She acted like she owned the practice. BAD MEDICAL ETHICS! If an established patient has a sinus infection, you do not tell the patient to go to a primary physician; and you do not schedule the patient for two months later. I consider this negligence & malpractice.

Despite the referral and fact that I have utilized this practice in the past, the staff was unwilling to schedule a hearing test until I saw Dr. Brown, their affiliated ENT doctor. Dr. Brown does not have any openings until mid July. Although I explained that I've had vertigo for the last 3 weeks, am finding it disorienting and am having difficulty with activities of daily living, the office staff was cold, inflexible and lacking in compassion.

I have to say, I don't think I've *ever* had a day-one initial consult experience as thorough, positive & caring as it was with Karen today. I can't believe that she's registered as "only" a nurse - she's much more knowledgeable than 99% of the doctors I've had, listens incredibly well, and is very down-to-earth with her advice and generous with her time. I'm sticking with her as my primary doctor, hands down!! The medical profession and the world in general would be so much better off if there were more Karens out there!!!
