Another fantastic meal and dining experience. We just arrived from NY and called Joey who is the owner and begged for a seating which he accommodated. We started with the popo "octopus " and could have made a meal out of it with the bread I had the veal chop and my wife had the branzino and both were amazing. We finished with the tres leche which was fantastic. Serge was our server and he was personable and professional. The place is beautiful and authentic Spanish . Walked in this charming little restaurant with a 7:30 reservation on New Years Eve for a table of 8. Our waiter was amazing. Took our drink order immediately even though the establishment was packed. No complaints on the drinks everyone enjoyed them. Warm bread with wonderful crust was served and replenished without asking. Three of us ordered the shrimp and scallops served on a bed of rice which was flavorful and fresh. My husband had sword fish which he loved. Two others had stuffed veal chop. I was lucky enough to be offered a taste. It melted in your mouth. Lastly the stuffed shrimp which was stuffed with chunks of crab meat. They have a regular menu and a big board menu of their daily specials (fresh fish) etc. Easy parking right outside the door. I'll be back for sure!! read more

Absolutely the best tres leches in Florida. They offer several options on their menu but they also have a board filled with several other yummy options. The service was spectacular. From calling to make a reservation to the table service all night. We never had to ask for anything as staff were so intuitive. Paella is perfect BUTTTT if you want the authentic crust of the rice, you have to specifically order that. Get the shrimp tapa on the menu and use the garlic sauce for dipping the amazing bread. Wow! What a welcoming and culinary surprise we had dining for the first time at Cafe Seville. The owner/chef, Jerry Esposito, greeted us quite cheerfully and proceeded to tell us about the restaurant. Apparently, the executive chef and many of the staff have been there for over twenty years, which is commendable. With the help of our waiter, Mario, we selected Pulpo Santa Fa (octopus) for an appetizer and Paella for our main dish. Exceptional experience for us! We were fortunate to be accommodated at the bar because we didn't realize how popular this place was and neglected to make reservations. The two woman tending at the bar provided excellent service and much needed, spot on food recommendations. Sangria was awesome, garlic shrimp app with the table service bread could've made a meal in and of itself! We were looking for a seafood restaurant, but none of the results from our research fancied our liking. Then Cafe Seville somehow popped up in our search and we were sold on the idea of tapas. And then we had a look at their daily specials menu....there were just so many delicious seafood dishes that we could hardly make up our mind. Therefore, if you are looking for seafood go for Cafe Sevilla. Very friendly staff serving us throughout dinner and very cosy interior. I had dinner yesterday at Café Seville in Fort Lauderdale with some friends. We've been there three times over the past month and a half, and until now, we always enjoyed it. Because our previous server, Serge, was friendly and helpful, I specifically made a reservation for a table he was serving. The restaurant wasn't busy at all; there were plenty of empty tables. Yet, we waited about fifteen minutes before we could even place our order. When I ordered, I clearly asked for a paella for two. Serge himself had explained that there were paellas for two, three, four, five, or six people -- so I confirmed once again that I wanted the paella for two. When it came time to order drinks, I asked for two Stella beers, but instead we were brought two opened Estrella Galicia beer. Since Serge and I both speak French, I thought there was no misunderstanding. But it seems there was. What disappointed me most is that I had already ordered the same paella for two on my two previous visits -- and both times, the portion was generous enough that we even took home a leftover box and were able to have lunch for two again the next day. This time, however, the experience was completely different, both in service and satisfaction. As an additional note, we waited 45 minutes before receiving our dish, even though the restaurant was not busy. Serge explained to us that the dishes took longer to arrive when there were fewer people than when the restaurant was full. Out of curiosity, I wanted to weight the leftovers from our paella for 3 when I got home - they came to exactly 2,637 pounds. I understand that everyone wants to make money by selling a dish at a restaurant for 3 when it is actually for 5! I hate being taken for an idiot and that was the case yesterday. I strongly recommend that customers complain because it is abnormal to exploit customers in this way! Unfortunately, this visit ruined my evening, and I don't plan to go back to Café Seville again -- even though I had become a loyal customer. read more

40th birthday with my pick of any place I wanted to go, and without hesitation, Cafe Saville. It's friendly, cozy, and consistent. We have eaten here probably 10 times in the 9 years of living here and have NEVER had bad service or a bad meal. The baby eels and shrimp appetizers are a staple. We have had the halibut, rabbit (amazing), paella, and others. Not a single dish I wouldn't order again. My go-to is the Bronzino with crab and lemon butter sauce. They pan fry it and it's HOT, buttery and delicious. I have strayed but always go back to it. I would be a goober if I didn't mention one of the most remarkable dishes to ever grace my pallet. The Tres Leches cake is one for the books. We sometimes get it to-go, on the way home from work, and it lasts in the fridge for several days. It's firm, goey, light, and plentiful. I have no idea how they do it but I am damn glad they do!! Get this. If you can't fit it in after dinner, get it to go and thank me later. Tips: they can cater and offer sauces and dishes and dessert in bulk!! Great wine selection and you can BYOB with a $35 corking fee. Children friendly and they have a few off menus items they can whip up for the kids. The staff has been the same since I can recall. The owner is always on site and has always stopped by our table to say hi and check in. I'm elated to see them survive it all and even expand their footprint. They should! It's a keeper. read more

About last night... We had Sangria, Pulpo Danta Fe (octopus) and Cazuela De Mariscos (mixed seafood casserole) The spot was walking distance from our AirBnB, as always we skipped on over and wow! The food at this place was absolutely amazing, it was delicious and fresh. The service was what was expected in a fine dining restaurant, it was great. The ambiance of this place is wonderful, it's exactly what you should expect in a true Spanish cuisine establishment. Huge menu and specials list, delicious food (especially seafood), solicitous and humorous waiters, and low volume so everyone in our party could hear each other talk. A great place for conversations! We had this place bookmarked for a while, but never had the chance to go. On this particular weekend, my wife said it was time to check this off our list. We have heard from our friends this is the best Spanish restaurant in the area and based on our conversation about their experience, we decided to go with one of their signature dishes, the Seafood Paella!!! Even though we did not make the reservation, the host was willing to take us in and gave us a nice table. The place may not be huge, but I love the Mediterranean vibe. It felt nice and welcoming. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. He helped us pick out a nice bottle of Spanish wine to pair with our seafood paella. There were also several specials going on that night and we decided to order the Octopus Santa Fe as our appetizer. I think they should bottle that sauce because it tasted great. The octopus was nice and soft and it was just a wonderful dish. And then our seafood paella came. It was absolutely the best seafood paella I've ever had. It's got a lot of seafood init like scallops, clams, shrimps, and muscles. The rice was nice and got tons of flavors. The portion was huge, probably big enough for 2-3 people.
