DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!! THINK TWICE, think thrice, and THINK AGAIN!!!!!! I do NOT recommend Sono Bello Woburn AT ALL!!!! I can agree with so many 1* reviews, and the only reason why I have given them 1* is because there is no option for no stars!! They definitely blow smoke up your as when you go in to see your 'sales' person!! I did do my research, was satisfied with the surgeon that they assigned me, even though I was very nervous to go ahead with the procedure. A week or so before my surgery appmt, they changed my surgeon to someone that wasn't even listed on their website, so I had no way to research whether he was any good, and was pressured to accept him as my surgeon, due to the 'offer' that I had signed up for to have my surgery before the end of July!! I was never advised to get post op massages, however my own research had brought me to the conclusion that I should. I had an AWFUL experience receiving the second faja that I was supposed to get sent, and didn't get it until at least 4months post surgery!! At my first couple of post op appointments, I only saw a nurse who weighed me and took pictures..... I obviously still had a fair bit of swelling that I expected. By my 3rd post op appointment, it was becoming obvious to me that the sharpie that the surgeon had used to mark me on the day of my surgery, had bled into the incision sites and was now very much within my skin like a tattoo!! They gave me some tape that I applied religiously for weeks, but NO CHANGE! Their treatment of my concerns never seemed to be taken seriously at all!! I requested a consult with the surgeon, as not only was I still concerned about the sharpie marks in my skin, but also that my stomach was very lop-sided with a very visible lump of subcutaneous fat (which should have been removed!!) They cancelled my consult with the surgeon on at least two occasions via text, and never called me to reschedule. I tried to call several times, and was told someone would call me back..... they never did! I saw my Primary Care doctor for my annual, and he also assessed that what I was seeing as a lump of fat that should have been removed, was indeed the case. When I eventually saw the surgeon his attitude was very blasé regarding my concerns of my lumpy stomach area, and said it was 'the best outcome I could expect!!" He was all about disregarding my claim that the marks in my skin were from the sharpie he used, but agreed that he would have me back in to get rid of them! Someone was supposed to call me to book me in to have the fix, but you guessed it, NO ONE CALLED!! I again tried calling to get an appointment and on 3 occasions got told someone would call me back!! Eventually someone called, said they were still trying to 'work out schedules, but will call me back'..... over a month later, still no call, still no fix and still very unhappy with my results! Did I expect my results to be better, YES! The ad's, the staff etc, all give the impression that you will have AMAZING results!!!! Did I expect better customer service and post op care, YES OF COURSE I DID!!!!!! It is no small chunk of change to pay for this kind of procedure, and very scary for some of us!! Do I regret it? ABSOLUTLEY!! I have permanent marks within my skin, and a lump of fat that is very obvious on one side! I could name names, but would that make me feel any better? Probably not!!!!! (Lipo, tummy tuck) with Dr. Wallach, and after he examined me, I was told That I wasn't a good candidate for this, and that I would NOT be happy with the results. They said they could refer to me to a different doctor, but after leaving the office, I contemplated and decided that if the doctor said NO, I shouldn't push my luck, after all I'm 63 yrs old. As long as I didn't have a surgery booked, I could cancel. I was greatful for the honesty of the Doctor. When I called about getting a refund (I had paid in full) the real help, came from a nice lady named Tina, from Warrick, Rhode Island, who called me! Tina helped me in securing my entire refund!! These people are absolute monsters. They dragged me along and made me do numerous appointments and other things out of pocket before denying my service two days before the surgery. I called numerous times only for them to give illogical answers as to why they canceled life-changing surgery on me. This has caused great suicidality and harm and when I told them that they said they don't care And then they even said they wouldn't help me because of writing a bad review! So they'll belittle you and make you feel like you're worthless and then they'll give you crap for writing a bad review. These people are monsters. Go anywhere but here. After losing about 25% of my body weight I hated looking in the mirror and seeing the hanging skin. First the good - the staff, Dr. Broderick and the office itself were top notch. The not so good - expectations need to be managed better. I had upper and lower ab and AbEx. First they did not warn me about the amount of swelling, I had very little pain but holy cow I had a ton of swelling for the first week. I am 8 months post surgery and still a bit swollen. The bad - I see VERY LITTLE difference in my before and after with my upper abs. I feel like at my pre-surgical appointment when I expressed this was my area of major concern