    Cucumber & Tamarindo Mezcalitas

Sonora Grill was recommended to my wife, so we decided to eat lunch here while shopping in Miyana. This was our first meal in Mexico City, and I think they're definitely worth a try! The restaurant has trendy decor and attentive, friendly staff. Our mezcalita cocktails were creative and flavorful, but I wish the mezcal flavor was more prominent. Our appetizer, aguachile de camarones, was fresh and delicious with medium spiciness... I will return here just for this dish! My wife and I had the tacos de arrachera and tacos de ribeye suadero; the portions were generous and the tacos and salsas were tasty. Glad to see that they had a reasonably priced kids' menu, which consisted of tacos or pasta.

It's definitely not prime! I didn't think that I actually would say that Sonora was just ok. Nothing to write home about for sure. I should've went to Sonora prime instead. Yet this one was close and desperate times calls for desperate measures. The service was good to say the least. I also liked that you get a free starter and closing dessert. Pictured is the ice cream sorbet they give you. I wouldn't return but the views and ambiance was nice at least.

Grilled chicken. Description was boneless but this dish had all the bones in place.

We ordered a fish seasoned in a red sauce, along with a pasta with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken. Fish was fresh plump and delicate. Chicken was smoky tender and moist. Pasta was not al dente. The sauce soaked into the pasta and made it a bit pasty and clotted. This dish did not taste freshly made, but was sitting around for an hour, which caused the pasta to soak up the sauce and made it soggy. Definitely needs to be al dente to get a 5 star. Tres Leches cake was delicious and a perfect ending. What I found odd was the hostess asked me to add a review to Google while watching me. I almost gave them a 5 star but given the lack of freshness in the pasta dish and a hostess who thought she would pressure me to give them a 5 star, I think 4 star is more than they deserve given this pressure tactic.

Delicious!!! The service was great. All the sanitizing precaution's. Everything we had was amazing and fresh. We had Seafood. Ps I know my seafood as I live in the Fl Keys. Our server Manuel Guzman was amazing and very tentative. We will be sure to be back just to see him again and also for the great food!

Nice buttery, flaky crust and succulent meat. Well seasoned. We didn't decided to try some of the Argentinian chorizo that came with a simple salad of lettuce and tomato dressed with some olive oil. The sausage was probably the worst part of the meal, but that's like saying a Mercedes is the worst car among a bunch of Ferrari and Lamborghinis lol. The star of the night was the prime ribeye, that came the table with Serrano peppers and grilled onions. Beautiful great flavor, high-quality beef! We also decided on a side of soufflé potatoes. Now this isn't like a soufflé as much as it was like french fries that were puffy and like little pillows. They were good if not, perhaps a bit under seasoned. They tasted much better when I spooned a little the Housemade chimichurri sauce over the top. End of the night with a dessert of tableside flambé Crepe Suzette! Very delicious very traditional with the Grand Marnier and the Brandy served with some really good vanilla ice cream. Wash it all down with a bottle of 2021 Primeras Viñas Cabernet Sauvignon from Bodega Lagarde. The meal from start to end was wonderful and delicious. Service was impeccable everyone very friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back in Mexico City, which I will be because of Business, I will certainly stop by once again!

An experience and meal that was beyond fantastic!…read more Starting my night looking for a place didn't go so well, my Uber dropped me off a few blocks from the restaurant that I wanted and on my way I found Entre Fuegos. I was hesitant to go in with the music but decided to anyways. Am I ever glad that I did! Miguel and Bryan were amazing. They offered their suggestions for drinks as well as our meal. I decided to have the Duck Dumplings, Artichokes, and Mexican raised beef with asparagus as the side. The meat was extremely tender and perfectly cooked, the dumplings tasted great, and the bread before the meal was amazing! I look forward to returning! I wish that I had remembered to take a photo of the steak!

The wine list is pretty expensive and the wine display upon entry is pretty impressive. The outer dining room is by far nicer than the indoor room, though you are subjecting yourself to the smoking section if that's the path you choose. Like most high end restaurants in Polanco, you can expect loud, out of place music with videos on large screens that attempt to match the beat. I've had the Caesar salad here, the Tomahawk steak and the beef ribs. The ribs were by far my favorite. They fell right off the bone and didn't need an ounce of additional sauce or seasoning. The complimentary bread is a nice touch and their seasoned butter is great. The dessert selection is pretty vast, with about 10 different options. The chocolate layer cake is insanely good, but feeds an entire table so bring back up.

There is a tip box attached to the wall on the left of the doors. The milansa chicken was a big portion and it looked great. The beef was tender and flavorful. I did not have any chicken from the grill and I'm not a big fan of the sausages. It was still good. The service was great but the staff does not speak much English per one of the Google reviews I saw when searching for an Argentinian cuisine. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the bread basket was great. The restaurant pretty emptied when we came at 7:30pm for our reservation but it slowly filled up. I like that they have a children's menu and that the menu was dual language. The online menu was easier to follow than the physical menu.

We chose to sit in the outdoor seating area unfortunately we were bit by mosquitoes. Our waiter was very professional and attentive. They had excellent wine selection as well as alcoholic beverages. There was only two of us, but yet we still chose to go with the grilled meats options, which comes with five variety of cuts. Rib meat, filet mignon, sirloin, and flank steak. Our waiter warned us that that will be too much food, but we insisted and he was absolutely right. We also ordered a baked potato and a cream spinach. Cream spinach is the style in which the spinach leaves are left in tact as opposed to someplace in the US where the spinach is finely chopped. The meat was served over a hot charcoal grill that was brought to our table. If you choose to keep the meat warm or cook it further you can because the grill is hot enough to cook on it. My favorite meat turned out to be the rib meat as it is more fatty, and it was well salted. Filet mignon was good and lean as it should be. None of the meat were marinated. I believe the only marinade used was salt pepper in some garlic. they also asked us if we wanted to get local Mexican meat or import meat. After inquiry, I discovered that import means US imported meat. We chose the local meet and it was perfect .
