As the manager said "Don't miss seeing Cabos when you are in RosaNegra". What an amazing place for the whole family to enjoy and taste great Mexican flavors. Every dish speaks volume of the care and precision that chef took. We were lucky to get the reservation at this place. You have to make a reservation as even on a Wednesday night the place was packed...giving its was a thanksgiving week. Try to get the reservation between 8-9pm so you can enjoy their fire show. Our server Alejandro was attentive and recommended great dishes. We ordered Giant shrimp, Salmon tostadas, Burrata, Peruvian Ceviche, Tuna Tostada, Salmon and Hamachi. Great ambiance and music which everyone enjoys. You are missing out if you are not in RosaNegra if in Cabos!!!

Dance party! We are all singing Sweet Caroline

I've never had so much fun eating out! This is fine dining cum dance party. Saturday night was insane!! DJ stared spinning dance songs around 9 and the bongos started and the waiters passed out sparklers and the scene erupted. People got up from their tables and danced between courses and drinks. The food and cocktails were really great. Fairly extensive menu so something for everyone. Do not pass up the mushroom risotto! It was my favorite thing of the night. Other than the martinis and the dancing. If you are into tequila, the pours are GENEROUS! I would not recommend this place for a quiet romantic experience. If you don't like loud music and shenanigans, not your go to spot. Maybe weeknights are less of a scene - call and ask. Oh and the service was impeccable. Super attentive. I'm so glad we spent our last night in Mexico City here. We practically shut the place down at midnight

The espresso shot was not great, tasted burnt but gets the job done if you need that caffeine pick me up

Rosanegro - Review Food: -Mushroom Risotto: Creamy and comforting. Solid 4/5 -- good, not great. -Short Rib Tacos: 3/5. Not bad, but for Mexico and a sit-down restaurant, I expected more. The meat lacked flavor. -Chocolate Sphere Dessert: Fun presentation with lots of fanfare, but the actual dessert was disappointing. It's essentially a basic vanilla sundae covered by a chocolate sphere that's melted with hot coffee -- more style than substance. -House Bread for Tostadas: Good selection of salsas, avocado, and spices (including habanero). Ambiance: This place gets *very* loud. Throughout the night, the staff dims the lights and performs different mini-shows. It's entertaining but definitely cheesy and gives off touristy party vibes. Not ideal if you plan to have a conversation. Pros: -The restaurant is physically beautiful. -We were able to make a same-day reservation. -Service was attentive (4/5). -Good for birthdays and accommodating big groups. Overall: If you're in the mood for a touristy, spectacle-driven party atmosphere, this place fits the bill. If you want great food or an intimate, conversational dinner, this probably isn't the spot.

We swung by RosaNegra on our first night at CDMX and loved our experience. The ambience is very upscale and chic. You will also have a lot of photo ops options. We were excited to order hookah at the table. Our cocktails were too cute to drink and the food was delicious. We ordered the Mexican bread for the table, vegetarian tacos, fish tacos and grilled vegetables. The servers were friendly but the service was a bit slow. Overall, this place gave more of a nightclub feel with the really loud music and servers dancing, but it was fun.

RosaNegra is the perfect place for a celebration or night out with your girls. Such a fun vibe, beautiful decor, and great live music. All of the cocktails were amazing: flavorful and with a great display/show. Service was also pleasant and not overbearing. Would highly recommend!

One of my close friends recently celebrated a milestone birthday at RosaNegra Polanco in Mexico City. I didn't take a lot of pictures, so here's a quick recap of our experience: 1. The restaurant & ambiance: Beautiful venue + one of the clubbiest and most celebratory restaurants I've ever been to. There was a live DJ who almost exclusively played American soul and pop music, which we appreciated but were also surprised by considering we were in Mexico. A live band made a cameo appearance and played more traditional music. The servers were marching around the restaurant every 10 to 15 minutes with sparklers and making grand gestures to help restaurant guests celebrate their birthdays and other special occasions. There was also a marriage proposal a couple tables away from us. 2. Service: Exceptional! The hospitality and service here were top notch. There were actually three people assigned to our table of five, so all of our needs were promptly met throughout the dinner service. 3. The food and drinks: We ordered a round of cocktails, two bottles of wine, and an assortment of food, including crab bisque, mushroom risotto, Alaskan King Crab, steak, a wedge salad, a side of sweet potato mash, beef empanadas, a gourmet hamburger, and an over-the-top chocolate sphere dessert that my friend wanted. Everything was phenomenal, but the crab bisque and mushroom risotto stole the show in my opinion.

