Food was excellent. Tasty, hot and authentic. Highly recommend. Service was quick and kind. Old school music made it a nice ambiance.

We were married March 2nd, 2010 and we couldnt have picked a better place to be married. Everything was perfect. Except dont expect to get your deposit back unless you hire a cleaning crew that will cost you just about the same amount as the deposit. They should call it a cleaning fee not a deposit. My husband and I stayed until 12am cleaning up the mess our selves in our wedding attire. Then once we got everything cleaned up we were told we also have to take all the trash to the dumpsters half a mile away. So we didnt make it to our honeymoon cabin till 3am and I ruined my dress with trash because of this. For the price they should DEFINITELY have included a cleaning fee. I only write this so that other couples can expect to not get there deposit back or hire a cleaning crew. Either way I felt that we had the best wedding ever.

For some reason, it reminded me of Hawaii with its setup. We came here for a birthday party (cousin's wife's cousin's daughter...I hope I got that right). I felt like a little kid having fun exploring the nooks and crannies of the grounds, but I didn't have the chance to see the rest of the place. A walkway built for couples surrounds the perimeter of this beautiful lagoon. Actually, I think the walkways are just wide enough for Skipper to walk through. Sorry, Gilligan. Benches, huts, a firepit for toasting S'mores, tiki torches, and various live tropical foliage embellish your journey throughout the vast walkway. I remember hearing another party next door, but wasn't sure if it was within Corona Yacht Club's domain or a neighboring competitor. They have two bathrooms for women and one for men, which would be along the path to your left once you enter the main hall... in case you realize that the 10 freeway was much much longer than you expected. I didn't make it and had to go at a gas station. All of their staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food on the other hand, was average, but I enjoyed their mini-burgers and chicken quesadillas. I think they may have gone through a vendor for this, so I can't have that impact my review that much. The open bar made my night, but dancing on the dock over the lake and constant laughing with family and friends guaranteed that I had a night to remember. Party on little buddy. Party on. *A Note on Directions: After exiting Dillon Rd on the 10 Freeway you'll make a right onto Dillon Road, then a QUICK left onto Vista Del Sur. If you pass the gentleman's club, you've gone too far. We got lost trying to look for (in English) View of the South. Once on Vista Del Sur though, you can then make a right onto Tyler Street. The place is on the left side. You're welcome. P.S. Here's their website, which I noticed wasn't listed at the top: http://www.coronayachtclub.com/

Fantastic Pre-Season Soccer in Palm Desert…read more - - - - - - - - February, 2026 Visit We visited Palm Desert to see our St. Louis CITY Soccer Club (SC) play Austin in pre-season MLS soccer at the Coachella Valley Invitational Tournament, and we had a GREAT TIME!! The Coachella Valley Invitational Tournament is pre-season soccer for men (MLS) and women (NWSL), played at the Empire Polo Club in February each year. We have visited Palm Desert for many years, and have visited before and after the tournament the past couple years, but have missed attending; thankfully schedules aligned this year. After watching previous games on YouTube, this year we got to be there in person! The tournament's site offers some challenges on finding General Admission tickets; after some time we found that the Los Angeles Galaxy (LAG) were managing the tickets; a quick call with Miguel, who was very helpful, and we soon had our tickets in the app ready to be there for the soccer. Thanks, Miguel!! Parking for soccer was easy to find based on the online map and following the signs. For food, under the semi-permanent tent they have food trucks and an open bar. Here is little shade on the fields; some palm trees in the corners offer a place to cool off; otherwise if the skies are clear, the Palm Desert sun will provide copious doses of Vitamin D to lift your spirits. DJ Alf Alpha provided dance tubes all day and there were various soccer skills for fans to participate in. Even when the weather is not as nice as it was for us, this is still a great facility, with low humidity. Fun fact... the Salton Sea is the second lowest point in the US, after Badwater Basin / Death Valley; if I calculated correctly, the Empire Polo Club elevation is 5-20 feet. Thank you to everyone who makes the Coachella Valley Invitational possible! As Major League Soccer transitions its season to match the rest of the world, and to spread across two years, but no soccer in cold Jan/Fen nor hot July/Aug, we hope you'll continue the tournament as a mid-season break tourney. ----- ----- -----

I've been for others things. The dog show, for instance. It's a nice outdoor space. There are areas that are very rich in foliage and give plenty of shade. The staff has always been nice and helpful, from the parking people to the security and cashiers, I've never have anyone be ambivalent. Food is, well, epic expensive. If you plan to spend $30 on food and $10 on drinks, you can get by. Beer was not outrageous though, which was a surprise. I definitely recommend going. Parking has always been easy. Some events it's free parking, others it costs, so plan ahead.

