I started going here 2 weeks ago on a new student pass. I have gotten so much out of my classes here. My body feels better, and my mood is gentler. I feel more patient with my kids. The teachers I have had have all been great, and the classes are available for different levels of students and adaptable for your energy and body ability. The studios are lovely and soothing, and I will be joining full time once my trial membership is up. My favorite class so far is Gentle Flow with Liasa K. Not only is it perfect for someone who has done yoga before but is out of practice as well as someone who has asthma on a bad asthma day, but the 9:30AM time slot is perfect for me to make class right after dropping my son off at school. read more

All of the teachers here are incredibly friendly/welcoming and the classes are wonderful. I have only attended weekend classes so far but plan to attend some during the week soon. I originally did the new student special ($30 for 30 days) which was a great way to get started and become familiar with the different classes. Now I'm working on using up my 10 class pass ($179). Anabelle and Jessica are my favorite teachers; they're very positive and offer instruction by doing some of the poses themselves, which is very helpful for someone who is not 100% confident in their yoga abilities. My daughter and I had a private session with Stacy recently and she was very helpful, kind, knowledgeable and patient with us. She even went over our allotted time of an hour. I look forward to attending one of her classes soon. Oh, and the customer service is excellent. Anytime I've called or emailed them with questions, they are quick to respond, very helpful, and nice. This makes a huge difference to me with any business. The facility is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The parking lot is small but I have never had a problem finding a spot. read more

When you (or at least I) turn 40 you take stock and think about what you need in your life to be the best version of yourself the next 10. For me, I'm missing balance and a slowness/concentration in my life that everyone was telling me Yoga would add. Did a quick google search and realize this cute new spot is 4 minutes from my house, Yay! Then I like their facebook page and they have an inversion workshop (remember the headstand goal) in 7 days, double Yay! I register and show up. What a great place! Super convenient in downtown round rock with a quaint facility run by amazing welcoming people. The inversion workshop was challenging and well instructed and has me well on my way to my instagram dreams...errr... i mean mental clarity, focus and balance. ;) I attended the night time Yin class last night and everyone needs to end their day with that kind of release! I really appreciate the ladies here. I took the basic beginners Yoga class as I am an injured veteran and need to keep my flexibility and movement about me. I also learned that there were others in my group who came back just for the "beginners" course because they just enjoyed it so much and did not desire to get "more involved in Yoga." The ladies are very informative and helpful. They do not rush you and do the best in explaining and answering questions that you may have. From a guys perspective - not that I had any concerns - but if men are questioning their concerns about taking a "yoga" class then you should just take the courses they have. As I learned in the military, there are MANY things that can help your body. Here expanding on your basic flexibility and bring circulation to old injuries safely will help. Centering yourself in a quiet moment while stretching and balancing with a friendly staff and other members; its perfect. It is a calming and relaxing environment while being welcoming. Personal note: I am 6'4" and about 225lbs. I am NOT graceful like a Swan and no where near standing like a Flamingo, but I tried my best and enjoyed it very much! Go to this yoga studio in downtown Round Rock if you're interested in expanding your practice or if you're new to yoga. TL;DR (1) Experienced yogis and beginners will enjoy their diverse sequencing. Plus there's prenatal yoga, postnatal yoga, and restore on the regular schedule. (2) Go - practice - leave OR get to know the regulars - your choice. (3) Three week long new student special doesn't rush you. (4) Affordable unlimited membership includes use of a complementary yoga mat! -------- MORE INFO Moving to the greater Austin area meant leaving my home studio of 7+ years and I knew it would be a challenge to find a new place to practice. After visiting a handful of yoga studios in the greater Cedar Park and Round Rock areas, I choose Soul Strong for my +4x/week practice. PROS - Classes as late as 8 PM on weekdays. - Diverse sequencing (experienced yogi's probably won't get bored). - Encouraging and knowledgable teachers. While mostly on the younger side (from what I've