Why did we have to remind them to fill it twice? Why were we not given paper napkins? Why did we have to ask for butter with the bread when it is standard? I don't _know_ that it is racism per se, it might just be incompetence. But the corporation needs to understand why their employees' behavior needs to be not just equal but equitable: you have to be extra careful to not commit unconscious micro-aggressions, because the same "incompetence" lands differently when it is repeated, seems not to happen to white folks and the associated perceived bias has accumulated, we are not "more sensitive".
