She was super knowledgeable and walked with me through how to attain my long-term personal hair goals. Most importantly, that lady has skills! This recommendation is specifically for Rhonda Mitchem. She is amazing with curly hair. I was driving an hour plus to Oakland to get my hair cut until I found Rhonda. I have a mixed curl pattern (mostly 2b/2c with a random patch that's curlier than the rest) and get color and highlights. She understands my hair and has ideas if I'm not sure, but she also really listens when I do have opinions. Also, Rhonda and the salon are taking COVID seriously. They don't open at the first opportunity but wait to make sure and are very diligent about masks, temperature checks and spacing out clients. Rhonda is also clearly invested in masking, sanitizing and limiting her exposure. She's not only a gifted stylist but is also a good person. I can't recommend them enough! read more

I was so excited to get my haircut here, the place is really cute and the spaces are fully contained with shampoo bowl so its very convenient. I was told my appointment was with Rhonda and she has great reviews with curly hair so I was happy! When I got there I was told it wasn't with Rhonda but with Jamie instead. Because I do have curly hair but blow and iron it out flat, I go into great detail about how to cut it so it lays flat. I had been trimming the front myself during Covid because I am a Cosmetologist myself but couldnt cut the back so it was longer and needed blending in. I had an A line bob and like the bangs longer than the rest. Jamie seemed to understand what I wanted so she began to cut and about and hour and half later she blew dry it. When I looked at it I could tell it was completely different and really overlayered in the front where my Aline was. It was shorter and thinner on the heavy side so I definitely liked the longer side better. She told me she needed to even it out but it was too short already so I ended the haircut and told her I was unhappy. She charged me $105.00! When I got the receipt, it asked if I was happy and I said no and explained and she sent me back the email posted below which myself and everyone I know was appalled at the unprofessional tone and content. read more

I was recommended to Denise by a friend but I had to leave her after going to her several times. She dumped me because I miss a Saturday appointment because I was sick. Then rescheduled me and canceled 2 days before my sisters wedding. She wouldn't even let me book with another hair dresser at the salon! She is very very rude, she talks badly about her co-workers all the time, she bitches and complains the entire time she does your hair. Even though I liked my hair, the mental strain it had on me leaving the salon was unreal. She's just not a good person. I followed my hairstylist of 15+ yrs, Patricia to Sorelle salon. The salon is beautiful, clean and convenient. The best part is that each station has its own sink, so you never have to make that awkward walk to the rinse station. The main reason I come here is the beautiful work Patricia does with my hair. She does wonderful cuts, color and is also very knowledgable when it comes to products. She also does keratin treatments. I included a pic of how my keratin treatment turned out. Please note that I have very curly hair and the before pic was taken after Patricia did a quick blow dry. She also does awesome ombré work. I love the salon. Good WiFi so I can work during the hair treatments, clean, everybody nice, individual work centers with some privacy, mini fridge with drinks, coffee, snacks. Very nice place. Downtown location a plus. But best part of it all is Mary Taormina. I am not easily satisfied with my hair but she makes sure it is a great haircut every time. Let me tell you this: I have thick hair and the amount is 1.5 times as much of the average person. Very hard to tame and keep under control especially with the short haircuts. But she manages it. I had a very short haircut right before SIP and 4 months later it still keeps looking as newly styled. Didn't go all crazy. So I said to myself, just for that I should write a review for her. I went on couple international trips where haircut is way cheaper but i didn't dare mess up the style I had. Actually when I just went for a blow dry, the hairdressers there always asked which coiffure's great work that was. It is normally hard to hear a stylist there complimenting another one, so I was extra happy. To top it all, she is super friendly and fun to talk to. Always nice and supportive. And once I went in and I said I want to shorten my hair by 10 inches. Because I was stressed out and a hair style change sounded good at the time. She knew it.She told me she wouldn't do it unless I gave her like couple days heads up where I will get to rethink and change my mind or not. She said no last minute crazy decisions. when you make an appointment, request Rachael! she really knows what she's doing and did an absolutely AMAZING job on my hair. I usually don't write reviews but I am so pleased with my appointment that I have to let everyone know. I went in for a partial highlight, and it looks so great that someone even made a comment the next day saying "your hair is so pretty and it's natural, huh?". Rachael never rushed and she was so careful and meticulous, but not too slow at the same time, and I have A LOT of hair. She made sure she was taking small enough strands to highlight that it looks completely natural, unlike highlights I've gotten in the past where they just take huge pieces. I have never loved my hair this much and seriously can't stop looking at it! It is the best coloring I have ever gotten, it's stunning. Rachael also informed me a