I used to love this restaurant so much. The last time I went there, it was less impressive. The food is still very good and I will return for take-out. But the service was lacking. At one point, my friends and I were all out of drinks, so I had to wander around the restaurant to find a server. I found a pitcher of water first, so I looked around more for a server. Our server was sitting at an empty table looking at his cell phone. I asked him if I could take the pitcher of water back to my table so that we could refill our drinks and he said yes. That's what I ended up doing. A half an hour before closing time, the staff started vacuuming and it was clear they didn't want any customers sticking around so we left. We ordered lunch from South Garden III during the week and it was delicious! We enjoyed the Mongolian beef which had wonderful flavor, very savory. We also ordered extra eggrolls and they were fresh and crispy. They seem to be made more in a spring roll type wrapper rather than a thick eggroll wrapper, and we enjoyed this. Prices are very fair for portion size. Two of us shared the lunch portion and had plenty. Easy to phone in and order and pick up within 15 minutes. read more

This was a quiet Chinese restaurant over in Parker. I came here on accident trying to go to a same named restaurant in Castle rock. I ordered hot tea, egg rolls and Generals Chicken with fried rice. The fried rice was normal and as expected for what comes with an entree. Little bit of egg and soy sauce. Not too oily at all which I appreciated! Nice:) The egg rolls were really good. Well fried, fresh fry oil, fresh veggie interior. Clearly made in house and great! Soup was nice, nothing to write home about but tasted fresh. They gave me crispy noodles upon request. The hot tea was pretty bad. Not flavorful and not fresh and gritty. I'd stick with water next time! The generals chicken I ordered because it listed a lot of veggies with it that I've never seen offered before on a Chinese menu. What came out was chunks of white meat chicken battered and fried "sweet n sour chicken" style with a sweet and mildly zesty sauce and lots of veggies. I really enjoyed this version a lot. I forgot to take a picture though. Service was helpful, prompt and polite! I tried an array of things and enjoyed all the dishes and they all seemed fresh and well prepared. Another couple dined in and I over heard one of them compliment their twice cooked pork dish saying it was "better than the place we usually go". I stopped busy this restaurant while running errands. I Ordered some takeout food, and it was in credibly fast. I took the owner's recommendation and ordered the sesame chicken. The sauce was probably closer to a sweet-and-sour chicken than a sesame chicken. The chicken itself was cooked well. There is a lot of batter used on the little chicken morsels. Probably more breading then I typically like the sauce was also far too sweet in my opinion, however, was pretty typical Chinese food. One weird item to note, I ordered lemonade with my to-go order and it came in a soup container with a little hole, cut out at the top. It was only mildly inconvenient because the soup container was larger than would fit in my cupholder. It made getting it home a little precarious, but we made it home with no spills. If you're looking for your run-of-the-mill Chinese food, this is a good place to try. Nothing real fancy, but also not very expensive. The service was good. They were very friendly. I was treated so so well I felt like ive been here a dozen times my first time. second, the drinks. absolutely amazing. they make them strong and they taste great. I'll add that the food is beyond what I thought I was going to experience coming in. I've been to more Chinese restaurants than I can say and this was hands down my top 2 favorite places on the food alone. if you're passing through or you live in Parker this is a must have. it's slow enough on the inside that if you want some incredibly friendly service youre in the right spot. Our favorite place closed so had to try a different place in the Parker area. First off, the service for pickup was very kind and attentive. I couldn't understand her very well to be honest (that's my bad) but the lady was talkative and friendly and smiling late on a Saturday. For pickup, I felt it was extra service and kept this review at 4 stars. I always order dumplings to judge a place. These were very large, well cooked, but overall okay. The sauce didn't stick well and the dough was a bit loose. This is me being very picky though. There was a lot of pork!! We received a free fried scallion pancake I think. It was very oily and we didn't eat it all. But it wasn't something we ordered so no judgement there! The hot and sour soup FYI was not vegetarian and had a few pieces or pork in it. It wasn't very spicy. For entrees we had moo shu chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Like other positive reviews, the amount of protein was more than other places. I could only eat 1/4 of mine so I had lots of leftovers. The flavors seemed off to me though. Not sure what flavor was missing, but it was "one note" as the chicken and cabbage mixture tasted the same. It tasted similar to the hot and sour soup, which take as you will. Again, nothing bad... it was good, but not great. Sweet and sour chicken was good though. The fried pieces weren't soggy nor too oily and there was plenty. I'd recommend that! Ok. This is why I'll never trust yelp when it comes to ratings in Parker. This place is fantastic. So I'm a big carnivore. So when my girlfriend wanted to pickup takeout and chose this place - I gave her a hard time. Only 3 out of 5 stars?!? Are you joking darling?! I'm glad she over ruled me. I'm glad This place proved over yelp reviewers that they have either changed or they are talking rubbish. I have never received so much duck meat in my dish before when I've bought this at other places. The photo was my second warm up - as I couldn't eat it all at once! This is a great place despite what some of the reviews may say. The inside is clean and spacious with plenty of seating, and the employees were friendly and hardworking. Food was ready quickly and prices are very fair for the amount of food. We ordered two large soups, 2 entrees, and dumplings for 3 people and there is enough left for lunch tomorrow. The food was delicious, flavorful, and high quality. If you're looking for a Chinese place out in Parker, I would highly recommend. The food here is mediocre at best, no flavor and was so bland it reminded me of what old people are served in nursing homes. First let me say that we found a long black hair as soon as we opened our food. None of us have long hair or black hair. Super gross! We ordered our regular which was Egg Drop Soup, Sauteed Vegetables, chicken wings, Lo Mein and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The soup has ZERO flavor, like none what-so-ever. It was grossly congealed and gelatinous. I'd assume they just threw in some eggs with a little unflavored broth and cups of cornstarch. Gross! The vegetable were nice and crisp and not over cooked but again, zero flavor. It took adding 1/2 cup of sriracha to give it any flavor. The Sweet and Sour chicken was so dry and over cooked it wasn't edible as were the wings. In all the years of ordering this dish all over the US I've never experienced this. Another instance not experienced before was super dry Low Mein noodles. How is this even possible, usually they're pretty greasy. These were so dry it took adding tons of sriracha to this dish as well. I've never experienced Chinese food with literally NO flavor and no spice. The search continues....why is it so hard to find just 'decent' Chinese in this town? read more

We ordered a delivery around 8pm last night and the food was absolutely atrocious. Barely any meat in the Beef with Garlic Sauce and mostly vegetables. What meat there was in the dish was rubbery and tasteless. My son would not eat it. The soup was bland as well. I do NOT recommend this place. Very poor quality and the amount of meat in any dish is a joke for what they charge you. I called the owner to let them know about how little meat was in the dish we paid over $11.45 for and all she said is we have many happy customer. I told her I wanted my money back, but she refused and said she would only give free appetizer on next order. South Garden III is not the place to get your Chinese food fix. I went with my in-laws, and were greeted and brought to a table. Even 2 hours before closing, we felt rushed by them. Maybe they don't speak much English, but it didn't seem like they were happy to see us. When we received our food, I could already guess what it would taste like. The meat was chewy, rubbery, and tasteless - I wouldn't even feed this garbage to my dog. I will admit that the orange chicken was done well, it was fried and tasty like Panda Express.
