Quick, clean, and a great deal! We saw the new toy story 5 Theater: The theaters are on the smaller side, but comfortable... No recliners though but that's ok!!! The bathrooms were clean, which is always a huge plus for us. There was popcorn everywhere in the halls though. Snacks: Popcorn is refillable no matter the size, so think that through before sizing up... You get to fill your own bucket as many times as you want. Staff: The staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our visit. Parking: There is tons of parking in a huge shared lot, and they have a wheelchair ramp available if you need it. PRO TIPS: 1-The main entrance does not face the road. Don't make the same mistake I did--you don't need to climb the outside stairs! 2- It was a bit warm in the hallways while we waited for the show. The theater itself was a little cooler, but during the heatwave, it struggled just a little bit to totally beat the heat. I would definitely tweak that during 90+ degrees. Independent movie house so they do some films the chains don't. But not enough. And a lot of old movies you can stream or see on DVD. The theater we were in (they have 5) was tiny: 34 seats. They offer free refills on popcorn so we shared a small ($6.50) & got a refill. It was pretty bad popcorn (but to be fair, I think all movie popcorn is terrible. I prefer to air-pop my own at home). Even though we sat in the last row, the way the seats are built, we had to look up; a bit of a strain. The sound was way too loud for such a small theater. $8 bargain Tuesday, but also all matinees for seniors are $8 so prices are good (especially if you are a senior or can go on Tuesday). Last night visited the South Bay Cinemas and seen Toy Story 5. We had a great family night. Admission prices half of what other theaters charge. Popcorn delicious and get this, free refills (on any size) from a really cool hot popcorn machine (no waiting at the end of the counter for an employee to notice you). Seating super comfy. Employees all friendly and pleasant. In a day when people stay home rather than experience a large screen event, this theater brings back the good ol' days of family fun viewing. read more

So happy this place finally reopened! I love that it's a mom-and-pop movie theatre that caters to the community. Beautiful new seating that reclines comfortably comfort snd each theater is a decent size. They also have all the new movies (Saw Dogman opening weekend - highly recommend if your kid also loves those books). Also let's discuss how reasonable the pricing is here. $8/ticket for a brand new movie?! Yes please! Concession pricing is also very reasonable and the popcorn is self serve. We didn't indulge this time but I've never seen a self-serve popcorn refill in my life. Support your local movie theatre and please be respectful and clean up after yourselves. First time coming here since it reopened. If anyone remembers the old theatre, this is a slightly upgraded version. No assigned seating. Only about 1/2 of all seats have leg rests (none appear to recline) and the seating is a lad tight. Screens looked new and the sound was good. Concessions are slightly cheaper than other theaters but there aren't any combos. The popcorn is self serve. Staff was friends and there is plenty of parking. Theater was clean. It's local so odds are I'll be back. Not bad...just nothing blowing me away. read more

I used to go to this movie theatre before it shut down, but since they opened back up, they have been nothing short of AMAZING. Whenever I walk in I always see the same 6'4 handsome worker offering to sell me tickets to their latest movies. The concessions offer free refills on the popcorn which is OPTIMAL even if you wanted to purchase the small popcorn. In the theatre the seats are EXTREMELY comfortable, and the atmosphere makes it easy to focus on the movie. Dirty and rude staff at concession stand. Went to first showing and the floor was covered in popcorn and garbage. The seats all have butter finger prints from night before. Place was redone less than a year ago and it's already filthy. Girl with nose ring was rude when buying drinks. Came put to $11.50 and she gave me one quarter back. Dirty / Nasty / cheap. Having had my cujones broken by someone wanting to go to a movie "because we never go to a movie" I relented to the whining and allowed myself to be taken to the South Bay Cinemas located across the trash strewn lot from "Big Lots". I have to admit, $7 for a movie kind of made my night. What do you get for your $7? Well surprisingly you get a first run movie. Unsurprisingly, you get to watch said first run movie in a trash strewn and decrepit theater that is long past it's prime. The first clue you are about to enter the equivalent of a dumpster with seats is the handwritten sign that no credit cards are accepted at "this time". Since the sign appeared quite old, I can only guess it has been quite a while since the thought of no longer forking over 2.5% to the credit card processors seemed like a good idea to the theater management. The concession people were busy throwing popcorn at each other as we walked by on the way to the seats - lord only knows if they swept it up and tossed it back in the popcorn bin? The seats were beat up and it took some doing to find two together where both armrests were intact. That being said the movie was