The most unprofessional "family-owned business" They don't have any business ethics. At RSSA they just have just one thing in mind; profits before ethics. They will only allocate minutes to planning a project with you otherwise they want a deposit to even help. I lost a 1k deposit with them even though they didn't have a written terms agreement the employee that was initially helping us quit and we didn't like anyone else's customer service (Very rude and rushed). I wanted my deposit back and they refused Ali, which is the owner is on a high horse and money hungry. I'm surprise he's not part of Trumps cabinet, since he fits the characteristics needed to fit right in there. Anyways....Places I recommend that help you and like any good business "risk" not possibly getting the customer even if time is allocated consulting. (Lindsey)...They will design and not charge you for it, even if you don't buy....They understand the cost of doing good business. Tile and Countertops: Gramar Stone in Anaheim (Maria) ... Faucets & Fixtures in Orange: They will help you design and help you professionally. Their location is very clean and not cluttered or disorganized like RSSA. Spent over $25k here, left with a huge mess of broken merch and broken promises. The geniuses ordered our cabinets in wrong size they insisted they would fix it. Led us on wild goose chase. This was way back in August 2023, house was built and completed and these people still haven't fixed their mess. What's more is their installer destroyed our brand newly seeded landscape. They even denied it in spite we have it on video. Who drives on a front lawn... the delivery was even for back house! I am very sick and terminal and they're just playing games with no intent to fix it. My management company couldn't resolve it then I took over and the owner is a 5 year old with a huge ego. I am assisting with a build for an ADU for a terminally ill young woman who is also deaf and mute, and fighting daily for her life and whose days are numbered. We wanted it to be her dream house that she had saved for so she could have caretakers around the clock. I was using RSSA and was excited to find out they covered so many needs of ours.... until it happened. Dropped tens of thousands of dollars from toilets to laundry appliances to kitchen appliances, cabinets, vanities etc... and then the orders one at a time became problematic. Oven Range hood missing the main glass piece, then they lied and said it wasn't. They wanted to charge 20% to exchange it. Then they made another shipment missing one of the two $2,000 toilet. Then it was one thing after the other. Sadly I should have stopped but it was too late as I was counting on it all. They pushed us to purchase a sink with them and the final push was it comes with a grill and a strainer and so for the extra $400 and convenience we agreed and those 2 items were missing. Ali's response? First he blamed it on the GC, who is on video tape 24/7, then he said "Oh they are not important and people dont use them anyway". Yet that is why I bought from them over Home Depot. Then... Our $6,000 countertop to be installed over our $8,000 cabinets by the installer in the video attached. He is in the white truck. Notice how he drove on our brand new 3 week old seeding that was just leveled and rototilled and had new sprinklers, and notice the yellow tape he broke driving over. Note that the countertop is for the BACK HOUSE, why would he be driving on the front lawn? All the space in the street? Why? When I reported this to Ali, the son of the owner, I expected to hear "dont worry we will fix that!" instead he argued: "that wasn't our guy and then when I told him we have the license number, he goes on to say he is not on our lawn". At that point i put this on another person for him to fix it with us. He never did. I posted a yelp review and the video and he begged us to take it down to give him time. I took it down even offered to buy more cabinets to offset his damages, but instead he keeps sending a sales person who is playing games with our time and nothing. Twice he went, wasted our time, we had to pay management to drive three hours and then didn't fix anything. Broken promises! The cabinets were incorrectly sized (designed by his rep) and his nasty sister Ranna screamed at me saying that they are experts on design and there is no way anything is wrong. Ali goes back and forth between being that really nice next-door guy that doesnt want to do anyone wrong to a complete maniac denying or lying through his teeth. As I told him I just want it fixed. The owner moved in December its now June and they are yet to correct their cabinets. there are no tops four doors that were made an inch too big thanks to their bad calculations and faulty designs, the countertops have scratches from installation and they installed one inch too much on one side. completely their fault. They want me to compromise and they refuse to do anything to fix it. How could they do this to a person who worked her whole life and is now spending it on medical and caretakers. They took her money and screwed her over. Just unbelievable. Do not do business until they fix this. I do a lot of remodeling projects in the Orange County area and RSSA is my go-to supplier. They are family-owned, incredibly knowledgeable, and have a huge selection and showroom. I have worked with the owners, Ali on several occasions and Ranna for the appliances and fixtures. I am always greeted warmly (sometimes fed!), and always find what I need, whether it is basic hardware or something more complicated and hard-to-find. My first visit was 12 years ago when I was looking for a compact stove for a nearby renovation. I called my plumber and asked if he had any recommendations on where to look. He said, "go to RSSA, they have everything." He was right, they had one on display that I could take with me and I was ready to go. Over the next decade I've done many more projects with them and sent all my clients their way because I know they will get the complete service experience. I suggest making an appointment because the home remodel process is complicated. I have been there from 1 to 5 hours based on the amount of product we're putting together, and sometimes require a few more visits. So if you're in a time crunch keep that in mind. All in all I can't say enough great things about the store and the family running it. You don't find this type of business these days with everything turning very corporate and cold. It's hard to find salespeople with experience and true knowledge of what works in our industry. This eliminates a lot of headaches I've experienced shopping elsewhere in the past. We purchased appliances for our entire kitchen remodel a few years back. Worked with Ray (the owner), who was very helpful and professional. We spent nearly $20,000 on a new top-end Thermador refrigerator, double oven, drawer microwave, dishwasher and a nice wine frig. Recently, our microwave went out and I called RSSA in order to replace our $2,200 microwave. Spoke with a man, who never called back, never emailed a quote, as he said he would do and absolutely dropped the ball. This is even after I repeatedly called RSSA to follow-up. As a result, we will NEVER do future business or recommend the store to anyone. Went to Pacific Sales in Brea and they were wonderful. Bought the microwave on the spot and had it professionally installed 3 days later. RSSA is simply not the same place it was since Ray retired. We ordered faucets, shower fixtures, tub filler and a soaking tub. Teresa was a fantastic sales person and was very responsive to all of our questions from our initial visit to ordering all the items we needed. We had some issues with a shower valve made by phylrich and a scratched soaking tub. The great customer service from Teresa was evident when we had to exchange the free standing tub that was scratched when we opened the box. Teresa arranged the exchange for a new tub and helped us deal with Phylrich. I highly recommend RSSA for all your home fixtures and Teresa, I will be a customer for life. read more

