I had some really fabulous drinks and appetizers at happy hour. Drinks were really on point and we really enjoyed the guacamole as well as the goat cheese balls in guava sauce and eggplant meatball. Pork tacos were succulent and perfect, and the flatbread chimichurri was excellent. I love my margaritas! Caipirinhas were excellent also!

Very nice environment with great tasting food. We enjoyed the salmon and the red snapper. Both with flavor and yummy sides. The coconut mojito on point. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is very lively. There's indoor and outdoor sitting. We sat outside and it was perfect. Our waitress was tremendous - she gave us time to order and made suggestions. The food was delicious, Everything was just right. Will be coming back for sure!

Lots of seafood. Too bad it has no taste.

Great ambience, great service. But the food was not so great. Their signature paella Palomino in particular was a real disappointment. It was the perfect example of what the Spanish call "arroz con cosas", not paella. The rice was bland and almost fluffy, which is *not* what you want in a paella, and lacked any noticeable "soccarat", the browned rice on the bottom of the pan, which any Spaniard will tell you is the best part of a paella. The seafood, while abundant, was nearly tasteless. Definitely not worth the $80 they charge for this dish. We also ordered a few tapas, which were definitely better than the paella but again not great. Gambas al ajillo should be swimming in that wonderful garlic scented oil for dipping in bread. Ours had almost none. Some of the other dishes (the crab croquetas in particular) were admittedly pretty good, as was dessert. But on the whole, I left disappointed. I had high hopes given all the positive reviews here. A shame especially since it was a special occasion, our 30th anniversary.

This food was definitely a 10/10. I have no complaints at all. The only reaon I'm not giving it a 5 star is because when I went it was dead. There was two other peoplen in the entire resturants and it was a sunday afternoon. There was no live jazz or anything. The interior very nice and they also have outdoor. Additional i add the octopus and the seafood paella. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. I'll definitely go back and hopefully the vibe is better.

    Delicious Paella. To die for

I've read about this restaurant many times in the past from Westchester Magazine. I'll get right to the point. This is arguably the best restaurant I've been to in years. Period!! My wife and I went last Friday and they had a 3 course dinner menu for restaurant week. Once I saw they had the paella , I was game. For starters, I had the shrimp ceviche which I devoured in total bliss. Next, it was their seafood paella which I inhaled with their home made hot sauce which I will have again this week . For dessert, they had a cheesecake and tres leches cake which was amazing. Their sangria was also to die for in addition to their stellar hospitality and calm atmosphere. I gotta beg my wife if we can go there for Good Friday. As a Bad Catholic, I'll have their seafood paella. Oh, they also have a killer menu with amazing tapas. I guess I should just move in

This place looks like a private little house. The setup inside is very nice. They have low Spanish music with keeps the ambiance very relaxed. The food we tried was the Paella for two people which was $80. It was very good and not too salty like I've had in other restaurants. The only complaint I had with the dish was that it had very little rice when the dish was for two. It came with a full lobster chopped up, Mussels, clams, and shrimps. There was plenty of seafood but I felt the rice was very minimal for two people. None the less I get full fast so it was fine but I would definitely get a different dish next time. The churassco tacos appetizer was to die for, they were completely amazing and I wouldn't even had mind another set as my dish lol. The steak was cooked so perfect and was so tender, absolutely loved them. Definitely getting the churassco dinner next time. The service was excellent. Servers were very attentive and constantly cleaning our table and refilling our drink. A+.

We came for the Father's Day brunch and the food was delicious, as usual. My husband really enjoys the live jazz music. We love the atmosphere and Latin inspired decor. The food combinations are always tasty and the portions are just right.

Whenever I had meetings at our NYC office, I'd grab a seat at the bar there just to see what was new on the seasonal menu. So, when I heard he was bringing his culinary brilliance to Greenwich Avenue, I was ecstatic. Happy Monkey definitely lives up to the hype, but with a totally different energy. It's a "fun-loving Latin restaurant," and the vibe is spot on--bright, laid-back, and stylish without being stuffy. The black and white tiled floors and all the lanterns and plants hanging from the ceiling give it a really cool, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The bar program is solid. They have a full selection, but the margaritas and sangria seemed to be the move for most tables. As for the food, it was incredible. Here's the breakdown: * Arroz con Pollo: This is the absolute "must-have" dish. Just a heads up: it takes about 30 minutes to cook, so give yourself at least an hour for the full experience. It is well worth the wait. * Sizzling Shrimp with Garlic: Exactly what you want it to be--fragrant, buttery, and delicious. * Organic Chipotle Chicken Tacos: Super fresh and had that signature Jean-Georges "pop" of flavor. * Crispy Calamari: Perfectly fried and a great way to kick off the meal. You can really feel the JG influence here--everything feels lighter and more vibrant than your typical heavy Latin fare. It's great to finally have this level of cooking right here in Greenwich. Whether you're a longtime fan of his NYC spots or just looking for a great new dinner hang, this place is a win.

