The lady that I had cut me 3 times!!! When I asked for light pink Crome, they gave me HOT PINK!!! And when I asked for my nails shorter, she said "Shorter!? Honey that will ruin the fact of tips if they are so short but they were barely 3 inches. The coworkers kept surrounding my table like they have never ever done tips. The vibe was very crowded and messy. Overall, this was not a good salon. read more

Beware.... A heartbreaking experience the way they treated my sister when she went in for a mani and pedi. First time going in and they treated her very poorly compared to the other customers. She was not made to feel welcomed but instead felt like they did not want to service her. Sophia, the owner could not be more rude. If she does not deem you "important" she is dismissive and snobby. I have been going for years and on accident missed an apt that I had made. I felt terrible! I called to reschedule, knowing that I would make sure to make it up to my favorite ladies who I've seen for years, only to get reprimanded over and over on the phone. Was told I could not see them again. There are so many lovely salon buisness owners in Dallas, I'd recommend patronizing them rather than this one. I've been a customer for 5+ years at this salon always booking an appointment in advance not simply walking in. During these years I have missed two appointments and was late for one. They now say they don't want me as a customer. Sophia has always been rude but I've overlooked that because of Summer. I've had bad manicure from some of the ladies in the salon but I never complained nor asked that they redo them. I feel sorry for the ladies who lose business because of Sophia. read more

Had an appt for 1 pm they didn't start until 1:30 and told me I was rushing them and yelled at me in the store. Never coming back.

1) wrong address and wrong number on yelp. They're at 4417 Lovers Ln. I don't know why the owner doesn't update the Yelp information. 2) I must've gotten the worst technician. Came in for a pedi polish change ($12) and dip mani ($40). Polish change was fine. Dip was AWFUL. She drilled so much color came out uneven - it looked almost like ombré but not!! Also got color all over my cuticles- see photos. Other patrons seemed to be happy. If you get the young Vietnamese girl, ask for someone else. I will not return and will probably have this removed within the next few days. read more

I used Sophia's for a year and half. The staff is nice. Some do a very good job and some do not. Sophia is consistently very rude though and it is so unpleasant to go there! I was never late for an appt, never missed any appointments and tipped well. So many patrons know each other and are from the area, as I am. I hope Sophia learns sooner than later for her staff's sake that her attitude has us all leaving her salon. read more

I have been to Sophia's many times in the past. Before it used to be great service and a great manicure. Now because it's too busy and they take on way too many walk ins, both the service and the quality have declined. My tech didn't even finish taking off my former nail polish before she started and took no pride in her work. Her focus was on speed, which if you've ever had a dip manicure before you know it's not a quick process. She cut my cuticles to the point that they were bleeding on two of my fingers. They weren't very apologetic and even tried to blame me for my dry skin and not that my nail tech was manically trying to get the job done. You can see where the glob of nail polish is on my fingernail instead of blending into it. There's plenty of other places on lovers to get your nails done, and I will not be returning. read more

I came here on a Friday afternoon, on my day off of work, hoping that it wouldn't be crowded, but all the chairs were filled, so there was a small wait. The salon is not that big, I think there are only 6 chairs. Also, their chairs aren't the ones you see at other nail salons. These look like couch chairs (if that makes sense) and they don't vibrate or anything like that. I got a pedicure (I think her name was Jami) and she did an excellent job! She was very thorough and didn't rush at all. I also got a gel manicure (I think her name was Amy) and she did a good job as well. I think the total for a pedicure and gel manicure is $70 or $75, which is more than what I would like to have paid, but the gel polish works so well and stays on longer then regular polish, that every now and then, it's worth it. The one thing I didn't like was this woman came in for a manicure, and she seems to be a regular, b/c she knew a lot of the workers, and she was on her cell phone and was really loud. Then someone else she knew came in for pedicure and they didn't seat her close to the loud woman and they were having a conversation and they were so loud! It was hard for me to relax b/c of those two women talking so loud, plus the employees of the salon were trying to talk to each other over those woman, so they really annoyed me. Luckily, that was near the end of my mani/pedi. read more

I love this place. It is so nice. People there are so nice, work so hard, and my nails always end up looking perfect. $1 per minute of neck massage that is so worth it. Not sure how to spell his name but Tae is relatively new and he did amazing last time I was there. Highly recommend this place! Definitely make a reservation unless you're going at an odd time. read more

They always do a good job on my nails. Usually I have to keep an eye on my nails being done to ensure they are filed evenly and the paint goes on evenly. Here I could sleep through my mani and know it'll come out flawless. I love the seats for pedicures too! I wish they were open later, makes it hard to get in.. but otherwise love this nail salon! read more

I love this salon. Place is super nice and clean. They will do a mani/pedi for $45 and work on you at the same time which is a time saver. A mani alone is $18 and for me lasts about 9 days and I work a lot with my hands. My favorite girl is Hannah! She does the best mani in my opinion. I won't go anywhere else! read more

I've tried so many nail salon's in Dallas and I've finally found the best place. Sophia's Nail Salon is definitely it! Not only do they do a great manicure, but the OPI gel nails are awesome. I've had mine on for two weeks now and they still look great. You can even do it with dark polish. The ladies who work there are so sweet and it's a very relaxing atmosphere. They even offer neck massages while you get your mani/pedi! Just had to share with all you readers out there. This is the place to go. I love going to Sophia's. It has a clean, modern, vibe. Everyone is incredibly nice. And it is super clean - they soak your feet in tubs of water instead of the whirlpool jets that are impossible to sanitize. And it's all very reasonable! Highly recommended. read more

I was never loyal to one particular nail salon until I was introduced to Sophia's! They have a great selection of nail polish, especially Deborah Lippmann! Very relaxing, clean atmosphere and my mani stays shiny and lasts for a full 10 days, and the pedicure stays looking great for over 2 weeks.
