If l could give -100 stars l would. My husband went to see about a replacement part for my little tiller and the shop manager said his guys wouldn't even want to work on it. Then as my husband left the shop, heard the same guy talking about him to his staff and they were all laughing and making fun of him. My husband is an older guy and he did that as a favor to me. I know my tiller is small, but it does the job for what l use it for. Its like they couldn't be bothered. Well, l worked for Chick fil A for 25 years and that's the POOREST excuse for customer service l've ever heard of! They should be ashamed picking on an older person like that--especially laughing at him. Needless to say they lost a customer. We'll never use them again. read more

They had the belt that I needed for my riding mower. They were neutral to deal with. Not the friendliest treatment but not at all anything that could be described as unfriendly. I got my part and left in minutes and had no interest in returning... It is surprising how much a friendly environment promotes returning to an establishment versus the absence of the welcoming atmosphere. read more

DO NOT....go here. OVERPRICED JOKE! I took my mower in and plainly explained to them that the carb was malfunctioning. I also had new blades, that I purchased elsewhere, and asked them to install. They told me that the carb would need to be replaced, I said OK, and that I needed "service two" then gave me a form and told me to check the box "service two." I picked up the mower next day, and a few days later had to cut my lawn. It ran the same!!!! They did not replace the carb. Charged $175.00 for a tune up and blade installed (I provided the blades). I called and they told me that all they did was "service two," They did not replace the carb!!! And no apologies, no explanations. I had others who'd told me not to go to Sosebee, I didn't listen!!! I have lived in Gwinnett since 1996 and have driven by this place countless times. Today, my Honda Lawnmower decided it was time for service and after calling a few places and hearing of extremely long service times, I called Sosebee and was surprised at a shorter timeframe than most. I take the mower in and get the paperwork completed and then decided to ask if they took trade-ins and the answer was yes. So after looking at similar units to what I already had, I decided to purchase at what I think was a very fair trade and price. I took my Toro mower to Sosebee's in May and got the belt replaced on the self propel and the battery changed. Got it home and it worked great for a couple of weeks. Then the self-propel stopped working and the battery would not charge. I had to keep using the mower to keep the lawn cut. I called and spoke to Mr. Sosebee and he said to bring it in and they would put it at the front of the line. Well I finally got a chance to bring it in and they fixed it in three hours. I went back in the afternoon and picked it up. Seems a sweet gum ball (can't stand the prickly balls) had gotten lodged in the belt and ripped it so that's why the self propel wouldn't work. The battery was defective and under warranty so it was replaced. They also replaced the 22" blade. It runs great now and I'm glad as I was getting tired of pushing it up the hill. Stephanie Trotter and her team did a great job getting right to the repair and I really appreciate it. I've used other repair shops but Sosebee gets my vote for the best. Thanks again! read more

No, no. Stay away! I had gone to this place twice for repairs and my experience was not pleasant both times. Everything posted here about scheduled repairs are true. I had my tractor tires repaired here and they said it would be ready that evening. Not only did it take them 2 days to fix it, but for the fee they charged me, I could have bought new tires installed. Same with my chainsaw blade sharpening ordeal here. It was another horrible experience. The service is horrible! read more

I've both bought equipment here and had service done by the shop. I would not recommend the shop in that too many things have gone wrong with the scheduled repairs I've had done there. The store has a good inventory of equipment and it's fun to go in and look at everything! read more

Customer service and responsibility is HORRIBLE. Don't tell a customer that you can fix something if you cannot. Had us pay for the services and brought our lawn mower out my husband immediately knew something was not right. When he complained that the technicians response was "yeah it was really hard to put back together. Something else is wrong. " why the hell would you not call your customer and let them know you see something else wrong???? Then also complain about the work. My husband refused to take it without it being looked at again and fixed. Aaron told him well we usually don't work on troybilts. They are hard for us. Well then you should have never taken the job in the first place if you couldn't do the work. I am disappointed that they tried to give it back to us worse then how we brought it and not say a word. That is scamming and scandalous. They had it for almost 3 weeks to originally fix two drive belts. The mower is less than a year old and it now drives like it is about to fall apart. NEVER use this company. They don't care about their customers, quality of work, or scamming. read more

Maybe I just got lucky but I had a great experience. I think it was with one of the owners, had the last name of Sosebee. Anyway, I needed a Honda lawnmower air filter, they ended up talking to me about the problem and upon their suggestion I bought a carb and gaskets for it as well. They took the time to make sure I had what was needed, and printed out a parts list and drawing for me. Installed all the parts and my mower runs like brand new. Very impressed with them. read more

Whatever you do, NEVER do business with this company. WOW! Is all that I can say. My fiancee took our lawnmower here last Saturday to be repaired. After only two uses on my brand new lawnmower, I added too much oil and flooded the carburetor. We knew it needed a new one. We finally took it somewhere to be repaired. When it was dropped off, we were told that it would be ready Tuesday and would cost about $60. On Tuesday, we were told it would now not be ready until Friday because they ordered the wrong one. We were also informed that the one we needed would cost more and that the price of the repair would be $110. Keep in mind, they have never called us to tell us any of this along the way, we have had to chase them down for information. When we go to pick it up today we hear that they had to do and oil change and filter replacement on the mower and it was now going to be $150. Cliff was furious. When he questioned why they would not call to tell us before doing any other work, or even call to say "hey, the part costs way more than we expected, do you still want to do it" is beyond excusable. One gentleman did say at the time we dropped it off that he thought we could go buy a new one for $150. However, to us, a $60 repair is better than $150. They were rude when we brought the lack of professionalism to their attention. What did they do to make up for it? Took off like $10 for the oil change and filter that they did not ask about adding into the cost in the first place. Sad, we love doing business with small local companies. All I can say is to NEVER do business with them. I am very disappointed. read more

funny thing is, far too many people go in and act like they know what they are talking about and don't really know jack. Therefore the person that does know what they are talking about sounds like Greek to the customer and to try to save face the customers will say bad things about a place and the people they don't really know. NO! I am not related to any one there, I don't and have never have worked there. As far as I know Sosebee's has been in the same place for about 40 years, maybe more. They must be doing something right. I live near Athens and have driven to Lawrenceville many times just to make sure I get what I need.
