I work nearby and have seen Vinos several time. On a Sunday night, I was in the mood for a cocktail but it was pretty late. Vinos was open and to my surprise, had $8 drink specials and $10 flatbreads. It was very low key inside and not very crowded. I got a couple Hugo spritz. Tasty! Next time I'll grab an appetizer and see how the food is.

I have walked by this place so many times and never gone inside. I picked Vinos for a first meeting date. I loved, loved the atmosphere and the decor. The chandeliers are upside down wine glasses and the sconces are blown glass birds. They have little private rooms where they have wine stacked up floor to ceiling. They have a great selection of wines by the glass and bottle. They also have cocktails. They offer cheese & charcuterie boards. I had a glass of prosecco and my friend had a glass of red wine. We enjoyed a cheese Board that came with bread, honey and fig jam. The honey was amazing, pure and light. The service was slow, which is why I gave them 4 stars, not 5.

A glass of Cabernet and a glass of Pinot Grigio.

The wine section was very good. The bar food was varied and satisfying. The bar staff were attentive. The bar has been there for over 60 years and has the look and feel of a speakeasy and wine cellar.

This quaint wine bar located on las olas is a must for wine lovers. Been visiting them since they were across the street in a smaller location. Always a pleasant ambiance and service. Great social place where locals gather. Recommended for dates, group of friends or to just sip on a nice glass of wine with a bunch of nice people at the bar. Some celebrities have been spotted there. Easy set menu and wine selection is varied for all budgets. Check out the wine glass chandeliers (which are my favorite) and the private seating areas . You will feel like you are in a cellar in wine country somewhere.

I really enjoyed my evening at vinos. The ambiance was super cozy and casual yet chic. I usually grab a seat at the bar and ask the bartender to recommend a Pinot and something to pare it with. This time I went with an Oregon Pinot, a charcuterie board and a flatbread/pizza. The variety of cheeses were excellent and pared perfectly with my wine. The flat bread was also scrumptious and crispy. Overall, a great place to chill and have a relaxing evening with phenomenal food and wine.

One of our favorite spots on Los Olas Blvd. It's got a great vibe and intimate setting. Great drinks and happy hour specials. I suggest anyone looking for a place to meet up and have a drink or a great glass of wine this is the spot.

This is a wonderful place to stop by or hang out when you are tired of all the shopping and walking around and just want to have drinks and some light bites especially their charcuterie boards. Also great for happy hours. Remember this place is not for a full scale dinner. Their flat breads are real thin but loaded with high density foods so they can actually fill you up. I loved their mango mimosas - a fun tropical summer twist. The inside seating arrangement could use improvement to accommodate parties of different sizes but the ambiance itself is relaxing. If it's a nice day and you want to order food, I recommend sitting outside.

I came in the mid-afternoon with a friend. We ordered some drinks. I had an espresso martini. It was sooooo good! I also loved the ambience. There's also a speakeasy. It wasn't open during that time but the bartender was nice enough to show it to us. I can't wait to go back.

We sat on the patio which was great for fresh air and people watching. Service was slow to get greeted but food came out quick. They had a good happy hour Sunday funday deals and we enjoyed the food!

This was my first time coming here and this was definitely one of my favorite wine bars in Las Olas!! The restaurant is a funky theme and has a speakeasy! Such a cool place!! The bartenders and servers were so welcoming and helpful when it came to ordering drinks and giving recommendations! I had the BEST espresso martini and my mom got the red sangria (which is prob one of my favorite ones I've ever had)!!! I highly recommend coming here!!

The ambiance of the place is lovely, decorated with string lighting that looks so gorgeous at night. The patio area is much bigger than I anticipated and even has some larger tables for any larger parties. We started off with an appetizer of the peach burrata, which was tasty! I would give it 4/5. We then got wine flights which I thought were such a great value for the price. You get 3 small sized wine glasses for $15 and get to sample three wines! Definitely recommend this 5/5. As entrees, we shared two entrees - the pesto pasta and the gnocchi which at the time was made with a pork type of sauce. Both were very delicious and we really enjoyed the flavors of both. The consistency of the gnocchi's sauce was a bit interesting, as it was all sort of blended together, but the flavor was very good! Would give them each 4/5. We ended the night with tiramisu - delicious and the presentation was very cute. I haven't had very much tiramisu to compare against, but I'll give it 5/5 as I really enjoyed it! As for service, our waitress was very attentive and nice but note that they can get busy on weekend evenings, so expect a little bit of a wait. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the food. My favorite part of the night were the ambiance and the wine flights. I hope to come back again soon!

Super friendly across the board. The vibe is the best part. The outdoor courtyard setup is really cool, especially at night. Just a great atmosphere whether you're grabbing a drink or staying a while. Had the margarita pizza our last night and it was legit--really good. Highly recommend if you're in Fort Lauderdale and want a laid-back spot with great energy.

They also have a couple options for bites - charcuteries, dips, flatbread. Not a huge food menu but just enough to share and balance the drinks. I visited on their trivia night for a date night, only a few participating tables and it was fun! The questions were difficult but we made it through and won a small prize for second place. Service was beyond friendly, and we chatted with one of the owners who was super welcoming. I'd be interested in trying out their happy hour as if you having a couple drinks and bites the bill can start escalating quickly. Overall a fun, dim lit sophisticated time!

The small bites are well done and the limited heartier options are satisfying enough to make it a full evening out rather than just a stop for a quick drink. The wine list offers a strong range across regions and styles, though I'd love to see an extra Italian red or two added. The servers are friendly and clearly know their wine, offering helpful suggestions without being pushy. A relaxed and polished spot for unwinding with a great glass of wine.

I'm visiting the Foodie & Cocktail BFF and we're looking for a post dinner place in Fr. Lauderdale…read morewhere we can catch up over some cocktails on a weekday night. Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

I finally got the chance to check them out one afternoon when I was in the area. Brewlihan Mead is a 1,700-square-foot mead house and tasting room owned by John and Stacey Hoolihan. John had a background in science education and started out brewing as a hobby. What turned into a passion became a business. Brewlihan Mead is the first commercial meadery in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Mead, sometimes called honey wine is an alcoholic beverage made from three ingredients: fermented honey, water and yeast. It is the first alcoholic beverage consumed by mankind and is believed to predate wine by nearly three thousand years. Since the taste of honey can vary by region, mead can have a diverse and complex flavor profile. To make the mead at Brewlihan, the water, yeast and honey is placed in fermentation tanks with fruit and then aged in oak barrels for 2 to 5 months. You can take your mead to go in cans or they have a nice bar inside the tap room where you can enjoy your drink. I took my mead home and while I enjoyed all of it, my favorite was Winter in So Fla which truly evoked the tropical feel of a winter in Florida. Mead is a great alone or as a pairing to a meal. If you are a mead enthusiast they have memberships for $300 with a host of benefits listed on their website. Whether a casual or refined drinker of mead, you are sure to find something unique and delicious here. John and Stacy are so warm and friendly and this is the kind of science I really enjoy.
