My wife and I were meeting a friend who lives in Laurel for dinner. We researched local restaurants…read moreand came across the Watershed Kitchen and Inn on OpenTable. The description of the restaurant, the menus and the reviews online made us to decide to give them a try. We're so glad that we did! We entered through the bar entrance which was lively but not crazy loud. There was a musician setting up in one corner of the bar area. We could hear him during our dinner but it was not at all distracting (and he was quite good). We were greeted by one of the hosts (who I now believe may be one of the owners). We were welcomed and escorted to a table in the dining room right behind the bar area. From what I could determine, there were at least two other dining areas and an outside dining area (for dining during the nicer weather). Our server quickly came to welcome us, ask if we had questions about the menu / specials and to take our drink order. She was attentive, pleasant and was able to quickly and accurately answer questions that we had (we have some dietary restrictions and needed to verify some ingredients. She knew immediately what we could order to dine safely. We started our order with the Chiccharon appetizer. I had anticipated that the item would be traditional crispy Chiccaron. Instead the dish was more of a pork belly in a broth. We actually enjoyed that much more! It was plentiful, cooked to perfection and flavorful. For dinner my wife and our friend ordered the sea bass special. They both thought it was plentiful, perfectly prepared and tasted great. I ordered the pork chop with spicy cherry peppers in a light evoo broth. I told our server that I wasn't eating potatoes or rice and asked for a recommendation for a substitute. She recommended the broccolini which was a perfect alternative. My pork chop was served perfectly (medium, juicy,) and was huge! We passed on dessert but the options looked amazing. We will absolutely be back again SOON. Thank you.

There was a hair in it (I've worked in a restaurant before so I was extremely understanding about that). I sent it back for a new one and they took it off the bill without me asking. My husband ordered the burger and he devoured it. The truffle fries are a must. Last time they had a better more varied beer selection. This time they only had one IPA on tap but it was good. Overall a great experience and I'd come back again!

They said we can have them with us on the patio (which is covered from the rain)! So we sat down and split the delicious burger and fries while the doggies laid at my feet. The staff even brought a pie plate with water for them. Highly recommend.

There is a very very calming comfortanble-warm atmosphere here. Just was just a lovely place to sit and spend some time. Again, This was a perfect spot to meet, catchup and do a slide of pie. Our very nice server asked what we wanted and to just fill time before dinner, we went with a coffee and some sweets. We definitely sat for a while whle catching up. We never felt like we needed to order more or we were here too long. I like the vibe here which is why you hear so many people speaking about this place. Looking forward to a return trip, ordering some food and just enjoying what the venue has to offer. KUDOs to the team at Love Lane Kitchen.

Waiter doesn't come to our table till 3:30 pm. Exactly one hour after our reservation time. At this point we don't even have time for apps. We order our drinks and main meal. Meals come out 25 mins later. I got the blt sandwich but there is no bacon on it. I didn't even say anything because I couldn't wait another 25 mins for a new sandwich. It's a beautiful place, food was good, but the wait between seating is, the waiter, and the food coming in was just not worth it.
