    RSSA fabricator left a hole in our newly rototilled and seeded lawn breaking the brick path and damaging the driveway.

    I am assisting with a build for an ADU for a terminally ill young woman who is also deaf and mute, and fighting daily for her life and whose days are numbered. We wanted it to be her dream house that she had saved for so she could have caretakers around the clock. I was using RSSA and was excited to find out they covered so many needs of ours.... until it happened. Dropped tens of thousands of dollars from toilets to laundry appliances to kitchen appliances, cabinets, vanities etc... and then the orders one at a time became problematic. Oven Range hood missing the main glass piece, then they lied and said it wasn't. They wanted to charge 20% to exchange it. Then they made another shipment missing one of the two $2,000 toilet. Then it was one thing after the other. Sadly I should have stopped but it was too late as I was counting on it all. They pushed us to purchase a sink with them and the final push was it comes with a grill and a strainer and so for the extra $400 and convenience we agreed and those 2 items were missing. Ali's response? First he blamed it on the GC, who is on video tape 24/7, then he said "Oh they are not important and people dont use them anyway". Yet that is why I bought from them over Home Depot. Then... Our $6,000 countertop to be installed over our $8,000 cabinets by the installer in the video attached. He is in the white truck. Notice how he drove on our brand new 3 week old seeding that was just leveled and rototilled and had new sprinklers, and notice the yellow tape he broke driving over. Note that the countertop is for the BACK HOUSE, why would he be driving on the front lawn? All the space in the street? Why? When I reported this to Ali, the son of the owner, I expected to hear "dont worry we will fix that!" instead he argued: "that wasn't our guy and then when I told him we have the license number, he goes on to say he is not on our lawn". At that point i put this on another person for him to fix it with us. He never did. I posted a yelp review and the video and he begged us to take it down to give him time. I took it down even offered to buy more cabinets to offset his damages, but instead he keeps sending a sales person who is playing games with our time and nothing. Twice he went, wasted our time, we had to pay management to drive three hours and then didn't fix anything. Broken promises! The cabinets were incorrectly sized (designed by his rep) and his nasty sister Ranna screamed at me saying that they are experts on design and there is no way anything is wrong. Ali goes back and forth between being that really nice next-door guy that doesnt want to do anyone wrong to a complete maniac denying or lying through his teeth. As I told him I just want it fixed. The owner moved in December its now June and they are yet to correct their cabinets. there are no tops four doors that were made an inch too big thanks to their bad calculations and faulty designs, the countertops have scratches from installation and they installed one inch too much on one side. completely their fault. They want me to compromise and they refuse to do anything to fix it. How could they do this to a person who worked her whole life and is now spending it on medical and caretakers. They took her money and screwed her over. Just unbelievable. Do not do business until they fix this.     BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! Slowest company in the world!! Worst customer service EVER! I ordered fixtures back in August '19 for 4 bathrooms in my home we completely remodeled. After 2 months they were finally in. When I went to pick them up, they were all polished nickel .... not what I ordered!! I ordered different finishes for each bathroom. They said they would fix it. That was in October '19. Today is June '20 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE FIXTURES. They had from October to April to make them the correct finishes and they just kept giving me the run around. I unfortunately have already paid for them. Next they started blaming Covid-19 on the delay and now they are not returning phone calls or emails. We have worked with the owner's daughter and also a lady named Theresa. I don't like complaining to businesses, I know delays happen. But this is ridiculous. We have 6 people in our house and 1 working shower. I have finally reached the end of my patience. This is just the first step I am taking.

    Didn't buy anything this time. But they are good. Knowledgeable, and great selection on the floor. A real treat to see.

