We were excited to try this new place! We got the Brisket Sandwich and the Caprese Sandwich. Our order was ready on time. Staff was friendly. HOWEVER, these two sandwiches were over $30. And they were completely underwhelming. Just a step and half above Subway. NOT $30+ worth. NOT. Seriously, not much meat on the one, NO tomato on the other (Caprese has Mozzarella and Tomato. Walked in hungry, and left happies. Sure, it's as expensive as Panera, but is just as good IMO. Got a 6" and still had some leftover for later. The clam chowder was good, enjoyed dipping the bread coupled with it. Everyone was super nice there, and I felt welcome. Wow! I ordered the Smoked Brisket specialty sandwich. It was fresh and delicious! The bread was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy. Smokey flavor was on point and the slightly spicy green chili slaw complimented it perfectly. Delicious. Definitely coming back! read more

I casually rolled in rudely right after they had just closed (oops- I didn't realize) and they were SO nice and even offered to make me what I wanted to go, and they had already started breaking down the kitchen- how nice is that!? Honestly torn between leaving this review because I want to keep this is a secret for myself. House made bread, fresh food, great portion sizes, clean, and the manager was super nice and gave my boys fresh cookies that were AMAZING. Good clam chowder as well. The crew on 7/31/24 was awesome. Worked fast, great customer service and polite. Never had this experience before from past visits at this location. I was greeted, acknowledged and treated great with this group. That was never the case with the workers there before. Hopefully those are out and gone. Makes me want to go there more now. Don't come here if you're on a tight schedule. Unfortunately, our experience was similar to others who have left reviews. We waited over 30 minutes for two sandwiches. Several parties who ordered after us received their meals before us while others were also checking to see what was taking so long. The set up of the prep area was really inefficient which was causing way more stress on the staff than necessary. Our sandwiches were fine, but overpriced. read more

We loved this place! We had a very large group and are used to places being a little intimidated with us. However these folks were friendly and helpful! The man at the register with the braided beard was especially kind as he helped us understand what we were ordering and listened to us deal with an abundance of small children. The food was amazing as well. We ordered salads, soups, mac and cheese, and sandwiches. The potato soup did not taste done, but their clam chowder was grand. It was clearly a specialty. read more

I want to like this place, but out of the 10 times I've ordered here this is the 3rd time I've gotten an incorrect order. Step it up.

We have been wanting to try this place since it came Eureka and I was really disappointed in the service. I don't typically write reviews based off of a one-time experience but this justifies it. The cashier was a very nice taller blonde lady that took my order for one clam chowder with a bread bowl, To-Go, since we have a far drive home and do not want our food to be soggy. She re-read the order back perfectly, reiterating that it was a to-go order. Five minutes later a girl with blonde hair in a pony tail, black t-shirt, and army cargo pants came out with our order as a "for here" order where the soup was already in the bread bowl. I kindly told her that we had ordered the food as to-go and she took the food back to fix it. After that, however, she proceeded to make comments and jokes about the whole ordeal with her coworkers. She was saying things like "so sad, so sad" in regards to our order after she had admitted to being the one to messing it up as a for-here order. She then came out with the soup, walked passed us, and loudly offered our food to the family next to us stating that she messed it up and that we didn't want it. Usually when people do mess up food they offer the food to the original orderer and not another group next to us. She then went to the back and proceeded to laugh with her coworkers about the whole ordeal and admit she was not working on fixing our order by saying "for Sarah? Nope I haven't done anything for that" as coworkers were actively leaving and making lunches for themselves for their breaks instead of remaking the food. It was completely embarrassing to have that happen to us considering we were the only other people there besides the family next to us she gave the food away to. Again, I hope my food is good and nothing has happened to it, we are very nice people and wouldn't be writing this unless we thought it was completely unprofessional for that to happen. read more

I went there over the weekend and the place was busy, shift change. They made an error on my order that I noticed when I got home and I called right away. They offered to fix the order but I was too tired to go back that day. I went in today and they replaced the order, were very friendly and apologetic about the mistake and very professional about the whole experience. Great service, food was very good and the place is nice and clean and welcoming. Will definetly go back!!! read more

My experience at Sourdough&Co was exactly what I anticipated....Great!!! From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was very warm and friendly. While I waited for my order, I observed the staff with other customers and was very pleased. Warm, friendly and upbeat. Dynovan, who waited on me, was delightful. I took my sandwich and Clam Chowder to-go. Very, Very good. The Clam Chowder was especially worth noting. The broth was thick and creamy, the potatoes were done,but not "mushy". The taste was wonderful, not too salty and smelled of clams, as it should. The meal was a bit pricey, but, in today's marketplace, what isn't??? I will be returning again and again. I was very excited to try this place. They did have good service but I'm only giving it one star for a few reasons. So I spent $17 for a 4" sub, side of clam chowder soup and a Diet Coke. I did not get any sauce on my sandwich... everything was so small for the price and the sandwich didn't even taste good to me. I thought the clam chowder would save the day but it smelled so fishy upon opening it and I thought it went bad. I couldn't even eat it because the taste was so fishy/salty. I called to ask if the clam chowder went bad and the manager told me that they just got their shipment in and just opened but also that clams come from the ocean and there for are fishy. That was the basic argument and a bad way to go about it. I have never had clam chowder that smells or tastes fishy ever and I didn't feel good after I ate a bite but maybe it's just me. I think everyone should save their money and support local sandwich shop businesses. read more
