It was my first time at SoulCycle and my first time in that neighborhood, so I wasn't familiar with the parking situation. There were meters outside, and people in the parking lot told me they didn't think I needed to pay. I went inside at 5:57 and checked in before class. I had already given the staff member my shoe size and my shoes were waiting for me on the desk. She told me I did need to pay the meter, so I quickly ran back outside to pay and came back in exactly at 6:00. Despite the fact that I had already been inside before 6 PM and she knew I had stepped out just to pay the meter, she refused to let me take the class. After our conversation ended and I was walking out, it was only 6:01, which clearly shows I was inside at 6:00. They should check the cameras if there is any question about the timing. I understand that places have rules, but having a friendly and welcoming environment for a new customer who has never taken a SoulCycle class and is new to the area should be taken into consideration. I even told her that I had driven over half an hour from the Bronx to attend the class, and she did not care. This is not how a new customer should be treated. I'm extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. I will not be returning to SoulCycle and would not recommend it to others. read more

I did the 2 weeks unlimited for $99, technically $89 with a 10% discount! I had a blast, you have to get used to it but after the first or second class it's very fun. Johnny was an amazing instructor and does a killer workout! He's very friendly and welcoming to new comers. He does a lot of resistance and omg his arm sessions had me burning! Defintiely one of my fave challenging classes. My Apple Watch would tell me I burned almost 400 calories in 45 minutes, amazing! Dani is a very fun motivating instructor. She gives bits of inspiration during class that keeps you pushing! Her classes get booked up pretty quickly. If you being a regular she will also call out your name in class, it's so cute! Monique was a very challenging instructor. I took her class during the end of my 2 weeks and I'm glad I did. You can tell a lot of the cyclists were seasoned Soulcylcers, staying on beat and easily matching her arm choreography. I could not keep up! Leslie is a super upbeat instructor. She does not mess around, and will give you a challenge. Her classes were very in sync and tried to have everyone cycling to the same beat, which was cool to see and motivated me more to stay in unison. The studio really picked great instructors for everyone's personal taste. I would definitely try all the instructors out and see where you fit in. The facility is also super super clean! You get what you pay for, it is expensive but I think worth it. It's a very well rounded workout. read more

I came here for a walk in class to try cycling. I came on a Sunday so parking was free but I think other days you need to pay. The gym is absolutely gorgeous and the clientele definitely were high class. We walked in to a room that was filled to capacity and they close the door which I thought was a bad idea with covid. There was no social distancing at all. The instructor was a little overwhelming. He was super advanced which they should tell you online whether its advanced or beginner. He used a lot of foul language which was a little disturbing as well. I knew he was trying to motivate us to work out but it was a little much. I live in White Plains and have been visiting all three Westchester SoulCycle locations pretty regularly for the past year or so. This studio is pretty middle-of-the-road. Like all Soul locations, this one is super clean and has all the good amenities (hair ties, ear plugs, etc.) and there is plenty of wiggle room, which is nice. The studio itself is very spacious, too. The staff is pretty friendly, though I've been to other locations where the staff are friendlier. The classes are a great workout - you will sweat and you will love every second of it. I come for the theme rides and Bronxville tends to lack a bit in those. The parking is hit or miss - bring those quarters! All in all, this studio is in a good location so you can't go wrong. read more

