She really has so much experience into hair types/hairstyles and knew exactly what I was going for when I shared an inspiration pic. She gave me a razor cut akin to a work of art. Both times I've left feeling like my hair and brows were looking better than I could have expected! Terri is AMAZING - and now she's opened her own salon. Tucked away in a little strip mall on Los Gatos Blvd, this little place was like a mini-retreat. It was quiet, it was beautifully decorated (why is it that hairdressers always have the best taste in decor?), even the waiting area chairs were so comfy I almost fell asleep. Not to mention the great cut, color, and style I got for the same great price (no price hike even with the move...thanks, Terri) I've been going to Terri forever at Salon Rache, but I just loved her new salon, and it's clear she takes a LOT of pride in having her own place, and making sure her customers are satisfied and comfortable. Somehow with all her clients she always remembers the quirks I have about my hair (don't blend it too much on the sides, be careful with the bangs cause of those evil frizzy hairs that do awful things if they get cut short) and genuinely cares about making customer look beautiful in their own way. 5 stars all the way. read more

Michelle is an exceptionally talented hairstylist. I've had her cut, color, and treat my hair to make it healthier, stronger and look amazing! She has done long cuts/short cuts, bangs, and various colors from red to dark brown to light brown with a multitude of shades of highlights. I have been a loyal client of Sara's for many years and I will follow her anywhere. I'm so glad that she's at Tonic now; it's a warm and intimate studio and has a really relaxing vibe. It's very hard and rare to find a stylist that really cares about how you feel when you walk out of her chair.