Ordered a kitchen faucet and took a little longer to arrive and came in broken. I discovered it when my wife brought it home. Needless to say I was not very happy. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! Slowest company in the world!! Worst customer service EVER! I ordered fixtures back in August '19 for 4 bathrooms in my home we completely remodeled. After 2 months they were finally in. When I went to pick them up, they were all polished nickel .... not what I ordered!! I ordered different finishes for each bathroom. They said they would fix it. That was in October '19. Today is June '20 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE FIXTURES. They had from October to April to make them the correct finishes and they just kept giving me the run around. I unfortunately have already paid for them. Next they started blaming Covid-19 on the delay and now they are not returning phone calls or emails. We have worked with the owner's daughter and also a lady named Theresa. I don't like complaining to businesses, I know delays happen. But this is ridiculous. We have 6 people in our house and 1 working shower. I have finally reached the end of my patience. This is just the first step I am taking. read more

My wife and I bought our new house and we went to RSSA for help with our kitchen. Ranna helped us out and she was most helpful. There was no question she didn't have the answer for and every suggestion was great. She was able to stick to our budget and style. We are doing this mostly on our own so having Ranna's help took some of that stress off our shoulders. In doing so she helped shape what I consider the heart of the house into a beautiful kitchen. after my last visit I ended up buying quite a bit of stuff for my home improvement projects. The faucet I received was defective, contacted them worked with Charles I was sent an replacement sprayer piece to replace the defective one. sure enough replacement piece stopped working (there faucet is prob just subpar quality) contacted them again (Charles is not longer with the company) was working with Carlos I think he is the manager? how he got there is mind boggling emailed him all the information he wanted, he replied said he was looking into it, I sent 2 follow up emails for status update in a 5 week period and got zero response from them. I had high hopes coming to this store. I need (still need) an adapter for my faucet to connect it to a portable washing machine. My first experience was a little bumpy, but the store owners were really nice and helped me. However, the rest of my experience was not great. The employee who helped me, David, was not very responsive and I felt like he didn't care if he found the part I needed or not. I had to keep calling just to get an update, and every time I would call, he was never available. If it hadn't been for the fact that the store owners were really nice, I would give this store 1 star for the poor customer service. I put up with their arrogance to get the bathtub fixture my wife wanted and paid what I thought was a very high price. Had to wait several weeks for the shipping (during the pandemic) but my wife was happy with the fixture. Had a plumber accidently ruin the finish and had to find another fixture to replace so I tried Amazon ... had the exact same item at one third the price and delivered in two days! read more