    Great In-Store Service, Terrible Customer Support Hotline…read more I ordered two medicine cabinets from Lowe's because they were in stock (even though they were slightly more expensive than Home Depot). Shipping was supposed to take 5 days, but when the delivery came, I only received one cabinet--the second box was a random piece of luggage I didn't order. Calling customer service made things worse. Abigale was unhelpful, gave contradictory answers about a discount, and hung up on us after we asked to speak with a manager. When I called back, Tina (a manager) still couldn't resolve the issue. Also, be aware: debit card refunds can take 3-10 days, and they won't guarantee any discounts over the phone. On the positive side, the in-store experience completely turned things around. At my local Anaheim Lowe's, Kayah in returns was great and made me feel valued. She brought in the store manager, Edward, who handled everything professionally and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Bottom line: Store employees like Kayah and Edward are excellent. The customer service hotline is extremely frustrating--skip the phone and go straight to the store.

I was standing in the self checkout line when there was one self checkout line with their lights turned on, which means it's working. I asked the staff is that checkout stand working she said yes, but it's not available so we waited a few minutes more. No one was there and I said how come it's not available she said someone is going to come back because they forgot an item. So if that customer is not ready to check out, cancel their whole transaction so that another customer who is ready could use the self checkout stand. That is so fucking selfish of them. Time is money and my time is very valuable too. This is so uncalled for an unnecessary. If the customer is not ready, cancel their transaction when they are ready to pay then start. The girl who was helping her name is SALVIA. Bad, poor customer service. I think she shouldn't be working at Lowe's if she does not like to deal with customers go find another job. You don't have to make a customer look stupid by saying oh just stay in line which I already was. You don't have to state the obvious. Stupid girl.

    This is the absolute friendliest Home Depot that I have even been to. Stopped in to buy moving…read moreboxes, and must've been greeted at least 10 different times. As for the store itself, it's your usual Home Depot set up. Nothing special about, as they all the same. But this location gets 5 stars for being so welcoming. I requested cash back for the return, and the cashier told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have cash in the register and would have to get it from the back. I asked if they could get it, and instead I was told to go to a different store. I asked to speak with a manager, and as the manager was coming over, the cashier suddenly started processing my cash refund. I didn't come in upset, but that situation was frustrating because they lied, instead of simply trying to help. When I spoke with the manager, Jason, he was being dismissive instead of trying to understand the situation. He kept repeating, "Well, you have your money, right?" rather than addressing the service. I asked for a business card or contact information for someone above the store level, and I was told they didn't have anything available. One that's unprofessional. Two I don't know if that was true. My issue wasn't the return itself. I got my money back. My issue was the lack of professionalism and the way the situation was handled. Good customer service means communicating honestly and treating customers with respect. I understand retail can be stressful, but being rude or dismissive only makes a simple situation worse. They were being rude and egging me on of course I'm gonna be upset.

With its eye-catching exterior, this large hardware store is reminiscent of the old west...& for some reason reminded me of a giant log-ride themed attraction at an old west themed amusement park. Pretty cool! Established in 1884, Ganahl Lumber began selling cement & lumber in the L.A. area. They eventually expanded to various locations (including the Anaheim location opening in 1904), & now offer lumber, paint, cement, doors & windows, hardware, moulding, novelty nostalgic candies & snacks, & much more. I'd been curious about the Anaheim location for years, so when the need arose & I was in the area, I had to check them out. Upon entry, there are interesting historic facts about Ganahl & cool artifacts on display. The store is huge, & they have a large selection of stock that you may not find at some of the larger chain big-box store. It's a gigantic version of an old-fashioned neighborhood hardware store! With the exception of the helpful reps in the paint department (where they carry Benjamin Moore), the only downside I experienced with this location has been the disappointing level of customer service. After being practically ignored during in-person visit & also encountering condescending/rude reps on the telephone, unfortunately, I do not plan to return to this location. As much as I like the store itself, the level of customer service I've experienced has been so bad that unfortunately I do not plan to return. With that said, however, everyone's experiences may vary (some good...some bad). One thing for sure: If you're a history buff looking for a hard-to-find item, Ganahl Lumber in Anaheim just may be worth a visit.
