1st off, Thank you Jeremiah and everyone that works at the establishment of South Bay Collision Center for making my 1st experience very easy but just being real and upfront with everything. My first impression of this place was warm welcomed and genuine and they are not out to just hike up the price as a lot of shops do sadly to get as much money as they can from insurance claims rather then accepting truly both insurance and out the pocket. Short story, another driver turned into my car at a red light last minute without looking and hit my car. Nothing crazy but definitely noticeable on the front bumper. I agreed to get 3 estimates from 3 different place 1 place I have been to before and 2 others I never been before. I met Jeremiah and he was up front with a lot of information and just being real with me genially and I always appreciate that rather than adding unnecessary things to just make the prices higher as if they were trying to get as much as possible as a lot of places do with insurance companies. In my opinion the prices were fair and realistic and they will work with insurance and paying out the pocket customers. The turn around time of completion was very convenient for me but not expected. I rather always have the job done right of course first. The bumper was fixed perfectly and within a very good turnaround time so I did not need a rental or loaner car thankfully. The work was done very professionally and they were very nice and talkative with legit information on explaining everything with me. The communication was very open and made the whole experience easy and headache free. They have a lifetime warranty that backs their work for anything that worked on and fixed themselves. Also washed my car when my it was finished and ready for pick up. i believe on their website it shows any repairs etc. over $1000 a car wash will be included as well. I personally, had a great experience with my 1st time with Jeremiah and all of his team. I would highly recommend to at least meet Jeremiah and his team for an estimate and feel them out yourself. Update: It took 1 hour to diagnose the issue, 1 week to receive the correct part, and just 20 minutes to install it. Frank, an employee at South Bay Collision and the so-called "expert" key guy, ordered the wrong part--an E46 component instead of the correct one for a W39. This caused unnecessary delays that could have easily been avoided. It's concerning that someone in his position would make that kind of mistake and not take accountability. Be aware of Frank and his employer at South Bay Collision--accountability is key, especially when customers are relying on accurate work and timely service. Great service at this shop. Came by initially with my wife's Honda to have them fix the dent on the back passenger door. The insurance team recommended these guys and I'm glad they did. After the paperwork part was worked out, Vic was able to schedule us in for service. Communication was excellent and easy. I had to come back a couple months later cause the wife and/or kids dragged the right lower molding off somewhere (don't ask). The mechanics and technicians did an absolute beautiful job repairing the many dents, tears, and areas of damage on my car, including dents, upholstery tears, and scrapes. They completed all repairs in a very timely manner, were very gracious with the use of a loaner car, and worked with my schedule to get everything repaired on time. Had a car bumper cover replaced and repainted. Unfortunately the shop did a poor color match with my car. Brought it back and they repeated it again essentially the same color that did not match the car. I am now spending additional money out-of-pocket taking it to another shop to get my bumper repainted so it can be properly color matched. read more

It's hard for me to leave a bad review, but I think now it's justifiable. I took my vehicle in twice, for different problems. First time, with the collision, my vehicle lost most fluids, and after repairs, the transmission was slipping, they claimed that the repairs had nothing to do, that it was about to fail (a fairly new car), and the AC had to be adjusted,charged/discharged three times to make it work again. Each time I took my vehicle for adjustments my vehicle had to be there for a few days. The place is really close to me, so the second time I had an accident I decided to give them another chance. This time, the suspension parts were replaced, and some other cosmetic work was done. I picked my car up on a Friday, Monday I was back as front wheels were loose, and wabbling, very unsafe to drive, and the front bumper to this day, it's still off, they could never permanently re-atach it. The first time I mentioned this, the guy kicked it in to make it "snap" supposedly with some clips inside. It came off again the same day. I can live with that. But the second time, they charged the insurance more, and they put is as "additional damages" although the suspension work was a poor job that they sub-contracted with a shop that is next door to them. The work supposedly is guaranteed for life, within reason, I agree. Well, the cheap parts used in the suspension started falling apart after only about 15k miles, very unusual for suspension parts. It is a common family car used for work/home 14 miles trips. I took it in again, they remember me, same people, and they graciously listened to me, but after seeing the damages, and when I mentioned warranty, they told me that they changed ownership, and that the old owners took all the records with them, and therefore I'm out of luck. A very shady way of ripping off customers. I work in customer service, and I would never do that to anyone. read more

Liars! 1. They stated to be approved repair shop for my insurance company only to find out after work was completed are not. 2. Dismantled my back bumper which only had some scratches to say it needed to be replace which almost resulted in the car being totaled. 3. Took off my back window tint and when called was told paper work only states side window was taken off as part of repair process, then on 2nd call was told they didn't touch my window. Terrible service from start to finish. Let's start with the old woman at the front berating my hand writing multiple times. Then when I asked about renting a car, she said "I'm not enterprise so I wouldn't know." A mechanic was being rude to another customer while I was sitting here and talking down to him. He was an older man that clearly had a language barrier. Finally, my mechanic quoted me a price that went up after further inspection. That was fine, but in the end the price went up three times. He told me it was because of additional parts but the receipt showed he added $900 worth of ADDITIONAL LABOR and would not walk me through the bill. Instead he ran to the back and sat there until I was ready to get the car. You all should clean the whole staff out because you are all atrocious. read more

Took my girlfriends silver 2017 Mustang here after she got rear ended and the fit, finish of the paint was damn near perfect! The amount of orange peel, clear on the rear bumper was pretty much a perfect match to the rear 1/4 panels, trunk etc. I have a pretty good eye for paint and the finish was pretty much factory-like paint no kidding.. I have used Sako a total or 5 times for various issues throughout the last 5 years. His team fixed my MKZ bumper after it was hit and was able to fix a misaligned lift gate for our MKC that SB Ford was quoting an arm and a leg. Sako is down to earth, fair, and his team do impeccable work. I recently brought my Tesla Model Y in for a door ding and his master puller did an excellent job. You can't even tell there was a dent. My last time in I had damaged my lift gate with an accidental opening via the app while the garage door was open. Sako's team worked with me on a fair out of pocket quote and even was able to give a better price once completed based on actual time spent. Not 2 months after I'd purchased my dream car (first new car I've ever purchased - so it was a big deal), this A**HOLE comes into my lane and destroys the front right side of my car. I don't think I've ever felt so CRUSHED. I definitely cried (like, A LOT). The insurance company tried to manipulate me into going to a shop of their choice, but I talked to both Carlos and Vic and they told me that the insurance co. was legally obligated to let me go to whichever shop I wanted. Both my mom and I have had work done here at SBCC (myself on an old car and my mom on her Lexus), so I already knew the caliber of the work that they do. I insisted on taking my baby to SBCC and I am SO HAPPY that I did. Upon dropping my baby off with them, a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. They explained the process to me and told me they'd be ordering all Ford parts - no shortcuts or substitutions with them! They kept me informed of what was going on the entire time - I even ran into Vic at Costco one day and comforted me about the progress on my car. After my car was finished, they called me and told me it was ready to be picked up. I rushed out of work to drop of my shitty 4 cylinder eco-boost rental and as soon as I pulled up into the driveway of SBCC, I saw my baby looking as good as new (actually even BETTER than when I bought it because the dealership from which I purchased the car allowed the hood to get scratched). I CRIED. I literally CRIED tears of joy when I picked up my car that day. I can't explain how EXCELLENT it felt to see my car damage-free. In fact, I'm tearing up a bit as I write this.. Vic and Carlos absolutely know how much your car means to you and they treat it with as much care as if it were their own. I really, really, REALLY can't thank them enough for all of their hard work and effort. I'm so ELATED to have my car back in my life and looking PERFECT!