that would have been the point to tell me I was probably not going to get the results I wanted. At my 1 month follow up I expressed my disappointment. At my 6 month post-op appointment, when I could meet with Dr. Broderick, I was told there was nothing she could do other than what was done, couldn't remove skin side to side. Would I do it again? Honestly it is a scam. I paid over $10,000 for upper and lower abs waist and back (with a BMI of 33 the cost was about $3k per section and you can't break up the sections you want done. It's sold altogether) I see no results. They don't call to check in and see how I'm doing. The instructions post-op aren't clear whatsoever. The entire experience was painful and traumatic. Dr Delia did my procedure and he was extremely cold without a care that I'm a human being. I cried and screamed during the operation and he never stopped to give me anymore medication. I felt everything! Even after the numbing process, I felt it all. I was told by Britney ( one of the the consultants) that the healing process is great and that most patients are up and walking by the third day. Come to find out, my body won't fully heal until 12 months. I feel extremely duped and the results are no where near what I expected. I don't know how to give negative -5 stars on here or I would. I went to Sono Bello in February just before Covid hit . I had a scar from emergency surgery for appendix at the age of 16 I'm now 57 my scar was approximately 6 1/2" and went for a scar revision and some liposuction above that scar. And they had a thing one area free so I thought maybe get the back of my hips done. You give deposit and the do the financing for you. Thinking it's a 4% loan really turns out to be a credit card that's how they get you, so I went from spending about 4,000 to 11,000 on top of my deposit because the day of surgery the surgeon says "oh no that's extra". I then make the biggest mistake of my life, I ask the doctor "do you know how to sew"? And jokingly said motioning across my stomach "I don't care if you cut me form here to here just make it pretty". My 61/2" went to a 23" scar I really feel she was insulted and got even! I go home very bloated and in serious pain. I go to my follow up to check my bandages and tell them I'm in pain, my stomach is rock hard all along the scar inside and I'm bloated. I'm told it will be a few month before things will go back to normal. I star back to work for a week in pain for a week and. Covid shuts down everything. I'm barely able to do things the pain is also radiating into my back from the destruction of what was done to my insides never mind the outside. I would get instant inconstancy every time I got up from bed, then my bathroom habits were irregular, I got gall stones as a result ,am now dealing with Gastroperesis that I may end up with feeding tubes, a pacemaker, and god knows what other surgery's. I spent about nine hours at the emergency yesterday and am seeing the surgeon to remove my Gallbladder, and then back to gastroenterologist. The worst part is the collection agency is going to take me to court to pay for this! And because of a piece of paper I signed under duress I might add most lawyers won't waist there time but I still have 6 months to file and even if I have to file myself I'm not paying that collection that ruined my credit and made it so I couldn't refinance my home to pay even if I wanted to. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. When I first schedule my ABX lipo (upper, lower, bra fact) I was excited and bragged to my friends. Mainly because the customer service was so great. Everyone was so nice, they ensured me I would be more than satisfied once I was done. I now realize they are paid to tell lies. I should have figured they were a scam when Jena the consultantant and bully pushed ao hard. Once I finally caved and she was searching for an appointmentment date she kept making comments like "no you don't want him, let me find you a good person" well Ms. Jena if Dr. Broderick is one of the best then this place needs a full investigation and should be shut down. I basically donated 12k to Sonobello. I've had to retract all the good things I was sating and strongly suggested my friends stay away. I would never have anything to do with this place. They have preyed on, manipulated and taken advantage of my daughter who is a young disabled woman on social security to the tune of $4,000. I find it disgraceful. She realized the same day that she scheduled the procedure that it was a mistake and tried to cancel. She was manipulated into waiting 24 hours for a "consultation " at which point (24 hrs) it was too late to cancel and they have kept her deposit of $4,000. I cancelled the credit card to limit the damages but they are refusing to credit. She was NEVER informed of their cancellation policy and had tried to cancel day of but was "conned" into waiting until it was too late. I hope that this story will resonate with parents who have children with body image issues. We all want our kids to feel good about themselves, but we also need to teach them to be savvy and not be taken advantage of. wrote a check for 6k for abbs and waist. the female I met during the initial consult a few weeks ago said I was the perfect candidate (although I was unsure what her qualifications