Hubs and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. The place was bustling but we were immediately seated. We were offered a large round table but we didn't feel right taking it in case there was a larger party coming in. So, we asked for another table and got one slightly smaller. Hubs ordered the Spanish omelette, which is stuffed and topped with salsa. He liked it and thought it was tasty. He thought it was fluffier than most places and that was appreciated. Everything from coffee to potatoes were good and satisfying. I had the Cali burger, which is charbroiled burger layered with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw red onions and mayo. It came out medium rare and it was soft and good. I liked it a lot. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu. read more

Let me start by saying I've patronized this diner for several years and never once experienced this until ownership and the staff changed. I met someone for breakfast today. We tried to order the one egg platter which clearly comes with either home fries or potato pancakes (picture attached). The waitress (Rosa) tried to charge us for an up charge. When I said the menu clearly says either or is included, the response was well they're changing the menu it's a up charge. When I questioned it again the response was well prices are going up, the menus changing, and it shows a $2 charge in the computer. Well I'm sorry the public can't see your computer. Instead of just honoring what the menu clearly showed she just kept arguing with stupid excuses. I'll definitely never be back. read more

Stopped in for lunch. The staff was friendly and the menu was typical diner fare. The place is larger than it seems from the outside strip mall look and we were made comfortable before perusing the menu. We ordered a grilled chicken wrap and a bacon cheeseburger. You can't really go wrong with those at a diner and we were not disappointed. There's plenty of other choices to be had if you're so inclined and find yourself in the area. Perfect place to grab lunch while working, business meeting, etc. Parking is ample and simple. From the time you walk in you are welcomed by what seems like a nice family. I'm a simple woman, so when I eat at a diner, I judge it by how they serve my favorite diner standard: the French Dip Sandwich. Theirs is fantastic. Tender, flavorful, not overstuffed with meat, the bun is toasted with a welcome touch of garlic butter and the au jus is better than average. Fries were nice too; almost certainly a frozen variety but good quality. The atmosphere is just what you want for a diner; welcoming and cozy and clean with friendly service. Has a pretty classic look. Seats are reasonably comfy. Oh, and the prices aren't bad either, especially considering the quality. read more

Okay - I gave it another shot and I was impressed. The restaurant was slow but my server was attentive and stopped by my table to ask about my satisfaction. I ordered the Park Ave Eggs Benedict (added spinach and tomato) which was excellent. My home fries were cooked correctly (I asked for them to be well done and crispy) and the eggs perfectly poached. Atmosphere: The Park Ave Grille looks like you stepped into a time machine to the 80s. It's located in a large shopping center and attached to a laundry mat. The inside is small and seats about 30 people. There are plenty of booths, tables, and a bar. Most of the Park Ave Grille is covered in vintage wallpaper, booths, and an assortment of tea kettles.  It was much more unique than many diners! Coffee: The coffee was brewed hot and fresh each time. I appreciated that the mugs were sturdy.  The coffee was often refilled, and I have no complaints. Food: The Park Ave Diner has most anything you could want for breakfast or lunch.  The menu is low key and not many "fancy" items, but diners don't need to be.  There were all sorts of wraps, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items.  I decided to order the Monte Cristo sandwich which came with fries. I've never had a Monte Cristo sandwich and what better time to try one than a diner.  The bread was french toast and stuffed with turkey, ham, and cheddar cheese.  I feel like I've been missing out because the sandwich was excellent.  The french fries were some of the best I've had in a while.  To say the meal was surprisingly good, is an understatement. My husband and I dropped in on a Sunday after church and I was firstly so impressed by the owner, a young man military vet back from duty. I ordered the yogurt with berries, granola and Nutella and it was literal as beautiful as a work of art. I wish I'd taken a picture then. It was every bit as yummy too. We will definitely be back. Place has new owners that have made great changes. They are now open 7 days a week with extended hours, the menu has grown, they take credit cards and all the new ways to pay, took down some of the Knick knacks, and spruced up the outside eating area. This should be everyone's go to place!! The food is always amazing...the service is always spot on!! If you want great food with a twist come here. They offer gluten free and will always take special diets and requests by anyone who comes in. If this wasn't reason enough to come, Erin and her husband have always been big supporters of the town and really went above & beyond during Covid to make sure the town had great food for take out and they silently donated 1000s of meals to families in need In addition to this they continue to be a main contributor to the Thank a Cop program, whereby they send food to various police precincts to thank them for their service. Small little place in a strip mall. You can miss it if you are driving too fast. Someone recommended the walnut cranberry french toast which was really good. I would suggest getting the brandy syrup on the side because otherwise it is drenched in it and could make fresh toast soggy. The eggs benedict was also quality. They do it right for a diner. This place all starts with Sue the owner- the nicest friendliest person you'll ever meet. The entire menu looks delicious, but I was in a Jack Johnson type of mood and I went with banana pancakes for breakfast that were cooked to perfection. They were HUGE. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Our server was friendly, kind, and quick. Your typical friendly hometown diner. I was able to grab a seat at the counter right as I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly staff. Menu had your typical breakfast items, aside from the breakfast quesadilla which stood out to me. I'm a huge sucker for Mexican inspired egg creations. Taste-wise, pretty good. Would get again, however if I was to nitpick, I'd have them cut it into fewer portions. The innards were spilling out whenever I tried to pick it up which proved to be a slightly messy experience. The home fries were also lacking the crispiness I often long for from diners. They are cash only which was a bit annoying, as I had to walk to the convenience store to take out cash and was charged a fee, but there was a sign on the door. I have been going to Park Ave Grille for years. It is a great place for breakfast or lunch. It is standard diner food but everything is always good. The service is excellent too, everyone is super friendly and even when they are busy it is super quick. I really haven't had anything I didn't like from Park Ave. I would definitely recommend trying their homemade corned beef hash, it's so tasty! Also when they have tomato soup as the soup of the day you have to try it, it's the best tomato soup I've ever had. I really love their fries too!! read more

I took my 93 year old mother for lunch last week. I ordered for her a hot dog in a hot dog bun like you would order for a child. A different waitress brings the meal and it is 2 hot dogs on a hero. I told her this isn't what I ordered from the original waitress and could she bring it on a hot dog roll like you would serve to s child. She apologized and came back with the hot dogs on a kaiser roll...really?? Now the original waitress comes back and asks "is everything ok"? "No...I asked for a hot dog roll. How would you serve this to a kid"? She said she didn't know what was going on either.
