I wondered in after the previous beloved bakery closed down. Sour Rabbit is a sourdough bakery that has a variety of products. I ordered a scone, which I do not usually go for but this scone was delicious. It was perfectly soft on the inside and a little hard on the outside! I will be going back to try more.

Grand opening this week. Had to stop in, unfortunately I waited too late in the day to have many options. Decor is adorable and clean. A few round tables inside invited us to sit down and try it out. Tried the Cinnamon Swirl pastry and the Mortadella Sandwich. Perfect midday treat!! The pastry is a nice mix between a cinnamon roll and a pretzel. The Sandwich was delicious, made on sourdough with fresh mozzarella and pesto. Tasty! I look forward to trying more from this new place.

I was a bit disappointed when I walked into Sour Rabbit and discovered that I had arrived on a day when they don't sell pastries. This was bagel day. Their schedule is a bit confusing; they always sell loaves of Sourdough bread, sandwiches are available M-F, cakes on Sundays and bagels and pastries alternative days. My wife and I each ordered a bacon and cheese bagel, I was also disappointed in the price- over $10 for 2 bagels seems very excessive since I can get 6 for that price at the local bagel chain and have many more options of flavors and cream cheese spreads. After arriving home, we toasted our Sourdough Bagels added some plain cream cheese spread and declared to each other," This is the best bagel I've ever had"! The crunchy exterior with bacon pieces and Cheddar cheese complimented the soft, airy Sourdough interior. A perfect baked good. Will I return? Yep, despite the price and the crazy schedule, I'll be back to try the cakes, loaves and pastries, I just have too remember their funky rotation.

Absolutely love this bakery. If you're European you have to visit the Rabbitt. Pastries and breads are authentic!

It was our first trip and late in their day, so stock was low, the sourdough bread we got was GORGEOUS and smelled SO GOOD!

I ordered online and it was seamless. My food way ready when I arrived and my order was accurate. Service was friendly. The location seemed pretty large and clean. They do have a drive thru and plenty of parking. They have a large menu and on this visit I tried the meatball sub. They offer whole and half sizes. They feature 2 oz meatballs from Scimecas, a whole has 4 making the sandwich over a pound and 51 grams of protein. It's about $14 for a whole but I got it as a weekly special at a mere $10. (Check their socials for more specials!) The sandwich was so good. It was big. The meatballs were delicious and had a good texture and flavor. The sauce was a little sweet but not overpowering. The bread held up amazingly. It had a nice chew and could stand up to all the sauce. There was plenty of cheese. Nice garlic essence. Highly recommend and I'd get it again. They also had $1 hot dogs so I got a few. My pups love hot dogs and these were no exception. I believe they're normally between $3-4 but they are boars head and all beef. I also had one and it was delicious. Who doesn't love a glizzy? They have whole pickles so I had to have one of those. Great pickle. No complaints. I also ordered non-phallic items like a few different cookies. The cookies are bomb. Chewy, soft, big. I'll probably have to get a cookie every time I go. I tried the s'mores, lemon blueberry, and the triple chocolate chunk. All were equally good. Great flavor. Fantastic texture. Get cookies. Again, no complaints. I'll go back and will be recommending them. Check them out!

Bay Boy is THAT Boy! I'm thrilled to have another location of Bay Boy in the Northland, which is…read moresuch an up and coming neighborhood. This Bay Boy is a small window located inside The Commons which is connected to Cinderblock Brewery but, don't be fooled by its small stature it still carries the full menu of the West Plaza location. The one thing it boasts is you can grab a brew from with The Commons bar or from Cinderblock while your sandwich is crafted. And don't fret because these sandwiches are well worth any wait they may take! What makes Bay Boy utterly unforgettable is the Dutch crunch bread. This unique crackly slightly crunchy but still, oh so pillowy soft bread is the perfect vessel to hold all the fillings of any of the sandwiches on the extensive menu. My number one recommendation sadly is not always on the menu but if you catch it you better order it! It is called The Blue Blaze and it consists of juicy white meat turkey, peppery arugula, melty mild white cheddar and locally sourced spicy blueberry jam. It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory with a kick. Another winner is the Wagyu Nebraskan if you want a bougie take on a Rueben. The Wagyu corned beef is locally sourced and is melt in your mouth paired with a slightly sweet kraut, nutty Swiss cheese and the tangy thousand island this sandwich is an elevated take on a classic. Another winner, well let's just face it any sandwich at Bay Boy is a winner winner chicken dinner (in the words of the iconic Guy Fieri), but let's focus on another rift of a classic sandwich the El Jefe. This is Bay Boy's take on a Cubano but unlike its predecessor the bread isn't flat or pressed it's on a Dutch crunch roll like every sandwich on the menu. The mojo pork is buttery and fatty- in a good way- making the meat so moist that combined with salty ham, melted Swiss and zingy briny pickles makes for a killer combination. Don't forget the mustard! And how Bay Boy makes it there own is with an addition of a zesty vibrant red pepper sauce. You can't help but to love El Jefe. I could go on and on about how each sandwich is unparalleled but, I'll just bore you with one more...The Bay Boy, I couldn't cover Bay Boy's without mentioning the sandwich that the restaurant was named after (or was it the other way around) anyways it doesn't matter. The Bay Boy is a cold sandwich (unlike the other ones I mentioned which are all toasty) which may sound simple but, the medley of flavors is paired down perfection. No pile of meats just stand alone Soppressata which shouldn't need any introduction because it's the superior salami. This sandwich gets sauced down with not one, not two but four sauces that make the sandwich anything but dry. Classic mayo and mustard are alongside a creamy pungent garlic sauce and a red pepper sauce, which is a mix of cherry and banana peppers. Then produce is added for freshness, think lettuce, tomato and zippy raw red onions (my personal favorite) with pickles of course! This truly is a sandwich masterpiece.

It's a walk-up window, super lowkey, but the food is not playing. I got a turkey sandwich with gouda and peppers, added blueberry jam, and grabbed a bag of chips on the side. The bread is really what sets it off. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and it actually holds everything together. The turkey and gouda were solid, peppers gave it a little bite, and that blueberry jam added just enough sweetness to balance everything out without being weird about it. I paused after the first bite because it caught me off guard in a good way. Finished the whole thing, chips and all. Simple setup, really good food, and I'll absolutely be back.

The Bob's Hog pizza with bbq sauce and meats, was really good. The Grand Canyon was good but the onions were a bit too plentiful for me and not quite cooked enough--still a bit crunchy. Ambiance - wood laden local pizza restaurant without the cookie cutter chain decor/vibe. Been going here off and on for decades. Food, service and atmosphere are spot on. With the classic crust option it fits perfectly between a thin crust and a rather thick crust. For those fans of "one bite everyone knows the rules", very little flop. Great combo of flavors between the sauce, pepperoni, peppers and cheese. Only petty complaint is a non copious amount of grease, bur not a small bit either.