fine - screen was in decent shape and the sound system appeared to be functioning. I'll go back but next time I'm wearing long pants with elastic cuffs- just in case... This place is awesome, being welcomed by so many pigeons is truly a remarkable experience. There is a very friendly homeless man living in the parking lot who is willing to collect your recyclables at any time. I am confident they purchased their drapery from an Adams family yard sale about 40 years ago. The best money maker for this place would be for them to rent it out to a haunted house company in October. (no i don't actually know if this place has bedbugs but to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it did). The biggest problem with this place is the theatre iteself. The sound is AWFUL, the screeens are ancient and look horrible, the projectors are kind of dim, and the seats are falling apart. If you are looking for a cheap movie, visit the Seaford Cinemas instead. The prices are about the same, and at least that theatre is actually clean and staffed by friendly people. I used to go to this movie theater as a kid. They had cursory prices than the other two theaters on route 110. However the staff does not properly maintain the cleanliness UFC this location. It's always dirty in there from the lobby to the theater seats. Even for the lore price is not worth visiting. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. We came here once to see a movie. It's very close to our house which is great for me because I can walk here or bike here easily. It's also located close to my gym. It's pretty cheap to see a movie here but you get what you pay for as the theatre looks run down. I actually thought the theatre was abandoned when I first started to hang out in the area. Let's just start with the fact that I couldn't tell if this place has been closed down for 40 years or if this was the movie theater that I ended up at after the conjuring 2 was sold out everywhere else. The place is so run down and unbelievably dirty. My word of advice would be not to turn your phone flashlight on because I guarantee you won't want to sit down. Well I guess if there had to be a positive the movie theater looked like a scene straight out of the conjuring so I guess you can say it added to the experience. Although the place is cheap it certainly is worth spending an extra 5 dollars for a cleaner more welcoming environment. Putting aside that theater is dirty and it needs some reconstruction, I am not annoyed by that, for the simple fact that I grew up in a third world country where I didn't frequent luxurious places, I am used to this kind of look and to make the best out of any experience. The location is great, easy to get to with a nice parking lot. The attendants were nice and courteous. The movie tickets are the best, 5.00 off peak or 8.00 for peak. There wasn't too many people for a Saturday night which made it kool, less people, less noise. Enjoyed the experience with my son very much. It's the first time is a looooooooooong time that I got to a movie theater and don't expend about 100.00. My total cost of a great night out with my son 27.00 including ticketes, and meal. I came here to see Toy Story 3 in 3D. It was $11 bucks a ticket. They don't seem to care about you bringing in outside food here. I ate some baked tofu while I watched the film. I have concluded that I will no longer see 3D movies. The prices for movies here are nice and cheap in general. $7 for an adult ticket and $5 before 6pm. There were some really annoying kids in the front when we saw the movie. I wish they would have all gotten thrown out. All they would do is talk and get up and move around. If you want to save money on a movie and don't mind going to a run down place, come here. There are definitely better places to save money. Like P.J. Cinemas for example. Every time I pass by this theatre, my automatic thought is that it has shut down--it looks dead. Then I once again realize it's likely open, since the sign outside features current releases. The most recent time this happened, I decided to go there--I like to give local places my business. This was a mistake. Not a "oh god, we're gonna die!" mistake, but a "well, I know not to do that again" mistake. The place is a dump. I was directed to the theatre, which required going down a narrow flight of stairs, the railing loose to the point of pulling out of the wall, the treads threadbare. It rather looks like you're going the wrong way, as if this has to be the basement with the heating system. But no, there's the theatre. Why are there empty food containers around the theatre? It's the first show! Did they seriously not clean up since the previous night? Best strategy now: do not think of what's on those seats. The movie: not a review of the movie itself, of course, but the experience there. Not too bad. Mediocre projection/sound, but passable. I've actually seen/heard worse at newer/better theaters where they have no idea how to set up the equipment properly. The way out: my guest used the ladies' room, and reported that one out of the three stalls had a working lock; all were pretty filthy. While waiting outside, I noticed that the water fountain inexplicably had a roll of paper towels sitting in it. I suppose this was because the staff is unfamiliar with what to do with cleaning equipment. read more
