Service is slow to non existent. As I write this I've been waiting 25 minutes for Food!

the service was better than average but I always remembered sonic having good burgers. Today it tasted like I was back in school eating a public school burger. disappointing read more

Nothing fast food about this sonic! Staff moves around like they are on a bunch of downers.

Got to Sonic at 8:50 and ordered a milkshake in one of the drive up stalls... We waited for almost 30 minutes. After being there for 15 mins we saw the milkshake sitting on the counter, but the employees were too busy taking the trash out and cleaning up to bring it to us. There was no one waiting in the drive through either. Continued waiting and one of the employees proceeded to sit down on a bench outside and start texting on her phone. On top of that, there was a child walking around barefooted with her hair down inside of the kitchen. We never did get the one shake that we ordered. read more

Honestly we pulled away before we could even order last night and went to arbys because we could over hear the things that were being said to others in front of us. Oh then they said there was a fire or something. Pretty ridiculous. read more

Had dinner here and everything from the cold fries to the wrong burger I ordered a double with onions and lettuce knots I didn't order to cold chicken tenders and cold ass tots for my kids my wife's food sucked just the same but at least her sandwich don't have saggy bread dinner here just straight sucked the trash u go sonic read more

This sonic literally sucks!! Every time I got there for a slushee after dark they say their slushee machine is down but then it's back up running again the next day. They're so annoying and honestly just lazy asf. They don't close til 11 but yet your slushee machine is down. Suck suck suck!!! Just close down already or hire new employees. Wish there was a corporate number I could call cause this is ridiculous read more

o whom this concerns; Let me say that I eat at sonic a lot. Today is the first time that it took us 45 minutes to get a hamburger...'my order' was brought out within 10 minutes, but my friends was forgotten and she ordered at the same time I ordered. After the 30 minutes, she buzzed them again asked how much longer. The person said that they were bagging it up...After 15 more minutes went by, I decided to call them on the phone from our stall. It took all that to get it...I politely said we were just thinking it may have been forgotten...The employee said they were making sure the meat was done...Honey, the tots, the burger was cold...45 minutes for a cold meal. or was she saying the wagu meat takes 45 minutes to cook...if they were making sure the meat was done,,,why was it cold...... read more

Sonic Drive-In - Fast Food Near Me - Thomasville, Georgia

Wow, just spent 30 minutes in a stall waiting for a drink order, got a partial refund and waited another 10 minutes for a receipt of the refund before having to literally get out of the car and walk up to speak to an employee to get the receipt. Tried speaking to a manager and spoke to someone who refused to identify themselves or give us a store number or anyone to call to complain. Horrific experience when all I wanted was a simple drink after a day of outside lawn work around my home. read more

I placed my order through the drive thru. First of all, it took the woman about 2 minutes to take my order. There was not anyone waiting at the window nor was there anyone in front of me. When I arrived at the window, there were I assume employees walking around in street clothes helping themselves to drinks. From the window, the floor was filthy. The employees were more concerned about talking amongst themselves than they were helping me. When I finally got my order, mozzerella sticks and a strawberry limeade, it was disguising. The sticks tasted like old oil and the limeade did not have any fizz and tasted like pure syrup. I am throroughly disappointed with my visit. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Absolutely the worst drive thru service I have ever to. How can they have people waiting 25 minutes on line when there are only 3 cars in the drive thru?! And food is shitty too. I typically am aware of the nearly 30 minute wait, so if ever I go to this location, I at least know what I'm getting into. What I didn't expect was for the cashier to try and steal my cash. We tried to make clear that we were paying with $11 cash first, and the rest of our total on my card. She seemed extremely confused by this, but after explaining it 3 times, she finally understood. She took the cash and then instructed us to swipe our card on their new card swiper. Unfortunately, she didn't account for the cash I handed her and it charged my card the full amount. It wouldn't have been an issue, because I was simply trying to use the cash up first, but when my phone notified me that I had been charged the whole amount of my total, I confronted her to simply remedy the problem or just get my cash back. But, to my surprise, she pulled my cash out of her apron pocket and apologized for the inconvenience. I usually don't fuss over things as menial as $11 and fast food, but wow. Some balls. Young, blonde haired gal supposedly name Megan, y'gotta be slicker than that. I was okay with the terrible customer service and the long waits when I wasn't in a hurry to be anywhere, but I don't ever really expect to have my money pocketed by employees. Good job, Sonic. Sonic Drive- Thru weI used to Love coming here and getting a burger and and a shake. Until I bit into a metal bread tie. I called the franchise number and I left a very detailed message, also letting them know that I had plenty of pictures and could take the food back if they needed it. Well No one called as we had suspected. A simple we are sorry would have made a huge difference, but acting like it did not happen is just stupid. They cleanness of the store is going down and some of the servers need some serious attitude checks. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! 3rd time in a row I've tried going and using the mobile app. It's always at least a month before I return as my experience is so terrible each time. Each time the app works fine and then I go check in at the restaurant. Each time I check in and then it has taken in excess of 30 minutes to get my order. Tonight really took the cake though as I did not get my food for 45 minutes when my screen told me someone was going to bring out my hot food a full 35 Minutes beforehand. I continued to press the call button to attempt to get someone's attention and they were ignored and cancelled by the staff inside. The runner finally came out after 40 minutes, WITHOUT my food, and said oh we're sorry your food has been ready for over 30 minutes but we thought you were on the patio EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO CHECK INTO A STALL with an attached number. Management doesn't care about the incompetence of the staff nor do they offer to make anything right. I asked if my food was going to be hot after 30 minutes of sitting and they said it "would be fine as it had been under a heat lamp." No offer to remake it. When I pressed further they said I could bring it back if it was cold and they would remake it then. After 40 minutes of waiting already AND STILL having no food (as the runner still had to go back and get it) I simply got my food and left. Lo and behold, my ORDER WAS WRONG. I was missing several requested sauces, the size of my sides was wrong and my food was cold. As I said, this is the 3rd time in a row I've encountered this and my prior experiences in the drive thru were only marginally better. Enough is enough, I will not be returning unless someone new takes over this location and brings at least a smidgeon of accountability for the staff. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to my worst enemy. read more

I'd give less if I could. Recently I found an item I enjoyed. I ordered it the second time, the exact same order. The price was less. I asked abt the difference. They had rung it incorrectly & as I had paid w/ my card I got cash from an ATM as they said they could not ring the difference up to put on my card. I also quickly tired of hearing the poor girl say "she'd just pay it out of her own wallet". The third time I tried to order this they charged me the larger price & gave me the smaller item. I'm not going back for the change! This is not unusual. I took my 80 yr old mother there for a specific treat, they were out, but w/ the card reader in drive thru, you scan your card before you speak to the cashier. She acted as if it was my fault that she didn't get to tell me in time they were out of the item. My mother chose something else. Hers was supposed to be a small of what she ordered, mine was to be a med of another item. They mixed that up also. Needless to say, I'm done. And it doesn't seem to do a lot of good to talk to mgmt. Regional is nice but nothing changes but the faces. read more

If I could rate it less than 1 star, I would. Absolutely, positively and no doubt about it, the worst service, the most rude girl at the counter and slamming the window in my face will make me never go back. She wanted me to pull up and she would come get my order in a minute after I had already waited 20 minutes because she had the order ready for the guy behind me ready. Are you kidding?