seen in the weekday evenings) the instructors are informative and helpful. - The new student special is 3 weeks long. No pressure to make a decision within a week or try to get the whole experience quickly. - Good balance between modern yoga studio and "stereotype" yoga studio. CONS - Lacking in weekend afternoon/evening classes. CONS that are my preferences - Only warm classes, not hot enough. - Not a lot of warm classes on the schedule. - Lacking in loud/energetic classes (think Zumba/Soul Cycle enthusiasm). Love this adorable little yoga studio! I was house-sitting in Round Rock and looking for a place to get a pick-me-up with all of the rain and gloomy weather. Soul Strong looked like the perfect spot. Turns out my intuition was correct! They offer an excellent schedule with lots of various options and great instructors (shout out to the candlelit flow and yin classes - the perfect way to end your day). Plus, their attached shop is fantastic with cute yoga gear and other cool stuff like sage, crystals, etc. The 30 day pass is an excellent deal and their monthly membership seems like a great one as well. I've found that many yoga studios outside of ATX can have a "too cool for the coolest" vibe, but Soul Strong has that super welcoming, "let's be friends" Austin vibe that makes me wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. I really love this place. I am signed up for the 30 day pass now so I can try a bunch of classes and figure out which one works best for my schedule/ ability. The only problem is...I like all of them. They even have a toddler class on Saturday that I bring my son to. It's really fun and he was even doing the poses at home last night. I'm not a yoga expert. I have taken lots of classes over the years here and there. It's a nice fitness option for me since I'm not really sporty/competitive. It also gives me time out of my day to take care of myself a little and get a chance to breath and clear my head. The teachers are good at making you feel nice even if your poses aren't perfect. I tried this studio and the Buti class for the first time. Honestly I liked both. I liked the vibe inside of the studio and the Buti Yoga class was awesome. I thought it would be too much for me but it was perfect. It's a mix of dance and yoga, very entertaining class and the hour goes by so fast.. I definitely recommend this class for sure. I started going to this little yoga studio about 8 months ago and really love it! The atmosphere is inviting, and the instructors are terrific! Every instructor whose class I've taken has been so encouraging and knowledgeable. They offer a wide variety of classes and workshops. Everything is really affordable, and there are several payment options. There's a small, yoga-themed shop in the front of the studio with mats for rent if you don't have one yet or forget yours. They provide blocks, bolsters, and cleaning equipment for mats. The parking lot for the main studio is small, but the street parking is free, and there's also a free parking garage nearby-ideal for when hail is in the forecast! The studio is nestled in historic downtown Round Rock and is close to a number of cute cafes and restaurants if you want to grab a bite with a friend or if you feel inspired to write a novel. I really love this place. My only complaint is it's a drive to get to but it's worth it every time I come in. I love how easy it is to sign up for a class with fast pass. Their prices are very reasonable. There are events going on that are really intriguing and the classes I've been to haven't been overflowing with people where I get someone's feet in my face. The room is airy and I love the mural. It is cleaner than other yoga studios I've been to in Austin so this was a great relief to find. The Power yoga is great and the flow. You definitely feel it and get what you pay for. My only quip would be I wish the teachers would be more interactive with the students as sometimes I've struggled with a pose and actually hurt my back as I was doing it wrong but no one told me and I was at the front of the class. I came here for candlelight yoga and I would 100% recommend. I loved the instructor she was was super chill. In the beginning of the class she had everyone introduce themselves and asked what areas we would like to work on to incorporate that into class. I thought this was so cool. The studio is by far one of the most peaceful, gorgeous, and clean environments I've ever practiced at. It's located in an adorable downtown round rock house with ample free parking spaces. The classes are small and each instructor offers a different style and pace. Maddie brings so much positivity to her classes that it's contagious, Candice offers a faster paced and challenging flow, Mallory's classes are creative and well constructed, Jessica has excellent verbal cues that allow you to really zone out, and Adrienne will inspire and empower you in Buti.
