Stay far away from this store! I ordered a birthday cake, and it was my first order from this…read morebakery. I only eat bakery items on special occasions, as I am a diabetic. This cake was for my niece's 30th birthday party. We picked up the cake on May 27th, 2024, and paid $50.00. I thought the price was high for a plain vanilla cake with buttercream icing and some strawberries on top, but figured it would be worth it from a bakery. But when we cut the cake at her party, it was truly awful! The cake was so dry and actually had a cornbread texture! And the icing was like paste and tasted terrible! Frankly, it ruined her party as no one could eat it. So, a few weeks later, I posted a review on Google with 2 stars and wrote that the cake was very pretty, but the taste did not match the appearance. The owner replied back, stating they wanted to make it right and for me to stop by and see Mark. I called and left a message on their cake order line that I would be in on Thursday, the 20th. So, on that day, I stopped by, and boy, was that a mistake! I introduced myself to Mark. He said yes, he remembered the review, and he did not get my message that I was coming. I said, "Is this a good time?" He then proceeded to look up a picture of the cake on his phone and said "oh you only paid 50.00 for this cake? I paid 20.00 alone in strawberries!" I was taken aback and said well that is what yall charged me and he said it should have been 100.00! I then nicely described what was wrong with the cake and how it ruined the party, and he says Well you want another cake? And i said no why would I want another bad cake, and that was for a birthday anyway, and I was diabetic, and he continued to argue with me and finally I said why did you say that you wanted to make this right and asked me to come in when you obviously don't want to? And he CONTINUED to argue, doubting my word, asking why i didnt try anything in the bakery before i ordered, asking why I took so long to post the review (it was from 5/27th. My husband was in the hospital and then I was ill so I posted the review on 6/15th, which was not even a month later), AND he continued to.complain about my paying "only" 50.00! Finally I said look I am not going to argue with you, I am the customer! You obviously are not willing to make this right, so I am leaving! He says well I offered you a coupon and.I said yes, and I told you I couldn't eat anything here, and also, I do not trust the quality. And he says well what do you want and I said I would accept a partial refund (25.00), and then he REALLY blew up and yelled, "You underpaid by 50.00 already! It should have been 100.00!" With that, I walked out. Please stay FAR away from this store and this angry, belligerent owner! He is also very dismissive and demeaning towards women!

I had used this small bakery before... for my daughter's graduation in December . I called way to…read morelate and other bakeries I know would have turned me away... but no she fit me into her schedule.... just like this time. I just found out it was someone's birthday 2 days ago so I called Mrs Amelia again. she was so busy but again fit me in. I told her flavour and colours.... make it pretty... the flavour and moistness of these cakes are amazing. I would not email or reach out on face book ( maybe I should not say that...). I only say this because CALL and they will do anything they can to help you. she used to be an RN so she can read peoples voices and somehow their need for that perfect cake people will talk about months after eating. it's not a fancy place but her cakes if needed ARE! I saw pics of her work and the talent her and her husband turn out in these cakes is amazing.... so if your looking for a cake for a few or a 100 at a reasonable price.... I would say put this bakery in your contacts. thank you again for the perfect cake! I wish I could show pictures.... Idk how on yelp. So go to their website to have a look.... One last thing, since she was an RN if you're looking for a baker that knows allergy/ dietary needs regarding a cake.... This is the bakery you want. thank you T

I love any and all cake. My husband does not even like sweets. When we began the wedding planning…read moreprocess, we expected the cake to be icing on top of the event (no pun intended). Thanks to Amelia, however, both the process of selecting the cake and the end product became a highlight of our wedding: 1) Amelia's set up with different flavored cupcakes to try with various icings and fillings was brilliant. It was a favorite part of the planning stage, and helped land on a combo that we could not have come up with on our own. 2) A lot of wedding cakes are beautiful, but I rarely see guests get up to admire them. Amelia's talent and versatility re: design was such, however, that our cake ended up being a focal point during dinner, and was shared by so many different guests on social media after. Amelia was so wonderful working with us from a previous concept to tailor it to our venue, and it looked amazing. 3) Critically, the cake TASTED as amazing as it looked. It's normally a win to get a slice of wedding cake that isn't dried out. Our guests expressed to us that they took second slices offered with coffee, and, as a cake aficionado, I ate several more both after the wedding and for breakfast the next day. Even my husband who doesn't like sweets loved it. The only downside is that Amelia may have set the bar way too high, and he's not getting cake like that local to us any time soon. TLDR if you are getting married in the Jax area, or doing any event that can use a cake, I cannot recommend Cake Me to Paradise enough. Thank you so much Amelia from both of us!

There were SO many different types of desserts and the service was so friendly and helpful. He even gave us a sample of the dubai chocolate bar and it was divine! I love anything pistachio, chocolate, strawberry, etc and this store did not disappoint! I got a few items to try out: Date cookies - 8/10: pretty good and fragrant! The outer shell is crunchy and the inside had a date and nut filling. You can tell it was homemade because the taste was very warm (notes of cloves and cinnamon). Chocolate and strawberry cake - 9/10: very rich, moist, and the strawberry filling inside was tart, fresh, and added a nice contrast to the decadent chocolate. I enjoyed this cake very much. Chocolate dubai covered strawberry - 8/10: this was really good but to me, there was a bit too much of the pistachio kadayıf filing wrapped around the strawberry itself. I had to bit down a bit to reach the strawberry but once I did, it was delicious! The chocolate was smooth and didn't taste cheap. They had so many other desserts that I can't wait to come back and try! I would recommend checking out this dessert store after dinner! Prices are reasonable for the size of the desserts.

The menu rotates on the large screen television with descriptions under each item. You can buy a selection of "buy the pound" or "by the piece" delights, including traditional baklavas, shortbread cookies, stuffed Phyllo rolls (Nutella, pistachio cream, and lotus cream which we think taste like graham crackers), and of course - Authentic Dubai Chocolate! We tried several things that were familiar and some completely new to us. I love exploring flavor profiles of other culture's foods. The staff were professional, polite, and service was so fast. I cannot wait to go and buy from them again! And they do catering!!
