First time here. Got Bagel with Sliced Nova Lox and Any Cream Cheese.

Food came out fast. Place is clean. I want to try more things on their menu. Nice neighborhood spot. Seating inside and out. Maybe too many tomatoes on my lox. And not enough capers.

    Fantastic

I come here 3 times a week, Fast Service, respectful service, and great food! Highly recommend to everyone looking for a great breakfast place to spend their morning.

So what. It's a lot of food smoke. When you leave you smell like grease. Otherwise the staff they are nice polite Inside clean but every once and a while they can wipe down the tables. Also the sidewalks are very dirty they could use a steam spray. Food good Good customer service and I will be back. Thank you. Oh yea since I've been here about one hour it's a Lady behind the counter drinking coffee and just standing there. She has a green mug with black gloves. Oh now she working but she did not change her gloves. Minus one stat.

Bagels and coffee place. Breakfast and lunch menu. It's a nice destination when you need to fill your belly.

We moved here from New England last year and have truly been disappointed by all the bagels we have eaten here in Florida. Just not the same! Until we found Makeb's. The bagels are soft, fresh and absolutely delicious. And toasted to perfection, freeze so well. We are so happy to have found them. The service was so fast. My egg and cheese sandwich on an Asiago bagel was ready in minutes. So fast. And so delicious. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating and lots of space. Have definitely found our go to bagel place!!

Everything bagel toasted with lox and extra cream cheese! Yum!!

One of my new favorite breakfast spots! True New York style bagels! Fair prices, friendly staff! When I get by there to have lunch one of these days soon and check out their deli sandwiches!

This is my 3rd time needing minor adjustments on an order that I've placed. When I spend my hard earned money on take out, I expect to get what I ordered. I dislike not toasted bread, and this is what I got. A message for whoever did this " if you don't like your job, quit and find something you like, don't take it out on the customers ". I didn't have time to return, so I removed the side not toasted. I did check my order, it looked perfectly toasted until I got to my destination and saw the other side. Staff meeting needed. Other than that I like it there

I only asked for the bagel to be split in half, not toasted and definitely, not burnt!!

While Makeb's is one of my favorite places to pick up breakfast, I have recently been disappointed with their skill when following directions!! I asked them to only split my bagel. I wanted to eat it later. But they toasted and burned my bagel!!! And for the cost of breakfast, it really makes me upset. Sometimes I have asked for an omelette with ham and cheese only, only to get to work and have peppers AND onions in my omelette. I really wish they would follow directions!!!

Nice staff. Good variety of bagels. Ugh. Got our orders wrong. Not toasted. I got an egg sandwich on Asiago but really like it toasted. Hubby ordered nova locks on Asiago, toasted & got plain cream cheese. Decent parking & sitting space. Seemed busy. Just really frustrated that we don't get what we ordered & paid for.

Upon walking in the barista immediately greeted us which was so welcoming and nice! My boyfriend was thrilled as usual to find a geisha pour over that he thoroughly enjoyed. We also had a chocolate croissant and iced latte, and and everything croissant at the recommendation of the nice man working! The everything croissant is not something I normally would've ordered but he described it so well I had to try it - and I loved it! The patio out front is so adorable too with a handful of tables and a little shelter in case it's sunny or rainy, surrounded by beautiful greenery.

I ordered their seasonal drink which was a lavender latte and asked if I could have extra lavender syrup in my coffee and the barista said yes but she didn't inform me it would a whole $5 dollar up charge which was the cost of the coffee so I paid $10 for a coffee that was worse than Starbucks quality. The matcha was also nothing to write home about and honestly I could make better matcha at home. While the service was quick and the inside seems like a great coworking space with two levels it was so loud inside as well. I'll definitely skip from going to this location in the future.

They play some nice and calm music which creates a comfy and cozy atmosphere. The barista who took my order answered all my questions and I enjoyed my iced americano with sugar free vanilla cold foam and it was definitely high quality espresso beans used to make it. I also shared the almond croissant which was delicious and flakey with the right amount of sweetness. My friend got a bagel sandwich which looked filling and delicious! We noticed lots of people coming into do some work and enjoy coffee time with family and friends. Next time I come I will definitely try the matcha and they offer several season flavors and drinks. The menu offers a great selection without being overwhelming, and everything always tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is genuinely friendly, and I love that there isn't a constant turnover of employees. Seeing familiar faces each visit creates a welcoming, community feel that's hard to find these days. I'm admittedly a little picky with my order--I customize my sandwich, adjust the number of eggs, remove the aioli, and make a few other changes. Yet I've never been met with anything but kindness and patience. At this point, they practically know my order by heart. One of my favorite features is that part of the café where you can see their coffee roasting operation. Watching the beans being roasted in-house adds such a unique touch and creates an amazing ambiance. It gives the space character and makes the experience feel even more authentic. And the turkey sandwich? Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere in town. It's one of those meals I genuinely crave. Great coffee, amazing food, outstanding customer service, and a warm atmosphere--this place gets it right every time.

With working overnight and getting back in the early morning, I would be craving "dinner" at 7am versus a breakfast spread. I found a lot of places selling breakfast at these early hours, but Johan's Joe was the only place I found that sold lunch items. On my first visit here, I got their Swedish meatballs platter and a lavender cardamom lemonade. I instantly fell in love. In fact, out of the 15 days of staying in West Palm Beach, I ate at Johan's Joe 11 times. Every single time I'd get a plate of Swedish meatballs. I also began to try out other items, like their waffles on the weekend, scrambled eggs, bacon, and soup. All fantastic. For beverages, I always got their lavender cardamom lemonade and later discovered the orange juice to be really good, too. How did I manage to eat Swedish meatballs 11 times in 2 weeks? I was curious, too. Upon reflecting, I realized how perfect the platter really is. It offers perfect balance. Let me explain: Texturally, there's a crispness from the pickled cucumbers, a slight pop from the whole lingonberries, a bounce from the meatballs, and creaminess from the mashed potatoes and gravy. The dish also has a mix of sweetness (lingonberries), tartness (pickled cucumbers), and salt (meatballs). There's even a mix of temperatures with the main platter being hot, while the lingonberries and cucumbers are cold. With only time to eat one meal a day, this turned out to have everything on one plate. Exactly what I craved and needed. The service here was very friendly, all the employees were polite and offered great service. It was also nice to see that there were also a handful of local regulars who I'd see every time. They definitely know how to create a welcoming and cozy spot. After leaving the area, I found myself actually missing this spot quite a bit. I will be back again for work soon, so I'll be able to get my meatball fix again. Thanks, Johan's Joe!
