I was looking for a cake for a special occasion and I was pointed in the direction of Sweets by Sheryll. Sheryll was very personable, bubbly, intrigued and very inviting on what I was looking for. She was able to give me a few ideas and options that would best fit what I was exactly looking for. Sheryll, through the whole process was very in tune with letting me know the price, time of completion and time to pick up the cake. I was never left wondering when the masterpiece would be completed. It was a very smooth process. Now let's get to the cake. The cake was exactly, no no it was beyond what I was expecting. The cake was moist, tasteful bite after bite, sweet but not over powering and the final result of the exterior of the cake was epic!! The cake looked so real, that no one wanted to eat it, lol. Once the first cut happened and tasted, you couldn't fill the plates fast enough. The cake was for a work event. We definitely know who we will be going to for our next dessert/cake. Our daughter loved the cake and for that we are thankful for them helping to make an incredible birthday experience for her. I do apologize for this likely being a challenging design, but quite impressed that you and your team pulled it off so well and even hand delivered an hour before the event. We normally don't care for buttercream style cakes (mostly because it's just nauseatingly sweet and often gritty), but the taste of this cake which was vanilla layered with vanilla buttercream was a delight-- not overly sweet and has a great flavor, including the fondant too. We were also concerned that the cake would fall over like a tree as soon as we cut into it, but they secured it very well and that did not happen at all. Thanks again Aldo and team! The brownie rich, flavorful on top of a really solid chocolate chip cookie. Staff was friendly and generous given this was a Too Good to Go selection. I have no idea why there would have been anything left quite frankly. We've already told our family and friends and this will be a frequent stop for us.
