There was a short wait prior to seating. The restaurant was clean, cool and conversational. The server, Tierra (sp), was informative and professional. The order was taken and beverages arrived shortly afterwards. I ordered the enlightened cherry chipotle glazed salmon with couscous and grilled asparagus. The glaze was good: smoky but not too sweet from the cherries. It was a well-balanced blend. The couscous and asparagus were influenced with sun dried tomatoes and were very pleasant. Great lunch stop on my way to the JAX airport. The Tri-tip, shrimp and grilled vegetables made for a fantastic lunch before returning my rental car and boarding my flight home. My server was very prompt and checked up on me often. The interior is the same as every other BJ's I've been in. Lots to choose from on the menu with gluten free options available. The wait staff were pleasant and Bobby was very attentive and helpful. She told us about the rewards app and helped us get signed up. We ordered the kickin' chicken sandwich and the jalapeño burger. Both came out hot and dripping with toppings. Many times menu items don't look like the pictures but both of our sandwiches did! The french fries were hot and crispy with the right amount of salt. The cookie dessert was delish. Went to BJs for lunch today as it is a trusted favorite and generally consistent no matter where I am in the country. Today was sports on all the TVs and the crowd wasn't too loud. Our server Aliah started our experience off on an amazing foot. When she came to the table after she introduced herself she said "may I take your drink order, we have Pepsi products". I have never had a server start off like that and I loved it. It took the guess work and needless bantering out of the experience. That was amazing. Aliah was on the spot and never let our glasses go empty. We enjoyed her very much. I had the southern fried chicken for the first time and it was delicious and juicy, fried to perfection. Just left the restaurant feeling extremely frustrated. Went there with my family to celebrate my birthday especially because I love their pizzookies. It took us 1h to get our food, and other tables that got there way after us got their food first. We asked our server to bring my daughter's sweet tea 3 times and she never got it but was charged for it when we asked for the check. Waiter never mentioned the free pizookie and when we asked for it he never came back. When I asked to speak to the manager, he was too busy to come talk to me. Won't be going there again! read more

We've had an almost uncountable number of average experiences here and far too many bad experiences to ever write them in this place to anyone. Our most recent experience was a to-go order through their website a few weeks ago. The estimated ready time was an hour after we place the order which seemed acceptable for a weeknight. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the scheduled pickup time an hour after our order was placed, the order clearly had not even the gun to be made. In fact, it took another hour after we arrived to get our food all while the restaurant didn't appear to be busy at all. I reached out to corporate and they haven't had the time to reply. I reached out to the restaurant directly since I hadn't heard back from the complaint that I initiated through customer service who indicated that the manager of the restaurant would be calling me within 3-5 business days (a complete and utter lie), on Tuesday September 30th at 4:54 p.m. and spoke with an individual who identified himself as a "senior manager" who, after hearing about the lack of response from his location to the complaint that I had initiated weeks before, decided that the best thing to do would be to hang up on me. Here's a big middle finger to you senior manager and to you also BJ's Restaurant Corporation. You have known of my issue for weeks and have failed to do anything. You don't deserve any business. Not only did the senior manager feel at this store, but every single manager above them failed including the regional manager, Antonio Murillo, who just couldn't stop talking long enough to listen. I truly hope you fail. No one deserves it more. I had the opportunity of speaking with the general manager of this location today. My sole reason, which I communicated, for reaching out to him was to help investigate the communication issues between customer service and their location that have been plaguing me for the past several weeks. I no longer needed to investigate the poor experience I had because that had already been escalated beyond him. The general manager, obviously someone who is full of ego with a huge chip on their shoulder, was incredibly confident in telling me that they were not going to be assisting me with resolving any communication issues. He said that he would only be willing to listen to me about my experience at his restaurant and not about any of the communication issues. Well, that's not why I was calling and you don't get to pick and choose what parts of your job you do. When I speak with your boss I'm going to insist that you are retrained or redirected toward another career.boss is going to be talking to you about what your job is. I suggest that you learn it and stop mistreating your customers. It makes you look horrible professionally and tells everyone that you're a poo. Next time a customer ask you to do your job, why not just do it instead of being a tool? And if nothing else, how about you focus some of that energy on bringing down those 2 HOUR TICKET TIMES. I would be so embarrassed if this happened on my watch. read more

