the line of cars for half an hour we get to the drive up window to be informed that the ice cream machine was broken, which is basically half of the menu at Sonic. Why would anyone go to a sonic if they weren't after ice cream? Go suck a dick Rockport Sonic. I'm over it. Get with the program. read more

We are at this Sonic every day for drinks. Staff is friendly. We got a chicken strip basket once months ago. Chicken was very small and not good. Today we ordered 4 corn dogs. They were absolutely horrible. Wiennie was brown, corn meal on it was very old and tough. Tasted all 4 thinking maybe just one or 2 was bad. Threw all 4 to the seagulls. I have ordered this same stuff at other Sonics it was always good. Had never had a bad experience until now. That's why I didn't leave a bad review months ago. Figured food can be bad once in a while. But staff is always very friendly read more

This sonic never has ice cream for about a month now. We waited 30mins in line for broken down ice cream machine. The staff was a bit rude about the machine being down... please get it together before we all go to DQ for better food and ice cream. read more

It's a typical Sonic menu, and the staff is friendly & usually efficient. They can be SLOW during Happy Hour, right after school or during the lunch rush. Food is good -- I've never had a bad meal or incorrect order, albeit I usually do not place difficult custom orders. Be sure you ask for "easy ice" if you don't want 80% ice and 20% drink. read more

I have been here 4 times over this year, 3 times just getting a drink or two. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been forgotten about. People come and go and have ordered large bags of food while I wait 20 minutes for a Powerade or 2 slushes. I have to hit the call button and remind them I exist. I get streamed with apologies, which I appreciated the first two times, but I seriously have never had a timely order here, and when I ordered food, they forgot about 2 items entirely, which were on the ticket. read more

Waited twenty minutes for two small coffees and a large coffee. Pushed the button after 10 minutes of waiting for them to tell us they were making a "fresh" pot. Ten minutes later they bring our coffees out, one without a straw, no creamer, no sugar, after three trips of bringing us our full items and order they handed us a voucher for "$5 of free coupons" aka spend x get x free. What can I say? It's a Sonic. The staff are half totally awesome, and half total grumps. They do, however, give you bigger portions than most and their tots taste way better than some other Sonics I've been to. read more

This is by far the worst SONIC I've ever been to. Took them 30 minutes to answer the Drive-thru, 5 cars left behind me, with four cars in front. We waited 25 minutes after we ordered, our order was all wrong... but we didn't want to correct it all since it took so long. The girl at the window took her sweet time while sipping on her own drink before she got us our drink they forgot. Our food tasted like old grease and was cold. This poor Sonic - don't know why, but they have problems. We used the drive-thru. My husband had to turn off our truck (not deisel) and stand right next to the speaker box to hear and be heard by the person taking our order. We almost got the wrong drinks, and one of our hamburgers was wrong when we got home. Lastly, the wait to get thru the drive-thru was longer than it should have been.