were as she examined me as there was no info on her desk or office wall to suggest she had any medical expertise whatsoever)- I then met the Doc Rae today for a pre-op and said you are not a good candidate at all and I don't recommend going forward. So they said, lets see if we can find you a doctor to say you are a good candidate. I said nope. My experience at the Woburn was GREAT. I feel it had to do with the staff at that facility. Nate at the front counter is always greeting customers with a smile. Great first impression and the 3 ladies I worked with were easy to talk to and very friendly. I felt very comfortable during each of my 8 visits. They made sure I was comfortable and I could see how knowledgable they are at what they do. You are lucky to have all of them working for you....JESSICA, NICOLE and Alexandria. I have had some procedures done at Sono Bello in the past. Although I was happy with the service provider that worked on me, the actual results were terrible. I spent $6000 on treatments to my inner thighs. I've seen no results and it's so very disheartening. When I tried reaching out to the staff to tell them my concerns, I was blown off numerous times. Please if this helps anyone at least I can find some comfort in that. But just a little advice, do some research before you spend your money. read more

I had a good experience and hope for great results. Very little discomfort, a flat upper abdomen even after only 2 weeks and no "love handles". This has give me the incentive to exercise more and eat better. A good head start. The procedure was much more involved that I had anticipated but in the end it is surgery and the aftereffects are to be expected. I think a more in- depth explanation of the procedure at the beginning would be helpful. Its not for the faint of heart or the true overweight person who is trying to lose pounds - in fact I only lost 2-3 pounds overall. It really is for fine tuning. read more

This review is about the Woburn Sono Bello. I wish I didn't have to even give them one star because they don't deserve it! Due to COVID, I had a phone consultation almost two months ago. I had told the consultant I had a blood disorder. From there, I had my pre-op and surgery booked. Twice I spoke to a nurse (Cherise) who said they were aware of the blood disorder and would let the surgeons know and would call me back if there was a problem. My surgery was booked for 7/18. I had a pre-op scheduled for 7/8. I happened to call right before the appt to see how long it would take and the receptionist Sophia told me I wasn't on the schedule because my surgery was canceled. I told her I was not informed of this and she said the nurse Cherise documented she spoke to me. I asked to speak to Cherise. She didn't call me back until the next day and stated "she spoke to the doctors on 6/16 (mind you, it's 7/9) and was told I was not a candidate due to the blood disorder. When I asked her why I wasn't notified, she said, "I meant to call you but it's been so busy around here". That was unacceptable in my eyes. I had taken time off from work already. I'm ok with not having the surgery for safety issues but I was not informed of the date AND they still had my money! If they knew my surgery was canceled on 6/17, why wasn't my money refunded (mind you, it was over $10,000!). It took me calling corporate several times to finally get it refunded (1 month after canceling my surgery). The only person who was helpful was the person I initially consulted with, who was Brittany Pauk. Everyone else was dismissive and rude. That tells me they are only in it for the money. The entire staff is great. My 1st consultation went well and I had the procedure done in July on my abs and waist. Nurse Kevin and my doctor were great! During the procedure, the pain was about a 2 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest). That was mostly at the beginning, but during the procedure, I mostly slept. When I went home, I slept for most of the day and had no pain, but was nausaus a little. The give you a boat load of meds, but I took Tylenol instead for soreness the next day. I had lost 10 lbs when I went back for my 5 day follow-up! I was shocked since all the swelling had not yet went away. I'll write again in 3 months when I go back. Should see more results then. Seeing some results now and excellent experience, so far. read more

I had the venous treatments at this spa and found the staff to be friendly and courteous. The location is very easy to get to and they have plenty of parking. I had an issue with a deposit I made but I was happy to have the problem fixed quickly by the clinic manager. They do run specials so it is worthwhile to ask about them and even wait for services if you want to save a lot of money. read more

