Mike is a great barber and does amazing work. Give it a shot. I used to find it silly that people would care so much about a haircut and getting one every other week? It seemed like something you'd only see on TV (thinking of Jack in 30 Rock), but I just had yet to live. I trusted Mike with my hair and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I did a bunch of research and after several let downs, I stumbled upon Mike. I came in with hair too long for my own good and I started telling him what I was looking for... he just told me to stop talking and let him take care of it. I came in every other week and he made me look pretty (or less hard to look at, depending on what you're into). We got to chat and hang out, while he took care of my hair--it was a treat every time. Ultimately I made a friend that cared about giving me a great haircut, and this guy cares about making you look good. Everyone started asking me where I was getting my haircut, and complimenting about it every single time. I would let him try whatever he wanted and I was always pleased with the outcome.
