With an appointment, I ended up waiting almost 10 minutes, while (I assumed) my room was being prepped. Guess not because the face towels that were supposed to be warm felt like scratchy dry brand new never-been-washed towels 2/3 times I visited. For my most recent, my massage was on a regular table but instead of a cloth on the face cradle, it was a paper towel....... The hall door was OPEN during the better part of my last 90 minute massage...... Hearing people talking in the hallway and wondering if they could see my body if they walked by was not peaceful. They did some interesting limb bendy stuff on me that I think was trying to emulate Thai massage style, but it was just twisting my body in odd ways that felt weird with my scoliosis (which I'd already told them I had so idk why they did that). I kept waiting for them to return back to/take extra time to focus on the areas I designated on the tablet where my back muscles reallllly need extra care after moving to my lower body, but I am pretty sure they've never looked at my diagram any of the times I've been because this experience is consistent with all 3 visits I've had there. Came across my biggest pet peeve which is having stretches of time over a minute where it feels like the masseuse is just lightly spreading oil on my skin longer than necessary to run up the time. For these reasons and others, I was quite uncomfortable at this place and won't be back a 4th time. I really wanted to give it a chance and give the benefit of the doubt with more chances but 3 bad massages is a LOT of money to drop w little return for a public school teacher. Despite all that, the front desk staff was pleasant and the location is super convenient!! The quest for a massage that can soothe my tight scoliosis muscles continues.

I was greeted by friendly staff upon entering and inquiring about if it was possible for an hour session along with explaining where I hurt. With no hesitation as a walk in for my first visit here Linda did a fabulous job working and communicating with me. One thing I was worried about was when Linda asked if walking on my back would be ok? And I was scared due to the surgery I had in my lower back but I was willing as always to try anything to see if I get any relief. So here it is 24 hours later, I'm in no pain, I have no bruising my mobility is by far better and I'm doing chores. I can not thank Linda enough for helping to relieve enough pain where I can function normal and I'm actually looking forward to a second session. Thank you Royal Spa & Massage for taking care of me. Oh! I should also mention ton how clean and great the inside looks and my sheets smelled so fresh that that helped me relax more. Perfect setting.

My wife and I needed an escape from the daily grind and we decided to stay in Reno for a few nights. On our relaxation day, we made an appointment for a couple's 90 minute massage. The room looked more makeshift as we got into the room before the massage. The cost for the couple's 90 minute massage was $160. Overall, the massage was great! As I looked at the clock, it was exactly, if not very close to 90 minutes total. Most places seen to stop five minutes early but here, we got our full value. For the price we paid, we'll definitely be back!

At first there was confusion with the masseuses but it was ironed out quickly. David was my person and he was excellent. Responded to my requests and adjusted pressure quickly.
