I was taken back pretty quickly after checking in at the front, and everyone I interacted with was so kind and welcoming. My only complaint was the location of my room. I was in the first room to the right of a pretty loud sliding door. The noise itself wasn't too bad, but every time the door opened I could feel a cold breeze come in, which was a little distracting during a massage. It also felt like one wrong move and the curtain to the room could accidentally be opened lol. I'd definitely go back, but next time I'm specifically requesting a room AWAY from that door! read more

The lady at the reception area was very sweet and confirmed if I still wanted to do a 45 min massage and my preference on full body or upper body. She also asked for my preferred intensity level (soft, medium, or firm). It is a small space so there are multiple stations in the back that are nicely decorated. We had a very disappointing experience at this massage place. We made a 2:00 PM appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early. Since the waiting area was small and we didn't want to disturb other customers, we politely let the front desk know we had arrived, then stepped just a few feet outside the entrance while waiting. We never left the area. A few minutes later, an employee called and asked if we were ready. We immediately responded because we were right outside. However, we were then told that they had already given our room to another customer because they thought we had left, and there was no longer any room available for us. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility for the misunderstanding, the front desk simply told us to cancel our appointment. We had driven all the way there, arrived early, and still ended up receiving no service at all. When I asked to speak with the manager, the employee claimed she was the boss. I knew the business has a different owner, so I asked who the owner was. She then changed her response and said she would let the owner know. What made the experience even worse was her attitude. She mentioned that they are very busy on Fridays and weekends, which made it seem like they didn't value our business because they already had enough customers. Good businesses don't stop caring about customer service just because they're busy. We wasted our time driving there, arrived early for our appointment, and were treated with disrespect instead of receiving a simple apology or any effort to resolve the situation. It's one of the most painful massages I've ever experienced, but in the very best way (I get elbow-dig, deep-tissue work, too), and I wouldn't want it any other way. Every time I leave, I gain more mobility in my arm, shoulder, and neck. The Loop is clean, cozy, and simple (with curtains closed for privacy). If you're easily distracted, you might sometimes hear other massages happening in the semi-open area. The front desk staff are always cheerful and kind. And everyone is punctual. The Loop was MY Secret for years. It is a gift to our community: professional, clean, and all around AMAZING. Each massage therapist has their own technique, so find someone who does exactly what you want. The greeter always asks if you want soft, medium or hard, and where on your body you would like to focus. You have to speak up for yourself, after 5 minutes if you find it's not right for you & if you are unhappy, don't wait for the massage to be over to complain When I read negative reviews, I feel outraged. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. When I arrived, the receptionist asked what pressure I preferred, and I clearly said "soft." However, once the massage started, the therapist used hard pressure. I repeatedly asked -- at least four times -- for softer pressure, but my requests were ignored and she continued doing what she wanted. She didn't even massage properly -- it felt like she was just doing compressions the entire time. At one point, she got on top of me and started using her knees, which I did not ask for. My boyfriend's therapist did not do anything like that, so it made the experience even more concerning. On top of that, she began stretching me in a way that exposed my chest, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and violated my sense of privacy. Throughout the entire session, she also kept talking and asking me personal questions about my tattoos, which completely took away from any chance to relax. Overall, this experience felt unprofessional, uncomfortable, and disrespectful of my boundaries. I would not return. The receptionist did not charge me for this massage so I guess thats cool. read more

I read all these great reviews and thought to give this place a chance. I have a lot of tension and ache in my neck and shoulders and had told the masseuse to focus on those parts. Unfortunately she did not listen to my request and mainly massaged my back with her arms and on top of that she did not give a foot massage which i had assumed was part of the package. Parking can be a bit tricky on this side of the business because of residential permit parking, but across the street where the park is, you should be able to find parking. Make sure that you park on the no permit side! I love how the rooms are setup, it is quite vibey with the flowy curtains. Like most massage places, it is open air, so you might hear some minor noises, people snoring, the usual haha Their deals are amazing, 90 minute for $80 cash is unreal. They will always ask you if its too light or too hard, be honest! You are a paying customer and quite frankly so many people wait till its over to comment that they didn't get "the massage" that they were seeking. Communication is key! Overall the staff is very friendly and quick to help, my cousin and I went and we left feeling brand spanking new! I uploaded the service options and pricing, so give it a go! I get massages pretty often since I bodybuild , I Saw the good reviews so I said why not there's more good ones than bad ones so it's gotta be a good spot right ...... lol I Didn't want to leave a review but I have to be honest , the receptionist lady is probably one of the best receptionist lady's I've encountered , very nice , accommodating , friendly, she has great energy, Refreshing ,That part was great , now when it comes to the massage, maybe I got unlucky and got one of the older ladies who didn't know what she was doing , there was zero technique, everything was random , it just felt like she kept guessing what to do like she had no idea what to do during the massage. I had to tell her to use massage oil , like 20 mins into it she's just patting my back and my legs with the cover on me letting the time pass & I'm thinking when is the actual massage going to start .... it just felt like she was going through the motions and not really focused on if I was getting a good massage. She was much older & didn't speak English , It wasn't good at all, towards the end she tryed to massage my face with dry hands and I left with red inflamed marks under my cheek bones from the irritation , I'm chocolate so you can imagine how unhappy I was seeing that when I went into the restroom, and the receptionist lady asked how it was & I kept it real with her & she told me come back and try another lady which I more than likely won't . I don't know why some reviews say the workers are rude because my experience is the complete opposite. The receptionist was super nice and welcoming! She was greeting every guest with a big smile, asking about massage preference, and doing deep bows showing respect. As for the masseuse, I had Ella and she was amazing! I asked for soft pressure because I wanted a relaxing massage and I got just that. Ella was using soft pressure and increase it when she goes over a knot or tense muscle. On my way out the receptionist realized I speak her native language and was very passionate about their masseuse. She was giving me overview of the 16 masseuse they have on staff and recommending certain staff base on the type of massage I prefer ex Thai, Tui Na, Swedish. Would definitely recommend. Only con would be it's a shared floor, the "rooms" are separated by curtain so you might hear your neighbor. The atmosphere is moody because they use warm yellow light and clean space. I love the Loop! Massages are amazing especially when they use the hot stones as part of your treatment, which is included not extra. The prices can't be beat either! The staff are pleasant and the place is clean and esthetics are nice. The only one thing I can think of that could be a con is there are only huge heavy canvas curtains that separate the individual massage areas not private rooms with doors. It's still private however you might occasionally hear a whisper. Between the fabulous massage and zen music it's easy to tune out any occasional slight whisper. Medium pressure massage is subjective and can depend on whether you have a male or female masseuse. So be clear on the type of pressure you prefer for your massage whether deep tissue or just relaxing mild pressure. Don't sleep on this place it's definitely a place to for a massage! read more

I just had a great massage for the first time here. I got the 90 minute Swedish massage and asked for medium pressure with a focus on neck and shoulders. The masseuse (forgot to ask for her name) was amazing and I will definitely be back. Be aware that it's in a shared room with private sections, so if you're sensitive to noise just keep that in mind, but I found it really easy to tune out any residual noise. I over exerted myself in workouts this week and pushed new limits that caused stiffness. I actually prefer this and don't need all of those extras- I just want a good massage at a reasonable price. 2) The first 20 min is massage over the sheet.