Because it was the weekend of the Coachella music festival, the entire resort was full and it was extremely busy. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Since it is a WorldMark location, we were offered the timeshare presentation (marketed as a "tour of the property"); we politely declined and they never bothered us again about it. The following items really annoyed me and I am not sure whether this is the norm or if it was because it was busy and the resort was full. - The resort DOES NOT provide additional towels. You can only replace dirty towels by calling housekeeping and trading your dirty towels for new ones. I have never seen a resort/hotel do this and did not like this practice. Just really annoying. - The resort does not offer housekeeping, even though we stayed for 4 nights! Our room was never cleaned as a result and we had to take the trash out ourselves. I even tried leaving the trash outside my door so that housekeeping can just grab it, but I found that it was just left there all day. Some other cons... - The AC does not work in the bedrooms. It is strong in the living rooms, but there is no air in the bedrooms for some reason. Being in the desert, it was sooo hot getting up to the high 90s outside. AC is necessary! - The food in the market/cafe is pretty mid... With WorldMark Indio being a large well-known resort in the area, I would expect the cafe food to be better. Pro though - I like that they have a market/cafe; definitely helpful to get a quick lunch in before heading to Coachella. - The security becomes very aggressive if you do not have their resort wristbands on. I accidentally left mine in the room on the first day and was almost not let back onto the property even though I could tell them my full name with ID... The best and really the only PRO I can tell you about is that there are shuttles here that take you to the festival! It is run by a private company called LF Festivals. It is very convenient and costs $145 per person. It is expensive but it was convenient and made it so that we had one less thing to think about. One thing they could work on though is the wait times. I waited over an hour sometimes to get onto a shuttle since the line was so long. Sometimes though there was no wait and I got onto a van immediately. Okay, I know I have a lot of negatives to say but it's a solid place to stay. I guess I just had high expectations because of the high price. Overall, nearly every staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful and the front desk is quick to answer the phone when you need assistance with something. The room was clean and there is a microwave, fridge, freezer, and stove. Very convenient.

I travel a lot, and I'd say the hotel rooms are good for the price. They show a bit of wear from frequent guests, but they're generally clean and well-kept. The mattress is comfortable, the sheets and towels are fresh, and the furniture is in good shape. The room is one thing, but the overall hotel experience is another--and that's where things fall short. Examples: The hotel is not staffed on-site, around the clock. One evening, I returned to my room only to discover my key card didn't work. I went over to the security booth. Although the security team aren't hotel employees, they fortunately had a master key that let me back in. It was lucky I planned to stay in for the night, since they couldn't issue me a new key. If that master key hadn't worked, they would have had to contact an on-call hotel employee. The key cards and room locks were a bit finicky. Our group had booked five rooms in total, and I wasn't the only one who ended up locked out in the middle of the stay. I understand that business is slow during the summer, but the hotel suspends its cable subscription during the low season (?) I understand that almost everyone has a mobile phone nowadays. Is that the reason telephones have been removed from the rooms? There used to be an ice machine by the hotel laundry room, another in the cart barn, and one more in the clubhouse kitchen. Now, the clubhouse kitchen has the only one left. One morning, as our group was getting ready to head out for a round of golf, we learned that the machine broke down overnight--and there wasn't any fresh ice anywhere on the property! It seems the hotel management office hasn't been open for some time. For check-ins or handling other hotel-related matters, head over to the golf pro shop inside the clubhouse. Putting sentimentality aside, I'm giving a low score in the hope that ownership takes this review as an opportunity for improvement. I also can't overlook the chorus of complaints from my travel companions. Finally, I'll give Nick and Samantha "five stars". Interacting with them, I can tell they're trying--but I think ownership is impeding their efforts.