I suppose it's a pro that it's never been hard to get into, but maybe this spot hasn't quite found its groove yet. As a frequenter of Matador Room in Miami, I see a lot of similarities on the menu (and some of the same dishes, and the overall vibe) which make it that much easier to get food that brings me to Miami without actually having to go there. Namely -- the hot sauce on every table (not a "food" but integral to the JG experience), the ginger margarita (liquids are food), the maitake mushroom, the sweet pea guac, and the always amazing Arroz con Pollo. I'm sure there is more, but this is what stands out to me. So for starters, any of those are fantastic choices. We recently went for brunch and added the tuna tartare, a few salads, a burger, and the baked eggs to the list. My only caution, and I say this with deep regret, is that the baked eggs are VERY baked. I was imaging something more like a loose bake, shakshouka style, but I clearly did not read the menu very hard. We capped it all off with the tres leches (YES) and the Mexican chocolate pudding. Drink the drinks, eat the rice, and put the bright orange hot sauce on everything. Yes, it's not cheap, but what else did you expect in Greenwich?

From the moment you step inside, you can tell how much care and intention has gone into everything. The décor is clean and beautifully done, the drink and food menus are thoughtful and creative, and the prices are honestly more than reasonable for the quality you're getting. It's clear this is a place built with real passion. But what truly sets them apart is something you can't fake--the genuine warmth. They've created that rare "locals welcome" atmosphere where everyone feels like a regular, whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth. Seeing Scotty behind the bar again instantly brought me back, and catching up with Sean, his wife, and the rest of the crew made the night feel more like a reunion than just a night out. I laughed, tried some fantastic new drinks, and had great conversations--not just with the staff and loyal regulars, but also with folks who had stopped in before or after a nearby concert, which added such a fun, lively energy to the place. This spot is an absolute gem. If you're anywhere nearby--whether you're heading to a show or just looking for a great night out--do yourself a favor and stop in. You'll understand immediately why people keep coming back. And honestly? The only downside is that they're no longer in Hell's Kitchen... because I'd be there all the time.

It smells so strong you cannot imagine eating anything while smelling it. Why are they not using any of the many non smelling cleaners available? Like every other restaurant!?! Please Tellys!!! I actually love their food most of the time and would go there more often if not for this issue. Sometimes the calamari and octopus are not as fresh as they could be which of course is a big problem. They need to coordinate with their other restaurant to make the ingredients always fresh!!! Love the marousalata, grilled octopus (sometimes) and many of their other dishes. If they did better marketing or PR (youre right next to the town of Greenwich where people love and can afford your food but no one has heard of you!) they would have more customers and likely fresher food! My suggestions: 1. Stop using fabuloso- clean with a smell-free product 2. Only fresh food always (no old seafood or meat! Dangerous!) 3. Marketing and PR!

The mezze plate came with small bowls of hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, and roasted pepper dip, as well as pieces of pita, cucumber, carrots, celery, and olives. All the dips were delicious. The burrata toast had roasted squash, apples, maple walnuts, pomegranate seeds, a little bit of greens, and a balsamic glaze. I'm a burrata lover, and it's usually served with tomatoes, but I loved this unique blend of ingredients. For my main dish, I had the Maine lobster roll. This was served cold, with mayo, on a potato roll, with a side salad. The portions were huge and the lobster was so good. For dessert, I tried the skillet chocolate chip cookie, the chocolate lava cake, and the pavlova. Everyone at my table agreed that the chocolate chip cookie was the best dessert. It's served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. In one word, heavenly. For drinks, I had a yummy lychee martini. My dad had wine, and he asked me to add to my review that he thought the wine markup was very reasonable. It's a beautiful restaurant, and service was great. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner.
