So cute. This is one of those train car style diners with stainless steel and it has so many of the original features. It's very retro looking. The place is cozy and clean. They have traditional diner fare as well as South American favorites. The Chilaquiles is Mexican and I could have added eggs with the sausage, but this was lunch and I had already had eggs for breakfast. The chilaquiles verde was delicious (a bit spicy so be warned in case you don't like heat). There were two of us a w he had a grilled chicken Caesar wrap (spinach wrap) and enjoyed it very much. He said it was fresh and perfect. Also note, cash is king here. No credit cards of any of that, so come hungry and prepared with cash.

This diner has a great atmosphere and was greeted, without fail i always have a great experience here, the staff are friendly, and the service is great, the food is absolutely delicious the taquitos have beans and sour cream, it's flavorful and i always order it. There was a new drink and it was horchata, i am a huge fan of horchata and very picky, and I can tell you for sure... the horchata is sweet delicious and tastes fresh and homemade , worth coming here !

Solid place for breakfast and lunch. The food is excellent and their service is friendly. Breakfast sandwich and cheesesteak for lunch are some of my favorites. Convenient parking in the rear, and reasonably priced also.

    Parking!

I was here the other morning and it was a very quaint classic diner! Very vintage and original interior. The bathrooms are new and clean. The prices were low for a New Jersey Diner and the food was great! This place takes grills very seriously, and we waited at most 15 minutes for our full meals! Very bright for a vintage diner and cute Americana theme! Cute flowers in the window and festive easter decor! The waiter who served us was very friendly. We didn't even sit without being greeted. He brought us water and our table was set immediately. My fiance ordered a milkshake which was delicious. However, there was only chocolate and strawberry. We ordered a homemade blueberry muffin and it was grilled (toasted) with a delicious coating of butter. The muffin may have been my favorite. I'm not a local but the place seemed very local, which I love! patrons were greeted by name, which I love to see. Families, and single people at the bar alike enjoyed their meals. This is for anyone who doesn't know its a prefabricated factory-built dinner. AKA vintage. For that reason, the inside is in amazing condition while maintaining its original form. The grill is out of view to give a more modern look! My Fiance got the french toast and it was a HEALTHY portion! Very yummy, soft, and flaky. We got the texas toast. Real maple syrup, which I love. However, the parking is challenging. There is a spacious lot. However, it can be tricky to find! I ordered the avocado toast. I really enjoyed it. The bread was toasted before so it was crispy and delicious. My only criticism of it was it kinda felt more like a guacamole mash, with lime, tomatoes, and hints of lime. This isn't my ideal avocado toast, but it was still a good meal! LOTS of avocados, so that is nice!

I of course used Yelp to find a good diner on my drive from New Brunswick to Atlantic City. I found Broad Street located in Keyport not far from the Garden State Parkway. It's your "classic" diner which has that 1950's vibe with the exterior and interior decor. Elvis paraphernalia is featured here. They had a busy lunch crowd. I sat at the counter and ordered a McCaffrey Wrap which comes with grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard. It was really good. The side of sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned just right. The staff were courteous and the service quick. There is a small parking lot that can accommodate about five cars. There was plenty of on street parking. The downtown area was nice and you can take a nice walk after dining here to the waterfront.

The only nit here is the pricing which is still very high. Not hard to spend $50 here with tip for breakfast for two people. If they were 10-15% cheaper I would be rating them (5) stars. But, be that as it may, we will breakfast here from time to time.

He was interestingly hanging out in the back of the (nearly empty) place not doing much of anything. Key context -- we had a kid with us, and we asked for that food to come out when it was ready. It did not. In fact, no food came out (note: one of the reasons we picked a diner like this is that we expected the orders to come out pretty quickly). I flagged someone down after a 15 or so minute wait to ask about the status and got a nonsense "it's on the way" response. At this point, our toddler is near meltdown, so we ask for it to go to avoid any further issues. I take the kiddo back to the hotel and my wife waits seemingly more time for them to pack up the order. One item is incorrect and another item (a fruit plate we ordered) is missing entirely. They fix the incorrect item, pack everything up, and when we go to eat it, I see a small handful of blueberries and 2 cut up strawberries as our $13 "fruit plate." Also, the food wasn't good, but to be expected after the comedy of errors it was in even getting our (correct) order. Just a pathetic and disgusting experience all around. NYC is such a great food city, and I can't believe we were unlucky enough to pick the worst one in the 5 boroughs.
