When I am looking for a pizza fix I would definitely choose this place to other local pizzerias, but they are not the best around. If you visit in the mid-day the pizza is awesome, but the later in the day the more dry the pizza gets. They basically stop making pizza around 4pm and you have to settle for the usual, or order a full pie. There pasts is ok, nothing out of this world. I also read some of the bad reviews that claimed the place was cold. The restaurant's temperature was very comfortable. The bad reviews are over critical. What a rip off! I ordered in and it took about 15-20 minutes for 1 slice of pizza and an Italian sandwich. I asked for American Cheese on my sandwich, and once I started eating it I noticed their was not any cheese on it. She told me I should have checked it before eating it. Now I have to check me food before eating it? Was putting American cheese on a sandwich so complicated? She then gave me back $0.50. I paid about $13 for an Italian sandwich that was only 6" long. This has great takeout. It is your typical family style pizza place.

Their penne vodka slice is pretty good, two of those will fill you up. The other slices are ok, but I like the fact that their buffalo chicken slice doesn't have any blue cheese on it. Their chicken francese was good too, a nice amount and lots of lemon juice in it. The other half of the place is a restaurant, haven't gone there yet, or you can just grab a slice and sit in the front or take out. The delivery service is a plus too. Amazing hidden little pizzeria, DELICIOUS pizza, the chicken ceaser slice is divine! It was light and not greasy at all. Chicken was grilled to perfection and the crust was delicately baked, I am hopelessly addicted! Also had a plain cheese slice and it was seasoned perfectly, the sauce was the right balance of salt and sweetness. The crust was heavely crisp as well. The lentil soup was piping hot, hearty, and a MUST! This is feel-good food! It's a badass old school pizza shop/restaurant with staff that give off a family-feel. It is amazing how bad an Italian restaurant can cook italian food or should I say heat up Canned sause. You guys should try an nother brand. The meat balls had a lot of cheese in them to cover up the fact there was very little meat in them NO FLAVOR. I used my Debit card and was told there was a 50 cent charge to do so. Found out about sopranos about 2 years ago through work. We had ordered veggie pie. It was one of the best veggie pies I have eaten. Brought home a pie for my husband. He loved it as well. Our office moved and I didn't have it quite as often. Luckily my husband now works very close. We have now switched to white veggie pie, which is even better. Try the white veggie pie. First, their pizza is pretty decent for delivery. This evening, we switched it up and ordered chicken entrees and spedini. The chicken was good, thin, and easy to cut. The spedini was like no other in the worst way possible. It was made with a white sauce which was unusual, and even worse it was topped with anchovies, which WAS NOT listed on the menu and the girl did not tell me this on the phone. We were very disappointed with all the food we had delivered. Last Saturday we ordered egplt parm, chicken Carmella, veal Milanese, and a salad. The egplt was mushy & loaded with cheap cheese, the chicken was gross, and the veal was chewy and a little hard. The greek salad came with no dressing. The piece of cheese cake we ordered came frozen. I gave them a chance to rectify the situation and they never returned my call. An apology would have been nice. I would NEVER order from them again. we have been ordering from them for years and as the years have passed we can see a big difference in the staff and service. we can order the same thing every day for 1 week and pay upwards to a $4 difference each time. Their pizza is extremely over priced and just to add shrimp to a salad cost me $5 extra for only 5 shrimps. I also had to wait an extra thirty minutes after delivery because I have repeatedly asked for bread and rarely receive it. also we order salads with barely any lettuce and when we ask them we are told they are low on lettuce but we are still paying the same price (btw shoprite is right around the corner). so much for great food and prices!! read more

I was excited that this pizzeria offered gluten free options. We ordered gluten free pasta with red sauce and veal parm with a regular pasta side. When the order was delivered there were 2 large containers and a small separate container. The large ones in one bag, the small one in another. Now regardless of gluten free, why would you separate the meal? The side order of pasta was on its own so I figured that would be he gluten free one. After trying to call and not reaching anyone for 15 minutes they answered and told us that the large one was actually gluten free, not the smaller separated one. When I said it should have been marked I was told it was my fault for not saying anything. I'd think an establishment that offers gluten free would be smart enough to separate the orders. I would not order from them again because they obviously can't use common sense. Don't separate the side from the meal. If they're packaged together I'm going to assume they go together. read more

I have used this place for my lunch and dinner needs for the last few years. This evening I placed an order for a large pizza, a Mediterranean salad, French fries and a buffalo chicken sandwich. For starters, they were at my house with the food in like 20 min. I was shocked it was so soon. Being that I have grown up working in the restaurant business, (fresh) quality food in most cases takes at least 45 minutes to get delivered on a good day. Anyway, the result of this speedy process clearly showed in the food we ordered. My pizza pie had the cheese separate from the dough, my fries appeared they had been soaked in black oil the whole night and then just thrown into a to go container, and then my salads lettuce appeared at had been left out all day. I order from this place all the time. I didn't want to call, but felt I needed to voice my concern. I spoke to Natalie. I let her know about the experience I had and shared with her that I probably will not be ordering from that place any longer. After telling the individual issues, she said "the lettuce is always refrigerator kept.. The least of my concern. Her answer to the whole problem was "my food was prepared the way she sees all the food prepared on a normal basis. If that's the case, your food is terrible. I for one will no longer consider this place for my lunch and dinner needs. Not just for the fact that the food wasn't suburb, but for the simple fact that (a manager of the business) wasn't there to address my concerns. Natalie should have showed a bit more concern for my needs. She failed to do that. The one thing I can say is, you lost a valuable customer who always recommended this place to friends and family. A decent pizza place, not great. The place itself was old, run down, dark. It definitely needs a remodeling, at least. I do like the layout, a nice sit down room and a small room for quick eating. The menu isn't too interesting, but it has all of the necessities. For a pizza place in New Jersey, though, I would expect something a little more audacious on the menu. But, this place was crowded, so they must have been doing something right. The way the restaurant operates is not good. The service wasn't great, with workers talking to customers, not doing their job, etc. But, the food came out rather quickly and it was pretty good. We started off with a Caesar salad, which was pretty good, fresh, with a nice dressing. We had a steak and onion sandwich, which was a nice size portion. The steak was cooked well and the combination of flavors was quite nice from a pizza place. I had a chicken parm sandwich, but I got mine with vodka sauce. The chicken was tender and was a generous portion. The vodka sauce was drenched on there, but overall, it was a pretty interesting sandwich. This is a decent pizza place, but I might want to try something different next time. read more

This pizzeria/restaurant has by far the best ziti slice I've ever tasted. Usually ziti slices would be dry in other pizzerias that I've tried. Also there Philly cheesesteak slice is AMAZING which is the one with FRIES on it. And its AMAZING.