ton about what hair products are the best and what I personally should use. I bought a lot of the things she recommended and uses herself and I can't say I've used anything that works as good as they do. Again, she really knows what she's doing. ASK FOR RACHAEL! Sorelle Salon is a classy establishment. Rachael is the absolute best stylist and color wizard! Rachael is the best at what she does! She takes her time and is meticulous about applying color the right way, the way it was meant to be applied and turn out when styled and dry. I got my base color, medium brown and "baby" lights on top of that. She took her time and applied it skillfully and took as much care as she would with her own hair or someone she cares about deeply, like a best friend. She didn't just slap on the highlights on chunks of hair, but rather, she carefully parted the hair then used her comb tool to further thin the sample she was about to dye. Then she systematically wrapped it in foil. My hair looked liked a perfectly organized rolodex of foil-wrapped hair! The care and time she took was amazing. Most would rush through it and do a mediocre job, with mediocre results. But what a difference. Rachael takes pride in what she does, and she also loves what she does and it shows! The result is a sun-kissed natural looking babylight that literally turned back the clock at least 2-4 years on my age. The result is amazing. I absolutely love it! Rachael is a gem of a stylist, so be sure to ask for her! You won't be disappointed. Rachael also cut my hair and transformed my look. My hair was long and chemically damaged. She cut my hair into a "clava" cut, which she told me is a trend now. The "clava" cut is a haircut that is clavicle length. It came out great. It transformed my look and made me look younger and more professional, yet fun at the same time. Wowza! I treated myself to this special cut and color, and what a treat it is. Rachael is also an expert at giving a truly relaxing shampoo experience. She massages and works in the shampoo into the scalp, and it's a real bonus! Others would give just an ordinary shampoo, but it's like a mini-spa treatment right at the sink station! It's wonderful. Also, the salon receptionist calls 24 hours in advance to confirm your appointment which is a nice professional touch. The cost is in line with the results. You get what you pay for. For fantastic results, there is a price, but it is very much worth it, and it's NOT OVER-priced. It's fair. You can't put a price on looking great. Great new salon in downtown Campbell, owned by two sisters (hence the name). Most of the customers (including me) followed the sisters and the other staff from their previous salons. I imagine they get some walk-ins too since they're so close to the Campbell main drag. I don't get my hair done here (Amy @ Hair Mechanics, a mile or so west on Campbell), but I go to Kellene religiously every three weeks to tame my eyebrows. She is excellent - there is far less pain than I would have imagined possible considering the quality of my previous waxers. The salon is new, all dark wood and mirrors, super-clean, and filled with pretty girls making other girls prettier. It smells great, and has those little touches of pampering you want to find when you escape to a salon - wine and snacks, comfy couches and good magazines, friendly staff. The salon is lovely and has a great location in downtown Campbell. There is a parking lot behind the building, so that's nice. I went to the salon was for a hair cut. Time was a big factor for me, so I just booked my appointment based on that. I really lucked out with Stephanie though! She was very friendly and did a great job. We had a nice chat while she got to work, she made sure to check in and ask me how I wanted my cut, and I felt like she actually cares a lot about what she does and really enjoys it. That's a great quality that's often overlooked! One of the cool features is that the main salon is divided into lovely little cubicles for each stylist. The cubicles are fully stocked and also have a hair washing sink. So finally, no more walking through the whole salon to some dark back room and then being led all the way back to the other side of the salon with a towel on your head! Awesome, love it. I was having trouble finding a trustworthy hair stylist. My hair was off color and very dry and damaged to begin with. I called Sorelle last mintue and they were able to set me an appointment on the very same day. They set my appointmnent with Stephanie Tsutsui. I was a bit iffy and nervous at first, but I decided to take a chance. Let me tell you, it was the best experiences ever! Stephanie was awaesome! She took her time on my hair making sure my hair turn out the way I wanted. She put this protein conditioner on my hair and OMG! my hair feels alive and healthy. It's less frizzier!! Thank God! This place is definitely all it's cracked up to be. I happened upon it doing the downtown Campbell wine walk and noticed how awesomely decorated and clean the salon was, and how upscale everything looked. Not only do they have private cubicles in the center of the store but also even MORE private 'offices' along the wall. I thought, 'no way I could afford this place', but I talked to a stylist and the haircut price was very reasonable! I had a great experience with the stylist Tracy, who was very friendly and professional and gave me a really cute (and much needed) haircut. Plus you can't beat the complimentary wine they offer! For the price range it is worth the little extra for such pampering, but not much more than a medium end salon without the ambiance. I'm very happy with my haircut, the nice Redken products they used, and the relaxing experience.
