Speed of service has definitely increased since last review! We visit here maybe once every week or two and have had exceptional visits every time! We went to the new one close by River City and the food quality did not compare. Still good, but Yulee Culver's food is always hot and fresh whereas the River City was warm. This Culver's has always been such a highlight for my wife and I as we are from the Midwest and greatly enjoy Culver's! Still has the delicious taste even in Florida. Definitely earned the fifth star, speed has improved while taste has still been exceptional! Don't get me wrong, it'll still take a few minutes especially when it's busy, but that's any restaurant! read more

Stopped by the drive thru for a quick lunch - it was pretty busy and we waited for about 10 mins but we didn't mind. My hubby ordered the chicken sammy and I ordered a veggie burger. The veggie burger was OK, not my favorite - made with chickpeas but it lacked flavor. I ordered cheese sauce for my fries but it also lacked flavor. The fries were tasty-crispy and hot. My hubby enjoyed his sammy. Service was VERY friendly. Check it out for yourself next time you're in the area. read more

Had a coupon for a BOGO coupon for a double cheeseburger so I decided to try again after my last visit years ago (see previous review). Late afternoon, so the restaurant was not busy. Delivery took about 15 minutes post order. Burgers were actually hot, fresh and delicious. Would have rated 5-stars but for service. read more

My husband saw an ad for cod sandwich and he wanted to try it. I looked on line at menu and decide a chix cashew salad would be my option with raspberry dressing since dressing can be up to 300 calories! My salad was large, fresh had plenty of cashews and nice piece of chicken for $9. Hubby fish was small, he said tasty but to small..lol! read more

My Mom and I went for early dinner and it was our first time at a Culver's. The parking lot was a bit confusing and so was the menu, so it took us maybe 10 minutes to park and figure out what to order. I had heard the burgers were good, so we both ordered a build your own butter burger with single patties - those were around $4.50 each. It took about 10 minutes for them to bring the burgers to our seats. We were both wanting a light dinner and the single patty was the right size. My Mom liked it because the patties were not thick, but if you are starving you would probably need to order a double. The taste was unique with the sauces and the patty seemed like it was cooked some special way to give it more flavor. The bun also tasted very good. The receipt has a deal for a free cake cone or scoop of custard ice cream with purchase, so we filled that out and got some dessert. Those around around $3.50 each. The custard ice cream is very creamy and flavorful with even the cone being uniquely tasty. The restaurant was very clean in the dining area and also the bathroom. The employees were very nice and attentive. The prices are fair especially if you do the survey coupon on the receipt. I look forward to going again. read more

One of my favorite locations in town, food is always top tier and the custard tastes phenomenal. The drive thru experience can be a hit or miss, sometimes staff will be too slow or confuse my order but it has been a rare occurrence. They need assistance with their drive thru system especially during lunchtime. It holds up the line and we got blocked in one of the lanes even though we already received our food. We had to wait for the person in front of us to get theirs before we could leave and it took awhile. read more

Newly opened. Raved about by people who have been to a Culver's previously. The Facebookers in Yulee go wild every time a new store is announced. Then comes the commentary in droves, dissecting every part of the operation from the drive through, to the food, to the staff. Well this first time at a Culver's was a very good experience. Had the double burger with cheese tomato etc., onion rings and a soda. Burger was better then most all fast food burgers. Onion rings were good. Soda was soda. Enjoyed double scoop ice cream in a dish with mint and and marshmallow along with Snickers. Food was brought to outside table. Will go back as everything added up to a good experience. Oh yeah did not try the cheese curds as I've had cheese curds before and they do not interest my taste buds. read more

I'm a tad embarrassed to say I came to Culver's twice in a week back to back days. Ok, not embarrassed...starving for the fried fish. Wow is the fried cod delicious. With the dinner plate you get 2 sides which you can basically mix and match to whatever Culver's has on the menu. Be patient when you order because everything is cooked when you order and good things come to those that wait. The first night I did a to go order and the second night it was eat in. The fish pieces are really big and not all batter so it is mostly fish. Fries we crinkle cut and crispy and the other side that I shared was broccoli which I shared with the man. The employees at the register are super friendly and the seating area staff is phenomenal- shout out to Kevan for being so personable and welcoming. I did not have a frozen custard on those visit, but during a previous visit I devoured it. I am a very picky person when it come to tartar sauce, a I usually do not like prepackaged TS but Culver's TS is amazing. Who ever does their co-packing is great. Being from out of town we don't have a Culver's where I live so we decided to try it for a quickie dinner. We were immediately welcomed as we walked in the door. We ordered, went to our table and our food was brought to us pretty quickly. The food was decent. Reminds me of a Dairy Queen kinda menu and food. But what got me is the amazing employees and how kind, happy and really seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The restaurant was spotless and the place was fairly busy. Which was shocking considering it was a Monday around 3:30. The portions were good and the price was a little high for what it was. We also ordered the custard flavor of the day. Lemon berry. Wow! It was so good and flavorful! And one scoop in a cup was just the perfect amount! The atmosphere was so good and the employees truly made this visit an absolute 10! I'm not sure what the owner and managers have going on here but whatever it is, keep it up! The staff we had contact with upon ordering, food delivery and the people keeping the restaurant clean were all amazing! I'm here for two weeks and I can guarantee we will be back! I'm visiting the Fernandina Beach area and decided to try Culver's . They not only have really good burgers they have chicken & seafood. I would highly recommend the milkshakes that come in a variety of flavors. My burger & fries came out hot and fresh . Been to this location several times and was always happy. But last night we did the drive thu and were the only car in the drive thru. Ordered two meals and side of cheese curds and about fell out of my truck when they said $33+. Pulled up and paid and pulled up into the lane they specified. Only car there. Two more cars came thru and both ordered, paid, parked and got their food and left before us. Still not a long wait but everyone hates when they see that happen. Burger wasn't as good as in the past. Fish was rubbery and didn't seem to be cooked all the way. Fries were soggy and not the least bit crisp. If I go back I'll just get a burger or something with no sides to save money. Maybe split a meal instead of paying over $33 for two. read more

Pros Food flavor and portions are good 9/10 times. Cons Service (dining in) can be very slow for no obvious reason other than maybe they're more focused on the drive through than those dining in. They like to shut down the inside of the restaurant 1.5-2 hours before closing time. Half or more of the restaurant chairs are already upside down on tables, soda machine gets unplugged at 9 (they close at 10). They come around repeatedly hounding you (aka pushing you to rush and leave) during that last hour. I get wanting to be ready and go home asap, but this is extreme. It smells like mold/mildew around the fountain drink station. I mentioned this to a worker a couple weeks ago and it wasn't as strong tonight, but still smelled. Very unpleasant. Thinking there's a leak along that wall or under the fountain drink machine that needs attention asap. Water from AC vent was dripping on us tonight on the half closest to the entrance/exit that they leave setup the latest. Last two times we ate there, customers with dogs in purses/bags came in and sat at the tables up on benches behind us. Yuck. Happy to have a Culver's close by, but there are several issues needing attention before it gets out of control and loses a decent reputation. read more
