This place was so amazing and such a refreshing change from most breakfast places! We are visiting but I would go often if we lived here!

A total waste of money. The food was bland and tasteless with the exception of the beignets. Which were tasty, however they were not your typical New Orleans beignets but rather fried puff pastry dough. We both ordered the shrimp and grits.... I also was able to get a side of the pork belly. When the order arrived , the presentation was nice, it was a huge portion. However there were just five shrimp, a mound of unseasoned plain grits that had been topped with melted cheese. No flavor. I repeat no flavor. It was inedible. We both took off the shrimp since we had to pay for the dish regardless and left the rest of the dish to be tossed. The pork belly, was dry, and tasteless. Which is saying a lot for pork belly that is known by default to be fatty and juicy. It was a horrible experience. We will not be back. read more

Went to Souffle's Saturday morning for brunch during the quarantine. We all ate in the parking lot due to the Governor's orders of outdoor dining only. Souffle's staff has set up at least 10 tables and the hostess stand outside, in addition to the permanent tables already located on the covered patio. The staff was so friendly and they even served us complimentary mimosas when the food was a little delayed. When it arrived it was worth waiting for! I had the pork belly burger with sweet potato fries. Yum! Everything was great. We will definitely be back! read more

Great new little breakfast lunch spot! This was our 2nd visit. Recommend breakfast, burgers, crab cakes, cinnamon buns and specialty coffees. Only disappointment was the grilled cheese. They seemed to forget the cheese! Everyone else's meals were plenty and fresh! read more

Incredibly disappointing. This review is for the chef not the wait staff, the wait staff are amazing! Ordered the lobster crepe and soufflé pancakes (at first). The menu states the lobster crepe only has caramelized onions and not onions mixed in with the lobster (like a lobster salad) had to send it back so beware if you have an allergy! After sending the lobster crepe back we got an omelet which was good but nothing I'd go out of my way for. As for the Japanese pancakes these were far from light and airy. They were dense and hard, like trying to eat a biscuit or muffin. After waiting 30 minutes for them in the first place having them be so dense was even more frustrating. Will not return and do not recommend. read more

Went to Soufflés today looking forward to a great new breakfast spot. Well, needless to say we were very disappointed and will not return. Our waitress (also the hostess) was pushing us to order quickly .... Should have been our first clue that it wasn't going to be a great experience. Then, although they advertise a mimosa bar, they didn't have the ingredients? Seriously? Run to Walmart! Next they didn't have batter for Soufflés? WHAT? When our food came out two of the meals were good one should have never come out of the kitchen. How do you serve pork belly that looks like a charcoal briquettes?We complained about that when she FINALLY came back to our table as we were done our meal. She said she was going to talk to the chef. When she came back to the table I asked what the chef said and she replied he was busy and I didn't want to bother him. SERIOUSLY??? She then asked if we wanted more coffee, finally, I would have loved some with my meal! No please bring our bill.... When she retrieved our bill with credit card I again asked what the chef said and she told us she would be back. She came back again with the same bill with nothing taken off and asked if we wanted anything to go. NOOOO all we wanted was to get out of there!!!! She then asked if we wanted to speak to someone.... I'm sorry I thought I just did! Why didn't she bring the manager over, who apparently was standing around doing nothing but chatting and putting on lipstick in the middle of the restaurant. read more

Food and service was good BUT, there was no concern for COVID at all. We wore masks in and were the only ones, then they place more customers around us packed into a corner while the entire back of the place was empty. None of the servers wore a mask. Now I understand there's no mandate in Horry County SC to wear one but since it's the worst hit county with 5 times the number of incidents to the next county I would think they'd at least think of their employees, if not show some respect for their customers. Like I said, food and service was good but you give up any safety by going there. read more

Was expecting so much out of this place. Ordered egg Benedict, no Hollandaise sauce, eggs were completely cooked through, and egg shell in my meal. Explain this to the manager and she gave me a local discount of $2.38 off my meal. Won't be back again. read more

First time guest. Waitress was pleasant. Not busy but took forever to greeted. Food was not prepared correctly. The kitchen sent out the components for me to make it myself I have NEVER sent a dish back but I was not going to pay for something I didn't want AND had to fix myself. My kids enjoyed theirs but nothing remarkable. The price would be reasonable if the food was good. I have had a better breakfast at the Waffle House. Won't go back won't suggest it and won't act like I liked it to be nice. Again the waitress was sweet. The kitchen needs a good chef. read more

During our trip we saw this pace advertised. We looked into the menu and were so excited to try the pancakes. When we got there we were pleased to see that there weren't many people there and we wouldn't have to wait for a table. We ordered our drinks and my friend got a Cream Brûlée French Soda which looked and tasted awesome. For our entrees we each got an order of the Japanese Soufflés Pancakes and then an order of the Crab Cake Benedict. My sister ordered the pancakes with chocolate chips, but when it came the chocolate chips were on the side. The crab cake Benedict was the only thing that was worth ordering. The pancakes were dense, not light and fluffy. The pancakes were hard like the texture of cornbread, which I'm not a fan of at all. They didn't come with the "sweet and savory butter" they're supposed to come with. When I asked for the savory butter all I got was regular butter. The crab cakes were also supposed to come with remoulade, but it didn't and we had to ask for it later. Two of us ordered candied applewood bacon along with our pancakes and that was good as well but it wasn't worth $6 as a side. This place was way overpriced with little delivery. The waitress was nice but she barely came to our table, and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Soufflés would do well if they had good cooks and good servers, but because of the back and front of house performance we weren't impressed. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Food is decent, server was nice. The souffle pancake takes so long to cook. I was prepared for that so brought my laptop to do a little work while I waited. Only they don't have public wifi and refused to give me the password because it slows their system down - even though I was literally the only customer in the place. Then told me they had to make more batter so the pancakes would take even longer but still wouldn't let me use their wifi. For more than $20 with coffee and tip, it wasn't that good and neither was the customer service. read more