Place will try to sell you the most expensive product lines they have. Even when similar more affordable items are available they wont guide u to them unless your press them. By the way David is one very rude employee and the main reason for the 1 star. David will talk over you on the phone and even hung up on me mid sentence. David next time listen to the customer and if the customer asks you a question like "who should I ask for when I come in", please give me a straight answer. Talk to Adriana Andrade ( Awesome Customer/Sales Rep) She doesn't pressure you or steer you to buy the most expensive things, She does have knowledge in all of her products and Good Taste in things for what would look good in the house. With our case though, I was there with my Dad since he is remodeling his house and We were crunched on time because of meeting with clients, opening the doors for the contractors working in his house, Doctor appointments so apologies Adriana for little time (if you're reading this). WE didn't have much time to spend with her like a customer does, even get the specs or sit and compare prices for that item with her. I really had an awful experience at RSSA. I came in on a Saturday looking for a new tub faucet and valve for our master bathroom. I explained that we were in a bit of a rush and needed something asap. David was the rep who helped me and i found him to be knowledgeable and patient. We agreed on a faucet and he told me the faucet would ship out the following week and arrive a few days later-- it was coming from Costa Mesa and my home was only 20 miles away. I took the valve home the same day. A week later the faucet had not arrived nor had a tracking number. I called RSSA and spoke to David. Because it was Saturday he couldn't reach the manufacturer and i'd have to wait until Tuesday (it was Labor Day weekend) to find out what was going on. I was pretty upset given that there was no communication about the delay nor a tracking number. In the end, I canceled the faucet (I told David that I'd just return it when it finally showed up) and got a replacement the same day at a local plumbing supply store in Gardena. The next week the faucet still hadn't arrived so I called David again. Turns out the faucet never shipped so there was nothing for me to return. Funny... since that meant a full week had elapsed between when I ordered and canceled and my faucet hadn't shipped. read more

I now have 2 nonfunctional trash compactors that are brand new. They sold them to me and I have been waiting for someone to come to repair because they won't let me return them. I purchased a 20" range from RSSA about 2 weeks ago. First off they told me it would be in within 3 days, a week later I called asking about the whereabouts of the range and they said they didn't know and would call me back. They never called me back. I called a 2 days later and they said they had it. When I went to go pick it up it wasn't the range I ordered. When I told them this they claimed that the one I had looked at was not available in the 20" size. I guess they sold me an item that didn't existed in the specifications I wanted, even though I took a picture of the floor model I wanted and showed them that it did exist. Also, the hose they sold me was the wrong size. I ended with a range i did not want, and had no way of getting the one i had chosen. I will not be giving them my business again. read more

Ignored for first 15 minutes. Which is fine by me because I usually want to be left alone to look. And there was a lot to see. I spent a good 20 minutes just browsing the first level which is primarily bath, hardware and plumbing. Upstairs, I was offered help immediately and I'm kicking myself for not remembering the guy's name because he was super engaged. Really wanted to help. I don't find salespeople typically to be sincere, but this appliance salesman seems to be a rare breed, who actually enjoys his work. Refreshing. They have lots of cabinet and range brands that you won't find at Home Depot or Best Buy, so go if for no other reason than to enjoy the eye candy of products. read more

