They also carry a wide selection of skin and body products, so I browsed their services while waiting. Once Monique invited me back, I had a wash and blowout. WOW--my hair came out amazing! From the wash and conditioner to the styling, everything was on point. My hair has body, shine, and zero frizz. It moves like a flag floating in the air. I was able to pick up a bottle & afterwards was trying on perfume samples. It's nice because they have paper tabs you can just spray on to test the scent. There were lots of new scents I've never seen before. I'm in a change-of-season mode looking for a lighter, less musky scent esp. since the weather's been in the 80°s. I didn't find anything that suited me but at least was able to smell some. I like how they have the perfume bottles anchored with an extendable wire to prevent thefts. Attendants were helpful from the time I entered til the time I left. After I checked out, I was asked if I needed any help & remembered I wanted to check out a Kosas concealer. I was brought to the Kosas area & attended by Joe. He said he'd color-match me to avoid the guesswork. It's a hand-held device that is set to your forehead & cheek to get closer to the color tones of your skin. Joe chose a couple of shades & tested it on my hand then on my face after he sanitized the tester. I checked it by the window & settled for one mini-sized concealer. I also asked about a pressed foundation product as my Shiseido had been discontinued. He showed me a Dior balm type of product so he did the same test w/a couple of shades, sanitized again & tried it above my chin. I told him I'd wear it while walking around Whole Foods & see how it wears in the day before buying. I asked him for some tips to set makeup under the eyes & he gave some suggestions. I addressed some skincare concerns and he was limited in knowledge but that's fine. In time I'm sure he'll gain more experience. I'd say the associates I've worked with in the Nordstrom Beauty counters have more experience, IMO. Nevertheless, there are a ton of product lines including the Sephora brand which has its own merits. Brands evolve & I like to see the new products offered, new technologies incorporated, new colors & formulations. I like the convenience of buying online & pickup except for the locations at Kohl's. There are a lot of Sephoras in the area which is nice & their rewards program is an extra perk. They always have new sample sizes for 100 point rewards redemptions every month which is fun to look forward to. I've even redeemed La Mer skincare sets for 500 points! They also offer various makeup application classes & have certain product line events where they're launching new products. You can sign up online & check their calendar of events.

Been procrastinating on getting a facial and thankfully, their website scheduling system allowed me to schedule my appointment in the middle of the night lol The following morning from scheduling I called because I had questions that the website couldn't answer. I wanted to get a skin assessment so they can help address any problem areas. They called me right back and answered my questions, and advised me to arrive to my appointment earlier, so they could provide me an assessment. Was greeted promptly and professionally by Quinn. The location smells amazing first off! Very relaxing atmosphere, soothing colors and dim lighting sets the mood. Quinn conducted my assessment and was thorough in asking about what skincare products, brands I use and what order I use them in. She recommended a microdermabrasion and a hydrating papaya overnight mask. She started with a deep clean, then provided a wonderful face and décolletage massage, followed by exfoliation, extraction. Towards the end, a series of hydration creams, and finally she put on the papaya enzyme mask that I will wash off in the morning for added hydration and brightening. Quinn sent me home with several samples from their medical grade products to try. They sell a full line on site, based on different client needs and goals. They were kind enough to provide a Yelp discount for $15 for being a new client too. All in all had a great experience, a relaxing facial and good information on skin care! I came in with gel that needed to be removed so they soaked my "toes" in acetone (poured acetone over the cotton on my toes and wrapped them in foil) the acetone ended up all over the bottom of my feet and I sat like this for 30 minutes before someone finally come over to help me. While using the tool to remove the gel they constantly rubbed the skin on my toes with the drill which was very uncomfortable. My toes are sore from how hard the man was filing my toes down. Eventually I asked that I don't get any color because longer wanted to sit in the chair and get my toes done. This experience was no where near relaxing. This was my first and last time at this salon.