We have eaten here before and never had any problems however the last time they had a major faux pas. The three of us entered our orders and my wife and her friend were served in a timely fashion whereupon I was informed my meal was 'coming up shortly'. After waiting about five minutes, they began to eat. When our server came for re-fills asked where my meal was and told again it was coming up. Both ladies finished their meals and finally I found another server, a little more experienced and explained the situation. She went back to kitchen and found out the beignets I had originally were not available at the time the order was placed. Instead they had to go to the local store to purchase the mix to make them! After returning to the table, they appeared but by then everyone had been finished for almost ten minutes. At insistence of my wife and friend, ate them but felt rushed. Why they didn't come back and tell they were out blows my mind. I expressed this to whomever was in charge and even though they didn't charge me, explained that wasn't the point especially for a more upscale breakfast eatery in Myrtle Beach. I just hope they correct these 'errors' so other customers do not have to undergo a similar experience. read more

I met my niece and nephew at Souffle's for brunch on Saturday. I've been there before but it was their first time. My niece and I ordered omelettes and my nephew ordered pancakes. They were very busy but our order was delivered in a timely fashion. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was excellent. The hostess didn't bother to tell anyone so we could choose a meal accurately nor did the server until we tried to order items that they couldn't provide. Our potatoes weren't done and very bland. The red velvet waffle was bland and not done in the middle. We had to ask several times for refills and then ask a different waitress for our check because we hadn't seen ours in 20 minutes. So disappointed with brunch service and food. Only had to wait about 10 mins for table outside but waited over an hour for crappy food and bad service. Kid's meal delivered with no egg, chocolate crepe served ice cold, crab cake Benedict was not fresh. Manager offered to make me another meal which I appreciated but did not want to wait any longer for food. Asked for more sauce on another Benedict order but it never came until after meal was finished (again, ate it because we were starving and had waited an hour for it). Ok so the food and service wasn't great- it happens. But both the manager and server argued with me about my experience and that just put me over the edge. I had passed this restaurant for months on my way to other neighboring restaurants and stores. It didn't have much of a draw for me from the outside and the name of the restaurant made me think it was lighter meals, smaller in size, which my husband would never be happy with for breakfast. Finally, I said to him, let's give this place a try and we are so happy we did. From the moment we walked in the doors of this restaurant we loved the vibe. The decor has a modern rustic appeal and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Yulia, we appreciated her service and attentiveness. The coffee was superb, none of this brown water stuff, but a legitimate dark roast caffeinated cup that kept me going all day. The food was delicious, I had the Down and Dirty with savory pork belly, yum! And my husband had the Flock your Way omelette. We were impressed. Most definitely our favorite breakfast spot in town. waitress was very flighty. seem to be overwhelmed even though after we arrived the crowd had gone. she made our alcoholic drinks so weak we had to ask if they had alcohol in them and she informed us that she poured "double" the alcohol. she didn't know the featured drink (had never heard of it). we had to tell her it was on the board outside. We had been wanting to try but it is always busy. We were lucky to arrive at 2pm for a late lunch, no waiting.We were immediately attended by a sweet server who was knowledgeable about the various dishes on the impressive menu. I was pleasantly surprised at the various mimosas- they even had a pumpkin margarita! The fried green tomatoe appetizer is a meal on itself served on a bed of fresh spinach. The bacon and goat cheese topping were exceptional drizzled with balsamic glaze. The green tomatoes were served hot and crispy! Hubby selected shrimp n grits- VERY cheesy-( not tasso gravy which I being from Charleston expect in my S& G. It was a nice surprise of flavor).he loved it. I had the arugula pistachio salad (minus the potatoes).Delicious! The staff were attentive, jovial. Atmosphere is eclectic and clean. The breakfast items looked tasty. So I returned to Soufflés this past weekend with friends. The restaurant was jam packed with no distancing between tables. Wait staff were wearing masks. No one at hostess stand with several people waiting. Every person was taking orders or refilling glasses. No one came to take a name or number for several minutes as the line continued to grow. People were standing on the sidewalk because they have no real wait area. Finally a waitress asked how many each party had. When I said 6 she didn't respond and turned and set up a 6-top in the corner. I made the assumption she was going to seat us. Then she went back to the kitchen. After a few more minutes someone showed up and asked who was next. I explained what had just happened and she said is your name Sawyer. I said no. She said that 6 too is reserved for Sawyer. Then another waitress came up and asked what was going on and she said '"nothing'". Finally I asked how long the wait would be. She said about an hour. So we left. I don't think I'll be back. No matter how good the food is, their system is not efficient nor courteous. There are too many other good options to put up with this. read more