Loved my cocktails I have been to a few of these Brewhouse in different states and cities. Their menu is basically the typical bar fare, though they do add in specials here and there. The jambalaya was a new addition. It was tasty with the New Orleans spices. Nice size portion, too. Avocado Egg Roll was a first for me, a nice option for those who want to eat healthy, or may be a vegetarian. Burger came as ordered-medium rare... It was a slow night, very quiet. Stopped in for lunch with a friend and while we did have to wait a while to be seated bc we could not find the host I was overall impressed with my visit. This large restaurant has both bar and dining room seating that contains both table and booth seating. We were seated in a large booth near the bar. After a short wait, we met our server who was spot on throughout the meal. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger with fries which was the lunch special for the day. My friend opted for a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Our meals were delivered in a timely manner and everything was well cooked. My medium cooked burger had bacon, cheese, LTO, pickle, and some sort of special sauce. My fries were crispy and well salted. When it came time to pay, I was surprised that it was a little over $20 with tip for a burger, fries and soda (btw they have diet Dr Pepper on tap if that is your thing) at a sit down restaurant. I travel weekly for work, and BJ's is usually one of those reliable go-to spots when you're in an unfamiliar area. Unfortunately, this location really missed the mark. Three of us stopped in for dinner around 8:30 p.m. after a long travel day. The restaurant wasn't busy, and our server had just two other small tables. Two of us got our food without any issues--just a sandwich and fish tacos. I ordered a simple burger and fries. The first time it came out, it was the wrong burger, so it had to be sent back. By the time the correct order came, everyone else had already finished eating. I asked for ketchup for my burger and fries, and despite the server checking in multiple times after that, it never came. After waiting 15 minutes, I gave up. The food was cold, it was nearly 10 p.m., and the experience had just gone downhill from there. I spoke with a manager, who was understanding and took the burger off my bill, which I appreciated. What really bothered me, though, was that the server never acknowledged the mix-up or apologized--even after returning to our table twice more. It felt like she just wanted to pretend it didn't happen. I get that mistakes happen, but a little communication or ownership would have gone a long way. We arrived at BJs at 7:50pm, were seated pretty quickly and our waiter Andre came over immediately for our drink orders. Once he brought our drinks out we placed our food order and by 8:50 the food still had not come out. A manager came to the table and apologized for the delay and offered us free dessert for the inconvenience. He also let me know the chef didn't like the way the scampi came out and was remaking it which caused the delay. The level of service here was definitely amazing and will make me a return customer. The food arrived and the shrimp scampi was amazing, flavorful and a good serving size. I ended up packing half up to go. BJ's should be better, but they don't have their act together at this location. My wife and I have been there twice and it's clear they just don't have the wait and line staff needed to run properly. Latest trip: Long wait for tables even though there were a dozen empty tables they needed to be bussed. Finally sat in the bar at a table and the service was incredibly slow. Only two servers trying to cover a dozen tables and it was clear they had to do an enormous amount of work by themselves. 15 minutes fore we got to order a drink. 15 more minutes before it arrived. Finally got to order food more than 30 minutes after we sat down (an hour after we arrived). The main courses arrived before the appetizer! Food grade: B- Wings were delicious, by far their best food. Hot honey bbq and root beer bbq both excellent flavors Wedge steak salad was poor. Meat was a lower grade than they have any right serving, tough and full of inedible ligatures. My wife's didn't have any actual blue cheese crumbles (had to wait 10 more minutes for the server to correct that oversight). And the actual blue cheese dressing was bland, lacking the sharp pizzazz that makes wedge salads good I doubt we will bother again (disappointing because they have good wings and a great beer selection)! read more

