I don't get my hair done anywhere else, as soon as my mom and I found daydream salon we have been die-hard committed. The entire experience is so incredibly lovely, from the drinks they have available, the chocolates, the comfortable couch, and the cute decorations. I bought a groupon for Keratin Stratening by Stephanie and I very happily made an appointment. I was welcomed nicely and she was chatty all along so I was very happy and expected good results based on her demeanor. Unfortunately when i washed my hair it was all damaged and not straight at all. I called and left a message trying to find some help and I got a message from her saying keratin is not fro stratening but just to remove frizz. I have done keratin stratening several times before and for after results I had my hair silky smooth and straight. This is the first time it has damaged my hair and the hair is more worse than before I went there. It is very wavy and am not been able to manage it. I would not go to her. I've had my hair done by 5 people and no one has been able to give me what I wanted until today. By far one of my favorite stylists now. Elizabeth did such an amazing job she delivered exactly what I wanted. Bottom half of my hair was already pretty lightened and grey but I wanted it to be higher and to leave a bit of my roots so that it would grow out nicely. She is super sweet and makes good conversation with you it was nice being able to create that connection. The whole time she constantly checked up on me and let me know every step she was taking and every product she was using on me. Most stylists don't really mention things like that so it was nice to be a part of the process. After my hair was curled Elizabeth and I were so happy with how it came out it was perfectly blended and everything. I can't stop looking at it :) The salon is super cute and feels very homey. At our latest appointment, I changed things up on her again, deciding I wanted a different cut and color than usual (this is not the first time I've wanted something new), and she always hits the nail on the head perfectly. I walked into Daydream Salon with my fingers crossed to get a last minute appointment two days before my brothers wedding in Chicago. And the kind receptionist found an appointment for me at 5pm. I was floored and super excited about my hair appointment. Seeing that she was so kind and inviting I knew the experience would already be worth the money. I came back to me appointment at 5pm and was greeted and offered some tea and snacks. Within in a couple minutes my stylist named Elizabeth took me in, Let me just say that I haven't had my hair cut or dyed at a salon in years at least 5 years minimum.
