Blast, my ass! I ordered a cookie dough with added Oreo and got ice cream with a few flakes of Oreo speckled in. The top had some cookie dough and Oreo but nothing passed that! And even with that I paid extra to have Oreo ADDED to my cookie dough. Not the same amount on top split half and half. This Sonic might be the worst one i've been too! They claim that their curb side ordering is not working without any signs being up, but 5 minutes later their suddenly working again??? Pure laziness at its finest. We had to wait in a 20+ minute line and had to wait another 5 minutes for my drinks. Just awful and embarrassing. Also to add 2 employees went out on their phones and went on a smoke break, knowing that it was very busy and prob peak hours. First time to a Sonic and it was beyond DISAPPOINTING... where do i even start..?? Went through the drive-thru since there were no spots available for drive-up & park orders. That in itself was a disaster. The person who took our order asked us to drive forward and wait... and wait we did... and waited... and waited... and... 15 minutes later, they figured out they owed us some food that we paid for. Server brought out our food, no drinks. Didn't realize that they were suppose to give them to us when we paid. SInce we were holding up the line, we told the server we were going to park and to bring our drinks to us. We showed him the FIRST spot directly in front of where we were. Again... we waited and waited and oh... and waited. I finally got out and walked up the server's door to get our drinks. When I got back to the car, I found out that one of the three burgers we ordered didn't have the actual burger patty in it. That's a first and on top of it, didn't have the tater tots we ordered. AGAIN... I walked up to the service door. Told them we were missing a burger patty and the tater tots. This time, I told them I would wait right were I was. They came out in a few minutes and handed me a bag. It had the burger but NO TATER TOTS. How difficult can this be, seriously?? When I finally had the chance to sit down and eat, I found that the regular sized chili cheese fries I ordered were nothing but that... they were 8 dried up, cold fries (yes, i counted) stuck to the bottom of the paper dish w/ hard cheese. As for the bathrooms? NASTY, NASTY, NASTY. Did I mention NASTY?? It was so bad, I made my husband take us back to Great Wolf Lodge to use the bathrooms even though we had just checked out. So for my first experience at Sonic, it was the worse. Great commercials. Terrible service. Hoping that other ones will be better but I definitely will NOT be returning to this one and I strongly urge others to find somewhere else to eat. Why would you eat here when there are much better options from local restaurants nearby? Like many chain fast food restaurants, the service can be unreliable, spotty, or just plain bad. The food is probably average for chain burgers and fried, but if the onion rings are regularly bad (cold and/or hard as though they were made an hour earlier and left to sit out) why would you return? I gave this Sonic a couple chances a few months apart and I won't be returning, no matter how much a dining companion may ask. The flavored lime-aid was good, but not enough to get me back to this drive-in. For nearby alternatives, try Pierce's Pit BBQ a couple miles down Rochambeau for burgers, BBQ, & homemade desserts or the Queen Anne Dairy Snack for burgers, sandwiches, fried food, shakes, softserv, etc. Both also have outdoor seating, but no carhop. Just get out of your car--I think you'll agree the steps were worth it for fresher and better food. read more

I've always had a pleasant experience at the Sonics I've been. This had quick service and friendly people. The restroom was relatively clean too. This Sonic is conveniently located next to a super Walmart, so if you've forgotten some things for your road trip, like I did, it was great to pop over and buy incidentals and random snacks. read more

Sonic has delicious food. Tasty burgers, hot dogs, chili cheese bits, and of course, the most wonderful slushees and ice cream desserts to be had. I always save room for sweets. Sonic gets five starts for their food, and ten stars for their sweets! This particular Sonic suffers in its service. They are a bit slow and careless, i.e., dropping food, delivering the wrong items. I love Sonic. This was the first one I ever ate at (many moons ago) ad I still come back. The service is always friendly and quick. This particular location has a TON of tables which is great if you want to get out of your car (just don't park in the bays if you plan to eat at a table during the busiest part of the season). My only complaint (and this is for all Sonics), it is impossible to read the menu from the passenger side of the vehicle. Betwixt the angle, glare and small print it is nearly impossible. While the ads on the back of the signs might entice some folks to try the desserts that are advertised, it would be a great place to put some of your (higher priced - from an advertising POV) regular meal options so that I could decide what I wanted without having to crawl into the driver's lap. Pretty standard sonic but some really great employees. We were sitting out in the picnic area with our dog and skated all the way over and checked on us later. My large tots were not filled the well and he brought us some more for free. I never know if you are supposed to tip them but we did in this case. Problem was after having chickfila a few days earlier the extra crispy nuggets were weak and tasted like the frozen Tyson's ones. My husband and I have been to many Sonics before and this is hands down the worst one we've been to. We sat for 25 minutes for our food (which was a milkshake, slush, hot dog and fries). Reviews for the Sake of Reviewing: Don't be foolish. If you end hitting the service button for over 10 minutes and still nothing happens ... then try pulling into another station. Sonic offers the "novelty" of ordering from your car and eating while parked (as opposed to eating while driving off). The burgers are average as well as anything off the menu. What I do like about Sonic is that you can order so many items for just $1. In fact, we managed a midnight snack for 2 that included a drink, a burger, a Frito wrap, tatter tots, and a sundae - all for just $5.45 (including tax). It's quite the bargain actually. You're wondering what a Frito wrap is. Well, its a tortilla with a layer of chili and a handful of Frito chips.