I can't reiterate enough how much I love Soul Cycle! I was never one for group exercise classes and I always hated going to the gym, but there's something about Soul Cycle that makes me feel different about all that now. Maybe it's the music, the dark candlelit room, or the awesome instructors. Maybe cause I don't feel judged in there. Maybe cause you're challenged to reach your true potential, but you're having fun doing it. I don't know, I just love it. I've been SoulCycling for about 6 months now and have seen a positive transformation in my body. I am more toned and stronger. When I started, I thought it was just going to be for a little while just to get through the winter blues, but it's become a part of my lifestyle now. Many people would argue that SoulCycle isn't even a real workout. I thought so too, but now I beg to differ. I definitely break a sweat, but to be fair and honest, they do keep the room pretty warm. Regardless, you do get a good cardio workout with strength training! SoulCycle is pretty expensive. They offer packages so the more classes you buy per package the less the actual class is... but it's still on the pricy side regardless. I have been to a few other Soul Cycle studios in NYC and Westchester, but I find the Bronxville location to be the nicest. It is more spacious and comfortable than the others I've been to. I've tried pretty much every instructor at the Bronxville location and I do like most of the instructors at this location. My favorite instructors are Leslie, Monique, Tony, Junior and Kayle. Monique's class is probably the most advanced and there's always a wait list for her. I can see why because I feel like I get the best workout with her and break the most sweat with her compared to the other instructors. Leslie is probably next on my list. I feel like she has the best music out of all of them and really tries to get to know her riders. Tony is great too and I like his style of music as well. Kayle and Junior I would recommend for beginner riders. They tend to be the only ones who actually give instructions about the bike and moves, and are mindful of new riders. There really is an instructor for everyone and each instructor comes with their own group of followers and style. Even though I have my favorites as well, I like to switch them up every now and then to avoid boredom. I recommend SoulCycle. Warning- it can be highly addictive! read more

SoulCycle is an amazing and challenging workout. I have tried many other spin classes at both mainstream and private gyms. Nothing is as intense as SoulCycle. You feel extremely accomplished after the workout. It is worth it. I recently attended a class in Bronxville with Michael and he is my favorite so far. What's not to love? I prefer this location over the one in Scarsdale for three reasons: the space is much larger, the parking is less of a hassle and the location has an abundance of shops and places to explore/eat/get coffee. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the classes themselves are always amazing. If it's your first class, you get your first pair of cycling shoes for free unless you have your own. Otherwise it's a $3 rental for shoes! Bring water unless you want to buy that too, and prepare for the best workout of your life! Their bathrooms are always insanely clean, they've got showers, deodorant, lotion, face wash and hair ties. You truly get what you pay for and will become addicted. Warning: HIGHLY Addictive!!! Yes, it's pricey. If I could afford it, I'd do it daily, so I try to go at least once a week, which I rationalize with it being in the best interest of my body, which is true,..there is no better investment. I took my first class a few months back, mainly out of curiosity, and have been hooked ever since. It's a high intensity feel good workout for your body and your soul. I'm a former member of Equinox and can say that the one spin class I took there could not hold a candle to Soul Cycle. It's truly in a class of it's own. The average classes are great and each teacher has his or her own following, mainly based on style and music. My personal favorite is Leslie. Her classes are always packed, which means others agree. Her music is perhaps not so much what she listens to personally, but what will get the class going. Her songs are well known, but with various genres for every palette. Overall her classes have the best vibe. Issac was also good, but he since left. As far as other instructors go, I especially love when they do artist battles, which I personally feel they should do more of given the plethora of possibilities! Prince vs Michael Jackson, East Coast vs West Coast (90s), Britney vs Xtina, Kanye vs Drake, Lil Kim vs Nicki Minaj, Hip Hop All Stars, etc. The possibilities are endless HINT HINT. read more

I've only been here once and it was my first SoulCycle experience. I was overall quite impressed. The place itself is extremely clean and there are many small touches that just make it a pleasant place to be. Forget a hair tie? There's a jar of them! Need to dry your hair after your shower? There's a wall of them! Things like that show that the people here are conscientious and are using that cash you pay for each class to put back in the business. Get there early for your first class and the staff will help you set up your bike. Then, you will go on a 45 minute journey that is definitely a good workout, regardless of what online blogs say, and will leave you drenched in sweat. It's a good time overall. It's quite expensive and I definitely won't be making it part of my weekly routine for this reason but who can really judge others for spending a lot of money on their health? Other people easily spend $25 per week on clothes or coffee alone so one class per week on your health is really one of the best investments you can make. I'd definitely consider making SoulCycle a nice weekend pre-brunch splurge with some friends. read more
