    The bill

Sorelle is fine dining and Michelin rated for a reason. I came with friends for my birthday dinner: wow! The whole place is stunning. The building has an extensive history, even once serving as a Hebrew orphanage, to now being a beautiful restaurant. I love how the architects and interior design highlight the character of the building! The wallpaper on the main dining room on the second floor is truly gorgeous! For cocktails, we tried many! I got the almond sour (delicious) and my friends were pleasantly surprised they serve decaffeinated espresso martinis. My sister got a spritz, which she also enjoyed. I was also touched that the culinary team was kind enough to sign a birthday card for me. Our table also received complimentary cacio e pepe popcorn to snack on--yum! For appetizers, we got the tuna tar tar (Crudo di Tonno), the strawberry caprese salad, and some shrimp--all so delicious, that they FLEW off the plate! For mains, I got the Rotolo al Forno, which was VERY tasty. My friends got the chicken milanese, the Sorelle spaghetti, and the sworfish. For side dishes, we also got the meatball with polenta and some potatoes. For dessert, I got a complimentary birthday cannoli with a candle and the Limone (a berry and cream-filled dessert in the form of a lemon!) What. A. Meal!!! The food and the locale are just stunning. But of course, not cheap. As a whole, we paid a whopping $399.75 without tip! Was it worth it for a feast of glamour? I'd say so--but definitely not an every day treat unless you have the budget! Also, Lucy was our server and was exceptionally sweet and patient!

We were visiting and our foodie friends made reservations at Sorelle. We had really enjoyable experience overall. The restaurant is beautifully designed with an elegant atmosphere that still feels warm and inviting. The almond sour was excellent -- a delicious cocktail but a little sweet. The house bread was also a standout. We loved the apertivo plate for sharing. The Wagyu pizza was unique and flavorful. The Wagyu was a Wagyu carpaccio(I must have missed that part). The fresh pasta dishes were the stars for us, especially the pappardelle with braised rabbit and the "pillows of gold," which were rich, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Dessert was a little more mixed. The vanilla bean donut dessert was just okay. The olive oil cake was moist. Beautifully designed space, thoughtful menu, and definitely worth visiting in Charleston.

We had the best date night at Sorelle on Broad! From the moment we checked in with the hostess to our server, the staff was amazing, funny, and made the whole experience refreshing and exciting. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We had a 9:30 pm reservation and I was a little worried about parking, but the nearby parking garage was an easy walk and felt safe both ways. I was also concerned about their 10 pm closing time, but the staff reassured us they stay open until everyone is taken care of, served, and comfortably finished.

First timers and we were lucky enough to get a spot for our 2 month anniversary. Not a major milestone but one that will be remembered thanks to a great experience/night. Aaron and an apprentice waiter took care of us and did a fine job. We saw them consistently throughout the meal. Not too much but enough to take care of our every need. Our seats were by the woodfire grill and very cozy with only 4 people in the area. We watched the sous chef take care of what looked like side items and small pizzas. Very cool. We started with octopus with potatoes. I was sold right there. That was some of the best I had ever had. So tender and flavorful. Great combo. For our meal we shared the Swordfish picatta. Thin skin on it and a lovely sauce with plenty of capers. Perfectly cooked. Easy to overcook fish but this was not. Our other item were the pillows of gold. Not sure what the price was but probably more than I think it should be but maybe worth it. We both loved them. They melted in your mouth. Decadent. Following our romantic meal was the desert of Zepeles with a mixture of the items in tiramisu that they mixed at your table. It was delicious. Put the mix on your donut balls and enjoy! It was a night to remember and hopefully not our last at Sorelle!

My friend and I just recently ate at Sorelle, we were visiting from SoCal. The drinks were amazing but the food was absolutely delicious. The ragu was hands down the best pasta I have ever had...better than what I ate in Florence, Italy and that was incredible. The stone fruit caprese was also refreshing and good. We got lucky to grab a couple of bar seats because there were no reservations available, we are happy we got to eat at Sorelle.

Loved every course! This is a great spot to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion. The menu does change occasionally, but everything we've tried has been amazing. Service is above and beyond as well. We had the patio booked, but due to the weather we had to sit inside. They moved us to corner booth that overlooked Broad St which was still lovely!

I can see why this place is Michelin rated. We just stopped in for lunch and the tea and pizza was delicious. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and prompt service. All of the food looked delicious.

We had a delicious meal here. Really nice setting and great option for celebrations. The bread, tuna crudo, zucchini parmesan, burrata pizzette, sorelle spaghetti, swordfish, flounder, and potatoes were all great. It's rare to order so many dishes and have them all hit. I unfortunately forgot our waitress' name, but she was great as well.

We had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Everyone we interacted with was incredible - especially Virgil our server. We really appreciated the complimentary Prosecco and tasty baked goods. Everything we ate was outstanding and beyond delicious. The bread service lived up to the advanced praise we read, and the caprese salad with peaches was a perfect way to pave the way for our mains. The Rigatoni Frutti da Mare and the Tajarin al Ragu were both exceptional. The homemade pastas had that perfect texture and "tooth." The delicious chunks of seafood in the lobster brodo coated the tubes a goodness perfectly. And the bolognese tasted like it had been simmering for hours, developing the flavors to perfection. We ended with the Zeppole e Caffe, having to show restraint to not lick the bowl. An absolutely amazing experience, top to bottom.

Came back to Sorelle for dinner and it completely missed the mark. Our flounder arrived cold, the tuna had zero flavor, and the pasta was... just pasta. Nothing stood out. I also had pretty high expectations for their service, and that fell short too. They were clearly trying to deliver great service, but the execution just wasn't there. There was a lot of miscommunication, our dishes were brought to the table next to us three different times and then handed back when they realized the mistake. On top of that, the manager interrupted our main course to make small talk while I was taking my first bite. I usually appreciate that kind of interaction, but the timing felt off and inauthentic. Overall, you can tell they want to get it right, but it's just... not there.

Our coffees were amazing! 10/10 for their seasonal drinks, we always love to try the seasonal/daily specials. It was slightly chaotic to wait in line, but the line was well worth it. Perfect location right next to King Street, so it's a perfect pit stop during a shopping day

Sorelle is my favorite coffee shop in charleston! I stop by every time im in town and treat myself to their special latte of the week! Their pastries are super yummy and the staff is always friendly! I tried the chocolate croissant today and it was super fluffly and rich! The restaurant and cafe are beautiful and I need to come back and try their dinner soon! It is a superrr popular spot so just prepare for a line, but it moves super quick and is 100% worth the wait!

Sorelle was hands down one of the best restaurants we've been to--not just in Charleston, but anywhere. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The homemade pasta was fresh and perfectly prepared, the appetizers were outstanding, and the cocktails were delicious, refreshing, and complemented the meal beautifully. Our favorite dish was the chicken Milanese, which was absolutely incredible and something we'd 100% order again. Our server was enthusiastic, attentive, and genuinely seemed excited to make sure we had a great meal. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. This is a restaurant we'll be recommending to anyone visiting Charleston, and we can't wait to come back.

    Is there gf pasta?

I haven't had it but last time I was in, the server mentioned gluten free pasta!

Is wine corkage allowed and if so how much per bottle?

Yes $45 as of now I believe, just depends on how big the bottles and how much you bring.

How much on average per plate?

I don’t know exact average but would speculate $30 ish. My friend and i had the sourdough trio, split an appetizer, and one pasta each. She had a glass of wine. Bill was $50 something each- (we split down the middle. With a bottle of wine and an…
