Very nice clean deli. My husband had a turkey, bacon and avocado sub. He would have liked less bread, more meat. I had the chicken salad on salad. It was very good!!! They have outside seating for us dog people! A huge plus in my book!

Glad I found this place for lunch while making the trek home after a snowy week. Sorelle could very well become my go to place when I am traveling through on Hwy US 285. The menu line up is lengthy so it is hard to determine which one to choose. For us this time, it was the freshly roasted chicken pesto sandwich. All fresh ingredients, it was a perfect lunch as it tasted great and was served promptly. The attendants are friendly and efficient. The manager/owner is involved and is constantly making quality control adjustments - not that any are needed. Table seating inside. This is a really good sandwich shop, with fast service and reasonable prices. I will be back soon.

Great sandwiches! Loved the outside dog area too! Nice opportunity to let our pups legs stretch after a long drive while we enjoyed our yummy sandwiches.

If you are in Buena Vista, Colorado, be sure to stop at Sorelle Delicatessen. Stopped here for lunch at 1 o'clock on a Saturday. When you walk in to the restaurant , the menus are written on chalkboard on the side of the walls. So many choices to choose from. They have a daily soup and many sandwiches. Adorable Cashier was super friendly. I remember her name being something like Anastasia. She confirmed our order with many compliments. I ordered the chicken with Gouda sandwich, but I only got a half as the sandwiches are quite large. My husband asked about the dressing that was served on the sandwiches. She said it was so good she could bathe in it. My husband just got a turkey sandwich with the house dressing and he agreed that it was that good. The restaurant inside is rather small. Just a few tables but very clean. Take yourself out to the patio outback. It has red umbrellas and black outdoor tables. It has a fountain in the middle of the patio. You can go further if you have a pet and take them to the back patio, which is a backyard of picnic tangles. Our food was more than enough with half a sandwich. They are quite large. Their beverages are self serve out of a fountain. The food came quickly and we were not disappointed. I saw other people with their sandwiches and I wish I had asked to take a photo. Nothing here would be disappointing to eat.

Cute place! Our meatball sub was under cooked at first but we got another one no problem. Food came out fast.

SUMMARY: Mediocre food…read more Despite the great reputation, well adorned facility, stellar location, and impressive menu, everything I ordered proved consistently disappointing. Calling this food ordinary is, at best, an overstatement. At each turn, my efforts invoked in salvaging the (food) entries was met with failure. Starting with a simple Caesar salad, the lettuce tasted several days old. Drenched in ordinary tasting salad dressing, the romaine lettuce became soggy from the presence of excessive dressing. The dressing was too strong in taste, akin to store bought lower priced varieties, and from this, proved difficult to eat. The portion was generous, however. WARNING: Do not order the minestrone soup. To explain: The minestrone soup proved ultra disappointing. With the amount that I paid, $12, for a bowl, I was expecting it to be of meal-like quality. Instead, it was also challenging to consume, being so vinegary, possessing a handful of some tomato slices and little else. It arrived lukewarm. Instead of ample carrots, beans, celery, onion, etc., with typically a delicious broth, all that I could detect was slimy tomato slices in a pool of vinegar. The "chef" needs to study quality minestrone soup recipes and completely start over, especially if customers are charged $12 for such. I was so looking forward to a quality and hearty minestrone soup. I haven't tasted anything so pathetic yet simultaneously overpriced, in years. Have they tasted this? It pains me to speak so passionately about something like this. But it was a disaster. The house bread? It was crunchy, also seeming to be dated, not stale, just not fresh. It wasn't warm. It was dry. The garlic butter was fine, but following the theme, ordinary, at best. I tried everything to make at least the bread come alive, heaping massive piles of garlic butter on it. Nothing could rescue the bread either. No olive oil was to be found anywhere on the table or tables in my vicinity. Very friendly staff was present, but their inexperience and lack of polish became annoying. Whatever virtue that the "soup" might have had was lost as it got even colder while she was talking ceaselessly to me. Yes, it arrived lukewarm before she was conversing. Friendly service, even if awfully informal, can't compensate for such a poor price - value relationship and mediocre food. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Perhaps they do a superior job on pasta dishes. Yet, upon perusing the menu, I couldn't find just a small or half portion of spaghetti. A jr. high aged boy near me somehow managed to order a small plate of spaghetti. While it looked ordinary, such would likely have proven sufficient tonight, even if such was likely only available on the children's menu. If this restaurant once served fresh and delicious food, something, at least of late, has woefully gone awry in the kitchen.

We wanted to take a break on a long drive, so we sat down inside. We got lucky--no line. Our server was quick to greet us and brought cokes in big glasses with crushed ice. Yes. While we waited on food, I looked around and soaked in the vibe. This is a local's place in the purest sense, but has always felt welcoming, no matter where I'm living. Pizza--and buttered spaghetti w meatball for the younger diner--arrived quickly enough and we dug in. Mario's pizza stands out as "normal" pizza with every ingredient and flavor on point. You'll have to drive a long way to find any on par with Mario's pies. They're in my top three Colorado mountain town pizza joints and I've been to my fair share. The meatball from the kids' spaghetti was moist and tasty--good, not great. Five stars for simple excellence, good service, and the 60-70s pizza joint decor.
