I found a high top table near the furry grass covered benches and settled in for what turned out to be about 3 minute wait. Much better! Considering this was a cold salad with just warm chicken, it was a great turnaround. Both times I ordered the Thai crunch salad without the ramen noodles and the bean sprouts. The first time this required "substituting the base of the salad" for kale and romaine which was fine. The second time when I said no bean sprouts, there was no question about the base and it was just romaine, which was also fine. I let them toss the salad with the dressing both times. It was not over or underdressed , just perfect. The dressing is fabulous it is a creamy Asian sesame flavored dressing. The salad still included crunchy candied almonds, shallots, mango, pickled daikon and carrots, cilantro with the hint of something spicy. The chicken is sliced, in bite sized pieces, tender and plentiful. I got full but didn't have leftovers, from this $16 entree. Excellent salad both visits. I bussed my own table and refilled my lemonade tea concoction for the road, it was 111 out but cool inside. Try it!!

This is unacceptable on a Saturday night shortly after 9pm just a few blocks from the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. This wouldn't even be acceptable if it was only a few minutes prior to there closing time but closing 2 hours and 45 minutes early!!!! I wasted my time and gas driving there all for nothing. What a poor way to run a business Silver Mine Subs! I've been eating there anytime I was in the area for over 13 years but not anymore!
