Great pastrami Rueben and turkey sandwich. The Mac and cheese and poblano soup were delicious too. Excellent ingredients and friendly and helpful staff.

Was excited to try this place for the first time, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. I placed a pickup order and received the wrong sandwich/wrong meats. I tried calling multiple times to get it resolved, but no one answers the phone and the voicemail box is full. I also emailed through the feedback link provided with the online ordering (which says someone will reach out within a few days), but I never heard back. Since I couldn't get in touch with anyone, I'll be filing a dispute with my bank. Not the best first impression... I was excited to try this place!

If you've never had a sandwich from a Sourdough & Co location - you are missing out! They are delicious and you get a ton for the price. This location is always clean and the staff is super friendly.

    4" Turkey Sandwich

Tried out a new sandwich spot. I had a 4" turkey with cheddar, the house spread and lettuce. I loved the bread - it was fresh and had a nice crunch to it. I definitely did not like the house spread. I have no idea what's in it but it's very tangy and tart and kind of ruined the sandwich for me. Next time I'd stick to the old standards of mayo or mustard but you never know until you try something. The workers here were very nice and checked on me after I was served.

I love sourdough bread so I've been dying to try this place. Came on a Sunday and the three guys working were very upbeat and cheery which is refreshing for a fast casual restaurant nowadays. I got the Italian sandwich which was DELICIOUS! I got everything on it but next time I'd take off the mustard and house spread just to make it more like a normal Italian. My boyfriend got the cholula chicken and said it was amazing and he doesn't even like sourdough bread! He agreed no house spread on his as well. The bread was supper fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside! We thought the cookies looked a bit hard but on our way out I asked if they were hard or soft and then they gave us a free one to try! Let me tell you, that chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I've had. So soft in the inside!!! Really incredible service. Really great food. 10/10 experience will be returning

Ordered the French dip which was good but the au jus was terrible. Looked like water and had no taste. They got it 50% right.

My recent experiences have been for breakfast and I am grazing through the menu finding plate after plate to be up to what Mark Tarbell would call "elevated". (I did not. I ordered a full breakfast and a waffle like an adult with priorities.) I went around 9:15am on a Wednesday--only a few tables were occupied, and the staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and the food came out fast. Inside is dialed in with chandeliers, French-y posters and photos everywhere, and a pastry case with tarts, pastries, and cheesecake that basically dares you to behave. The croissant was the star... fresh, flaky, light, buttery... exactly what you want. The egg was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted into it almost like a mini omelette (loved that). My only hiccup was the "bacon." It leaned more limp pork belly than crispy bacon and had a distinct smoke flavor that wasn't the traditional hardwood/hickory vibe I'm used to. Also... because the cheese and egg are fused together, it's basically impossible to pick the bacon out once it's in there. Next time I'd order it without bacon or ask for it on the side and make it crispy. It came with a side salad, which is not what I expected with breakfast, but it was actually great, fresh spring mix and a delicious dressing with a subtle sweet undertone. There were also hash browns with a crispy exterior and soft, warm interior, exactly the texture you hope for I just wish there were more of them! Because I have no self-control around French cafes, I also ordered the Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream. The waffle was warm and tasty, more tender/soft than crispy, and I ended up preferring it to the 'scrape the roof of your mouth' style that most restaurants serve up. The whipped cream tasted freshly whipped and the fruit selection was generous. My only critique: I'd skip the granulated sugar on top. The waffle is sweet enough already, and biting into sugar crystals isn't my favorite texture. For a drink I tried the blueberry lavender matcha. It had crushed blueberries in it, but the matcha flavor was pretty mild and the lavender got lost. I also would've liked a touch more sweetness from the syrup but overall it drank a bit "soft" and subtle. Bottom line... really cool little spot with friendly service, quick food, and a pastry case that will absolutely ruin any plan you had to "just eat light." I'll be back but next time I'm customizing that croissant sandwich and letting the pastries talk me into bad decisions.

The restaurant had already been open for almost 2 hours, so I am not sure why it was so hot inside (others in our party were hot too, so I wasn't just me). Positives are the restaurant's beach decor and the hamburgers. Several people in our party ordered burgers, and they were cooked to perfection and the fries were really good! Negatives are very few seafood menu options and the fish tacos were terrible. They were drowning in a mayonnaise based slaw. The corn tortillas were really fresh and tasty, but when I bit into my taco I could mostly only taste mayonnaise and the pickled onions. Our friends even made an unsolicited comment that my tacos did not look good. Luckily, I selected fries as my side, because they were the best thing on my plate. With a name like Montauk, and the beach decor, I expected more fresh seafood options on the menu. More than half the menu was not seafood (Mediterranean platter, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, brussels sprouts, salads, etc.). Unfortunately, Montauk does not live up to the hype.
