We had been to so many places all week and Sorelle was by far the best restaurant went to all week. They had a large selection of sandwiches to order all made with fresh ingredients in house with their wonderful breads. They also have homemade pasta in house with homemade sauces and pre prepped meals you can take to cook at home. In the cooler a selection of pasta salads. Olives, and homemade desserts. Also, their soda selection is all made from an organic source. We had the Rueben and gyro sandwiches. The Rueben was perfection. Meat was perfectly seasoned and tender with fresh rye bread. The gyro meat was also so flavorful and that bread! Don't think twice, just go. You won't regret it and it will be the best sandwich or meal you'll have in town!. My family and I stopped by for lunch before heading to our white river rafting adventure. There were a lot of sandwich and side dish options. Their display case was beautiful and all the items looked so yummy. We got a ham and cheese sandwich and a French dip sandwich. Both sandwiches were good! The bread was so soft. This was our second time in Buena Vista and second time eating at Sorelle! Both times, Hubs had the Italian, which he declares the greatest sandwich of all time. My little had the pasta the first time and the pasta salad the second time, which she loved. I've had the veggie which is fantastic and then this last time the Hot Beef. Out of all, I wouldn't get the Hot Beef again- only because I really wanted it to be a warm sandwich and it wasn't really. Glad I found this place for lunch while making the trek home after a snowy week. Sorelle could very well become my go to place when I am traveling through on Hwy US 285. The menu line up is lengthy so it is hard to determine which one to choose. For us this time, it was the freshly roasted chicken pesto sandwich. All fresh ingredients, it was a perfect lunch as it tasted great and was served promptly. The attendants are friendly and efficient. The manager/owner is involved and is constantly making quality control adjustments - not that any are needed. Table seating inside. When you walk in to the restaurant , the menus are written on chalkboard on the side of the walls. So many choices to choose from. They have a daily soup and many sandwiches. Adorable Cashier was super friendly. I remember her name being something like Anastasia. She confirmed our order with many compliments. I ordered the chicken with Gouda sandwich, but I only got a half as the sandwiches are quite large. My husband asked about the dressing that was served on the sandwiches. She said it was so good she could bathe in it. My husband just got a turkey sandwich with the house dressing and he agreed that it was that good. The restaurant inside is rather small. Just a few tables but very clean. Take yourself out to the patio outback. It has red umbrellas and black outdoor tables. It has a fountain in the middle of the patio. You can go further if you have a pet and take them to the back patio, which is a backyard of picnic tangles. Our food was more than enough with half a sandwich. They are quite large. Their beverages are self serve out of a fountain. The food came quickly and we were not disappointed. I saw other people with their sandwiches and I wish I had asked to take a photo. We stopped in here on our way to Crested Butte on a. Friday afternoon in March. Very few people there. The lady who took our order was super friendly and our sandwiches came out literally in minutes. We were very pleasantly surprised as we just wanted something quick before getting back on the road. We scooted in about 1 minute before 4 - closing time- and the greeted us, answered our questions, exhibited humor and care and then served up the best meatball sandwich ever. The soft roll, spicy red sauce and sausage and beef meatballs combined to make the hot sandwich beyond delicious. The ham sandwich had a spicy bacon salsa and pineapple- yum. Fountain drinks are Colorado Soda Company; I had not had them before and am Pleased they use cane sugar and not high fructose corn syrup.