I can finally continue my review as I ran out of space last time. So as I was saying I was being pressured to adjust my schedule for a preop appointment 72 hours before my procedure. Finally when I threw a hard line and reminded this woman that it was their own error and miss information that got us into this mess. She then started backtracking and said that she could fit me in the following day but I would have to see a physician that wouldn't actually be the doctor performing my procedure. I'd be grudgingly agreed as I just wanted to get it over with. At this point I was so annoyed with this process I wasn't even sure if I wanted to continue. The fun continued the following day when I showed up for my appointment and had to wait an hour and a half for the physician to meet with me. I only waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room but spent the rest of the time in the exam room. A tech would give me updates that the dr. would be out shortly as she was just finishing her own surgery. As the time continued to creep by I became more and more annoyed as I was worried I was going to be late for work. I must mention 30 minutes into waiting the tech was coming in and out of the room restocking supplies as if I wasn't even there. I was finally fed up and ready to leave but I was told by the tech that I had to have the doctor lay eyes on me in order for my appointment to continue as planned. Finally after 90 minutes the doctor came rushing in and literally spent about four minutes with me before rushing out. She did say she would call in the medications that I was going to take after the procedure. A few of them were mainly pain medication. When I went to pick them up at the pharmacy they had never received the call. I followed up with the clinic but I never actually received the medications. As I reviewed in the first part of this the actual physician who did my surgery was very nice and did a great job. However due to all of the mistakes and incompetent behaviors I would not recommend this location. It is just very poorly run and the communication between staff non-existent. read more

I am writing to let everyone know that Venus Freeze works! I have done a series of 8 sessions on my abdomen area after my lipo procedure as well as 8 sessions on my sides and back. I am currently treating my arms. I had the EndyMed tightening treatment done on my arms 2 years ago and had some results, this time with Venus Freeze I definitely notice more of a difference. The size of my arms are smaller and my skin is smoother. If you are thinking about it...just do it! It is pricey but you won't have the risk of surgery, scarring or recovery time as you would with a "tuck". My procedure by Sono Bello in Woburn, MA was an outstanding experience from start to finish. It began with the staff and my professional and informative consultant, Brittany. She left no areas of concern unaddressed. The office staff was very warm and welcoming. Ana and Shannah were my nurses and their expertise exceeded my expectations. Dr. Shektman was my surgeon and he made me feel that my comfort level came first. After meeting with him, not only did I feel completely confident in the procedure he was performing, he wanted to be sure all my concerns were addressed. He took the extra time to answer all my questions thoroughly, at my own pace. You don't find this high quality of bedside manner often, which greatly impressed me. The procedures performed were a lift by Sono Bello and an upper and lower eyelid lift. The entire staff made this experience very comfortable and painless. Dr. Shektman was reassuring and sensitive to my needs during the procedure and informed me every step of the way. Considering my age of 61, my recovery time and experience was very tolerable. Sono Bello informed me if I had any questions or concerns during this time, to call them. Fortunately, I did not need to. Since my procedures, I look and feel rejuvenated and my vision has improved. Well here I am 9 days after having my surgery, upper and lower abs and chest. (As a guy, having man boobs is quite embarrassing and uncomfortable) I am starting to notice a difference, my stomach has definitely gone down in size and the man-boobs are slightly smaller. I wish the the total results were faster but the staff and Dr Rae told me from the start that it would be 3 months to see about 70% of the final result and 6 months to be at 100%. I am doing my part with exercise and diet to get the best final results possible and time will tell??? The staff is extremely nice in the Woburn office. Dr Rae was friendly and took the time to explain the procedure fully to me and answer all questions I had. During the procedure he explained what he was doing each step of the way and checked often to make sure I was doing ok. The procedure itself was not terribly painful. It felt a little strange and a little uncomfortable at times but nothing that was unbearable. After the surgery was finished the staff took great care of me and explained what I could expect in the upcoming days. I had been prescribed pain medication but was fine with just Motrin for 2 days then I didn't need to take anything at all. The staff was nothing but helpful and responsive. During the experience I got timely emails reminding me of what to do and expect. Fast forward three months and I couldn't be happier, they said it could take up to 6 months for the final results. I am so happy at 3 months I can't imagine be even happier. I'm now two months post surgery, and I'm really happy with my results. I always struggled with the pudge I had on my stomach, and now my stomach is flatter and I feel far more comfortable with my body. I also have a much more defined waist than I did before, which I didn't even think was possible due to how wide my ribs are, but thanks to Dr. Walek I have an actual hourglass figure now.