We were remodeling our house and our contractor sent us to RSSA for appliances. We had already done the usual round of Home Depot, Pacific Sales and Pirch (had a terrible experience at Pirch) and skipped my earlier favorite- Monark- coz my sales guy was not working there. We met Ranna at RSSA and she was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions and doubts. They have a huge collection of appliances and you can get lost in there! They also carry bathroom fittings and mirrors and lights and what nots. It really is a one stop shop for your remodeling needs. We ended up picking a relatively new or unknown brand- Bertazonni and was very worried about after sales service. RSSA and David gave us very good pricing on these and kept us updated on delivery dates. Our refrigerator unfortunately arrived damaged but David was able to get us a replacement in two days at no extra cost to us. We also had an issue with the microwave which bertazonni didn't want to replace, but RSSA was able to work their magic and get me a replacement. All my appliances are in now and I am enjoying it. My contractor turned me on to this store because he said they had the best prices in OC. They do! I drove down from LA to purchase my fixtures for bathroom and tub. I worked with Adriana who was extremely helpful! She took her time with me and explained the difference in price of fixtures and style. Remodeling our bath because we wanted a bigger tub. Was looking for a 60 x 32. Saw a tub that we liked at RSSA and they said they had one on hand. Went to pick up the tub at the store and there was a chip at the corner. So we had to wait several days for them to fix it. They called us and said it was fixed so we went to pick up the tub. Our contractors was already at our house ready to install the tub and start the tiling work. They did all the pre-work set up for a 60 x 32 tub. BUT when we opened up the box, the tub was the WRONG SIZE (60 x 30)....I could've returned it for a full refund but it would have cost me extra to reschedule everyone and I would have to wait several more weeks for RSSA to order the right size tub....which the other reviews on here can attest to that. Our contractor tried to make it work with the wrong size tub and let's just say....we were extremely disappointed how it came out. Now we have to live with it. This review would have been zero stars but RSSA tried to make it right, hence the one star. They said they'll give the tub to be at cost. I bought the tub for $782 and they credited me back $82. But considering how everything turned out, I'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Spent thousands of dollars to remodel and didn't get what we wanted. read more

They have many good things going on at this place-many great brands and great customer service (at least when I first worked with them). Why the one star rating? Read on. I ordered multiple items for our outdoor/pool powder and another bathroom. Here are the areas where things went wrong: 1: Manufacturer sent incorrect rough valve for shower. We had to remove/knock-out the other side of the wall to replace the valve as the valve was already installed and the bathroom wall was already tiled. I suspect the customer service agent ordered the incorrect item. This resulted in additional cost and headache. 2: A custom mirror took three iterations and was still not correct. First time they gave us incorrect style. Second time, the mirror was cracked. Third time they ordered an incorrect size. I finally give up so I ordered a mirror at a local glass shop at 75% of the cost. 3: Gave incorrect information regarding finishes available for a fixture. I had to order the item in a different finish than what I wanted. Later found out that the desired finish does exist. Could not return the ordered item as a 20% restocking fee would apply. That item/fixture is now collecting dust. 4: An additional items (risers and angle valves for a faucet) ordered and received but did not fit together properly. Contacted RSSA and they worked with manufacturer to send a replacement but still didn't fit. So gave up on it. 5: A high end fixture did not hold up well. About six months after installation, the finish got all damaged and chipped. Mind you this is not just a normal wear and tear. Contacted RSSA and they worked with the manufacturer. Manufacturer did send a replacement but did not send all the damaged components. They only replaced 1 of the 3 damaged components. All this took about three months. Therefore I did not bother to push for the other two components. Today I came in to RSSA to order a drain for a sink, as a stone fabricator sent me/suggested me to come to RSSA to get the drain. An appointment was needed and they did give the time I wanted. I thought I would give RSSA another try. My attempt did not end up well. During the phone conversation they asked if I had worked with or bought items with them before. I answered that I did but ran into many problems. I indicated them why I was not too thrilled to work with them again. I came in anyway out of desperation and hoped this time would be different. Ranna was the person I was supposed to see, but she was busy so she passed me to Ray (who I guess is her father and the owner). He showed me in earnest what I need and how things should look. I did not have the intention of telling him the laundry list of problems I ran into with them previously. But wanting to work with them to order the drain and additional items for another project, I shared with Ray the frustrations that I ran into in the past. Sometimes we so called complain because we want the situation to improve. Specially, I mentioned the incorrect information they gave me (item#3 above) but he insisted that what I told him is not correct. He was not too far from calling me a liar. He stated that, "they [other vendor] sold you an off brand and not the brand you want/need.." I was fuming by then. I was ready to scream at him but didn't. I finally pulled up the invoice from Pirch to prove what I had told him, that the information they (RSSA) gave me was incorrect. I really want to support independent establishments but this place really gives me a bad taste. One star rating is still too good for this place. read more
