I love sonic, but do not go to this one unless you want to wait 30-45 minutes for your food even when it isn't busy. That was my experience today with 2 cars in front of me in the drive thru. The employees here have always been friendly but they are not set up to win whatsoever. Seems like no more than 2 people are ever working. They need to hire more people because they are easily losing out on more overall from people leaving after not seeing the drive thru move for 10 minutes. I witnessed a customer get out of his truck and curse out the employees for this today so it's no wonder that they don't have anyone working when those are the conditions. I wouldn't recommend doordashing it either because no driver is going to sit in line that long not getting paid. When you do get your food it will be cold or melted. This business has to hire more people to improve the service or it should close. read more

Do not eat here if you wish to enjoy food with your friends, only if you're single or social distancing. Also, AVOID the short haired woman, worst customer service and food in Nassau. read more

I cannot stand how slow this sonic is. I pressed the button over 5 minutes ago. Still waiting. The drive is emptied and there are 2 other empty cars in the parking lot. This happens all the time. They are sooooo slowwwwww. Every single time. What the heck are they doing. They always come in and say sorry about the wait. I just looked inside and they are literally ignoring the button. We ordered 5 different shakes and slushes. It took well over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive at our vehicle. When the employee arrived, one milkshake was completely wrong. Also, we were missing a normal sweet tea drink. The lady went back in and we waited another 10 minutes. The slushes we ordered were not frozen and seemed to be sitting for a while. read more

My kids and I liked going to Sonic as a treat on Saturdays, and the service has just been steadily going downhill. Last weekend was the breaking point and I'm definitely going to stay away for awhile now. I ordered online via the app while still at my daughter's dance school. Dance ends at 11:30, so I opted for a 12:15 pick up time (which is plenty of time and more to get from Sadler to Sonic!). I got there at 12, so super early, and checked in. Didn't expect whatsoever to have my food prior to 12:15, but figured I'd check in just in case they could get to it earlier. I finally had to use the call button (which took multiple tries--don't know if it's broken or they were just opting to ignore me) to ask what was up with my order. It was already 12:30 and I didn't have any of the food yet. When someone finally answered I stated the issue and that my order was for 12:15 and I'm still sitting there fifteen minutes later. Magically they said "Oh she's coming with your food now." - judging from the coldness of everything, I'm fairly certain our food was made when the order was placed and sat and was forgotten about for at a minimum thirty minutes. No apologies, nothing. Jusr gave us the cold food and left. Consistently the wait time has been getting worse- even with an empty parking lot and drive thru line. This was by far the worst though. There's also a young lady there who has the absolute worst attitude. She's rude and snotty, and I've thought twice about calling and making a complaint. On a previous visit SHE forgot part of our order, and then asked if we wanted her to go get it (why wouldn't I want what I paid for?)... When we said yes she audibly sighed and rolled her eyes before going to get it. I know these are teens and most likely their first jobs but that's no excuse for the managers to not police these children and teach them to act respectful. Sonic you need to get your act together. This sonic doesn't have that 'Sonic' experience like any other sonics I go to... Employees act like they don't want to work.. They go on the intercom like we are bothering them from their gossip time.. A couple of times I've been here, I've had food that was undercooked and had to send it back.. This place has horrible service. There was evidence of drug use by staff as well. I would avoid this place like the plague. Don't believe me? Read the food inspection report with a staggering 16 violations. It's amazing these guys are in business. Time to wipe the slate clean, employees and all, and start over Sonic. read more

Employees are usually friendly, the only downfall is they are SUPER SLOW. The food is average for what you'd expect from a fast food chain open till 12am. read more

Disappointing. It seems like service continually gets worse and after today's visit we will not be visiting this Sonic again. Not only was the wait incredibly slow, the carhop taking the order was rude and did not listen causing us to repeat the order numerous times. This place use to be one of our favorite quick treat go to, sadly not any longer. Instead of upgrading the outside maybe they should upgrade customer service. Honestly, I always have a poor experience here and I can't tell you why I keep going back. They are always SO slow. I understand places get busy (I work in the food industry) but there are always people standing around/ stretches out leaning over the counter and who I suppose is a manager(?) over in the corner in their phone when you get to the window while the line is wrapped around the building. When masks were required, they were never wearing them even though the sign on the window said they were taking precautions. Most recently, I went to get an ice cream and only shakes were available. No biggie. I also ordered a large water. I put the straw in, took a sip, and discovered it was soda water. No biggie. I asked for a regular water and handed the cup back. The gentleman helping me took the cup, removed the lid, dumped the soda water, and stuck my cup (that both of our hands had touched and my straw had been inside of) back into the ice and scooped. Hopefully they are washing their hands at some point during their day. read more

all the drive in consoles have been updated. we went to three different drive up windows. none of them worked. we went inside to order and were told they could only take orders at the drive through window. same six cars were waiting at the window. no one had moved in the time we went to three windows, parked elsewhere and went in. we couldn't get out of the lot because the drive through were just sitting there. we eventually got past the line to eat elsewhere. aren't updates to improve service great!!! read more