Stopped here for lunch with a colleague and it was a terrible experience, we sat for about 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order, server took our drink and food order together, about 10 minutes later she brought our drinks and that was the last time we saw her, someone else brought our food out and it was all wrong, the "blackened chicken" was barely seasoned (and clearly grilled not blackened) and the chimichurri that was supposed to be on my steak was replaced with some horrible bbq sauce, I also needed more dressing for my salad but no server to be found to even refill our drinks. My friend and I arrived at 11:30 AM to have lunch. We both ordered soup and salad. At 12:45 My friend actually asked our server where our food was and she got very angry with us. We finally got our food at 1:15 PM. we asked to speak with a manager over it and he said he was very sorry for what happened to us and he gave us $3.00 off our bill. By the time we did get our food mine was super cold. This was the worst experience I've ever had at BJ's. My server's name was Bobbie L and the manager's name was Tre. Once we were seated we noticed that our server was overwhelmed because of the amount of tables he had. They were definitely down an employee at the minimum. I have been to another BJ's before but this one really fell short. Stopped in on a Thursday night for a quick bite after a day of traveling. There were only 3 of us and we ordered burgers and a chicken sandwich, pretty simple things. We waited over an hour and they all didn't even come as ordered. Sure the place wasn't empty but not crazy enough to wait over an hour for a few basic items. The chicken sandwich was super dry, came with no honey mustard and I had to then wait even longer for the side sauce I ordered. Unfortunately this experience turned me off that I don't think I will be heading back anytime soon. read more

We got our appetizers first and the calamari and boneless buffalo wings were both crispy and flavorful. I also got the Crispy Jalapeno burger which had a nice flavor but the patty could have been seasoned more. We also got the Brewhouse Philly which was delicious. As for drinks we got the Titos lavender lemonade, Alabama Sunset, Pink Cadillac Martini, and the Blackberry margarita. All of them were good but the Lavender Lemonade was a little watered down. Lastly for dessert we got the new cinnamon bun pizookie. I think the butter and cinnamon mixture they used for the filling just wasn't to my taste but the icecream was good. For cocktails I started off with a pink Cadillac martini , it was so tasty. The bartender nailed it. Looking over the menu I went with my go to and a must try that never disappoints: The tri tip steak with the roasted vegetables and sweet potato fries I don't know what seasonings are on the steak but it's amazing! Our server was great and once dinner was over sold us on ordering a pizookie! We went with the triple chocolate. Oh my goodness it was heaven. Seating choices are at the bar, high top or a booth. I first discovered BJ's at a location in another city way back in the Day when I was an undergraduate.  At the time, I was an ardent fan of their Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas.  I also thought that the best wines by far were those which were white and cloyingly sweet - is there anything which better illustrates how taste in food and judgment usually mature with time? ;-) The past is done and we're now living in the 21st century.  It's been maybe a decade since I visited a BJ's, but a new colleage at work talked me into joining her here for dinner.  The minute we walked in, the smells and the sights conspired to bring all my old memories of BJ's back to me, and I resolved to leave their deep-dish pizzas to people with less experienced palates.   We ordered some draft beers and looked over the menu, but  I couldn't get my mental arms around any of their entrees.  Not wanting to be rude, I decided to stick with beer and pizookies. While I personally had never tried one back in the Day, I remembered that pizookies are freshly baked cookies, served warm and topped with scoop ice cream.  I consulted with our waitress and decided to order a tro - that's 3 mini pizookies, which let me try a lit bit of everything.  After my first bite, I was hooked - my friend can keep their pizzas, I'm now a full-fledged pizookie addict!  My favorite flavor from that first visit is cookies and cream, but the classic chocolate chunk and the monkey bread are pretty damn good too!  They've got lots of flavors, so next time I'll try some more.  I might even talk myself into trying one of their non-pizza entrees, but then again, why mess with perfection? ;-) read more