I had my birthday dinner here on my first trip to Mexico City and it was fabulous! The service was great, although at times it was a bit too much. The vibes were amazing and there were drummers roaming around adding to the fun music. The presentation of the cocktails was great! My friend loved her bird drink, and the skull drink had a great presentation but my friend said it was just okay. I got a basic dirty martini but they did it right! Ok the food. My second favorite tuna tostada of the trip! And I tried a lot of them lol! The steak was perfectly cooked and my friends loved their salmon, risotto and tacos. So glad I chose this place to celebrate! They even brought out a dessert with a huge flaming candle!

Amazing experience at this one of a kind restaurant in middle of polanco! There a live DJ that plays dance tunes all night long and two entertainers that play the drums and very lively atmosphere that breaks out in dance once every hour or so. The drinks and food are good as well. The drinks and food are presented in a very unique way. I had the margarita off of their cocktail menu that was fairly small and it's just chilled so no ice in it. It was with pineapple juice. For main course I had their big hamburger that actually had a mini burger on top of it. Never seen it before. Tried the tuna which comes in a sweet gingery sauce and was delicious. I also tried the octopus which was done very nicely. Atmosphere is 5+, service is 5, presentation 5+, taste 5.

Got to try both of this restaurant and their sister restaurant called Chambo during this trip. Both have the same concept of dining with entertainment (Chambo has a live DJ). The menu looks pretty similar. The service was impeccable with most of the waitstaff were able to speak English. This is a place where you want to have a fun dinning experience rather than emphasizing for the quality of food which I thought was just okay.

Cold steak Ala Rosa Negra MX with a side of cold puree. Points for the parilla to warm up my cold food ala Korean BBQ/Benihana vibes.

Ambiance is not a reason to eat here. When you tell the waiter that your food is cold and they bring out a parilla so you may reheat your steak?!?! Leave. Great atmosphere does not make up for the cold food and subpar drinks. Two stars for the efforts made on drink presentation and the live music.

I've been here twice now and left with a full happy belly both times. Owned by the "group that shall not be named" that also owns Animal, Taboo etc...Rosa Negra is a great spot for showy drinks, an upbeat dinner vibe, great food and good service - for a pretty penny ;) Both times I've been it's a packed house so always reserve ahead - and be wary of the super sweet cocktails. Go for the classics if you prefer lighter drinks. Must try: Bone marrow (massive, needed a little more broil time), salmon crudo, duck tacos, catch of the day (a big show to filet it table-side), burrata salad. If you're sensitive to the cold do not let them seat you in the corner by the door

The long awaited celebratory dinner is here, and we are ready! The anticipation of this meal outweighed the disappointment of Pujol not answering our multitude of emails. We landed at Rosa Negra for this special dinner and it was perfect in every way! A party of 11 from around the world, ready to indulge and celebrate Enrique's 60th! So let's get started. It's loud. Really loud! This only matters because our table is limited to conversation with this many people. We started with cocktails, exceptional ones at that. You can't go wrong with the recommendations on the menu! Cheers. We moved on to wine, red and white to appease the masses. It was free flowing as we reviewed our food options. Complimentary warm Gruyère and truffle popovers, homemade tostadas, and salsas. Yes, please! Our servers, Eduardo and Fernando, were exceptional in every way. They were attentive, friendly, and timed our meal delivery perfectly. Appetizers for the table started with Hamachi tiradito, not to be missed! Next Peruvian ceviche, delicious! Grilled artichokes and balsamic cream... loved this dish! Between us we savored Grilled Octopus, a must and so good i didn't want to share it, but i did. King Crab Bisque, Boing Salad, multiple risottos with steak, mushrooms, and seafood, all delicious. The Branzino is a must for those who enjoy a high profile fish being prepared in front of your eyes.perfectly cooked and tasty. Hand shaken coffees with Licor 43, amazing. A sparkler in the birthday boy's cake is the showstopper of the night. A roaming sax player, an excellent playlist, great food, and fantastic company, served by a wonderful crew made this memorable. Thank you for the memories! This restaurant was very accommodating to our needs, adjusting the time and the amount of people, always with a smile. Much appreciated!

Cambalache is an Argentine steakhouse, which is reflected in the style of grilling their meats (over an open flame, which can be viewed at the back of the restaurant), and the service of the meat itself (a La plancha, at the table). We chose the ribeye (600-700g) to share. It was perfectly cooked to medium temperature, and sliced for us tableside. A beautiful cut of meat, and very flavorful. The side dishes were tasty, too (the soufflé potatoes are a signature, and they're fun to try/share). Speaking of tableside prep, I highly recommend saving room for the strawberries Romanoff - our server spent about 20 minutes whipping a combination of vanilla Haagen Dazs, Grand Marnier, cream, and fresh-sliced strawberries into a fluffy concoction that was divinely yummy. Our youngest diner insisted on coming back to Cambalache a second time, a week later, just to have it again. It's not on the regular postre menu, so be sure to ask your server about it.

Cream spinach is the style in which the spinach leaves are left in tact as opposed to someplace in the US where the spinach is finely chopped.
